00:00Search efforts for missing two-year-old Angelo Tobias Plaza shifted to the Studley Park dump
00:06on Sunday after investigators reportedly received information linked to a WhatsApp message
00:13suggesting the child may have been taken there. Police officers, emergency responders and the
00:19members of the hunter's search and rescue team spent hours combing sections of the dump as the
00:25investigation intensified. Meanwhile, Chief Secretary Fali Augustin in a social media post on Sunday
00:32said the disappearance has sparked outrage across Tobago. He said the island refuses to accept
00:38silence, excuses or indifference, adding that too many questions remain unanswered. Augustin praised
00:46members of the protective services, emergency responders, volunteers, villagers, fishermen and
00:52hunters who have joined the search effort over the past several days. But the Chief Secretary also
00:59raised concerns over what he described as inconsistencies surrounding the child's
01:05disappearance. In the post, Augustin called on the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, the Homicide
01:11Bureau, the Child Protection Unit and all relevant agencies to leave no stone unturned and thoroughly
01:20examine every lead connected to the investigation. He said if negligence or wrongdoing is uncovered,
01:28those responsible must be held accountable and urged anyone with information to cooperate fully
01:35with investigators. Augustin also said the case should serve as a reminder of society's responsibility
01:42to protect children, adding that Tobago would not normalize the disappearance of a child. Investigations
01:50and search operations are continuing. Elizabeth Williams, TV6 News.
