00:43as investigations into the disappearance of two-year-old Angelo Tobias Plaza intensified.
00:49We have been conducting investigation throughout this entire period. The inquiry, as you know,
00:57is a very sensitive one. It not only involves a missing person. The missing person is a child,
01:04two years old. Consideration has to be taken of his welfare, parental responsibility,
01:12and the constitutional rights of individuals. Police also confirmed that Commissioner of Police,
01:18Alistair Guevara, has directed additional resources to the investigation, including support
01:24for the Child Protection Unit and the assignment of a legal officer from Trinidad. The TTBS says
01:32extensive searches have been conducted around the child's home and the nearby coastal areas where
01:38he was last reportedly seen. Officers have also interviewed several individuals and recorded
01:44multiple statements as part of the ongoing investigation. Police say the matter remains a missing person
01:52investigation, but the Homicide Bureau and the Special Victims Department have both been engaged
01:58to support inquiries and ensure all investigative avenues are explored. Investigators say they are taking
02:06what they describe as a wide, methodical and meticulous approach to the case, including examining issues surrounding parental responsibility. Police
02:18confirm the child's parents remain in custody,
02:21assisting investigators as inquiries continue. Authorities are also urging members of the public to avoid
02:28interfering with the investigation or circulating material that could compromise inquiries. The TTBS is appealing to anyone with information on
