00:00Here's a quick snapshot of the World Series odds at this juncture.

00:04Most teams have played nearly 50 games of their 162 during this 2025 MLB season.

00:11Not much really has changed at this moment.

00:14We had the World Series odds, and I guess they have been moved ever so slightly.

00:20The L.A. Dodgers, plus 250, as those short favorites still DRS,

00:24four bucks in front of the New York Yankees.

00:26The big move, despite getting blanked yesterday at home and losing 7-zip

00:31against the Cleveland Guardians, is the Detroit Tigers.

00:34Still with the best record in Major League Baseball at 10-1.

00:38Who's the team with the best record in the NL?

00:40That would be the Philadelphia Phillies, also at a 10-1 price.

00:4411-1 for the New York Mets, who have that fifth-best number rounding out the top five.

00:50Yep, I thought we had those odds on the screen, but I guess we apparently don't as well here.

00:53But I do like the Phillies at a 10-1 price as it sits right now.

00:57The Dodgers at a plus 250, they're always going to be there, people.

01:01It's just the way it's going to be.

01:02The Dodgers will be there in the end with a superpower team when it's all said and done.

01:06But you're all right about this.

01:07When you look at the Yankees, plus 650, maybe the best team in the American League.

01:10The Phillies have been flip-flopping around with the Mets and the Braves,

01:13and that's going to happen.

01:14When the Phillies are playing a string of really bad teams,

01:16which could continue today when they head out to Sacramento,

01:19you've got to pile up those victories.

01:21And if you are a team like the Atlanta Braves just trying to tread water,

01:24you can't be losing to teams like the Washington Nationals like they did the night before.

01:28And that's going to be one to watch because the Phillies, the Mets, and the Braves,

01:30they will be bouncing back and forth between each other all summer long.

01:34But just get used to the Dodgers.

01:36No matter what that record is, they will be ultra low

01:39and always be the favorite the entire way through.

01:42And it's not like the Dodgers, although the Phillies have that best record,

01:45are much farther off, 31-19 through 50 games.

01:49A full game behind Philadelphia, who is now 32-18.

01:53Again, the best mark, at least by a half a game right now, and one full win.

01:58That's the Detroit Tigers in the American League at 33-18.
