01:08China announced the preliminary agreements reached with the United States following President

01:12Donald Trump's visit. The Ministry of Commerce detailed that both parties agreed to establish

01:18an investment council and a trade council to negotiate reciprocal reductions in tariffs. Agreements

01:25in agriculture and aviation were also announced while negotiations on final details moved forward.

01:31The agreements are part of the dialogue table held by President Xi Jinping and Donald Trump,

01:36which various topics were discussed amid global tensions.

01:45In Spain, over 6,800,000 voters in the southern region of Andalusia are casting their ballots on Sunday

01:53to elect the new regional parliament. The 10,500 polling stations are habilited across the territory,

02:01open at 9 a.m. and are scheduled to close at 8 p.m. Andalusians are called to vote to

02:10elect the 109 deputies that make up

02:13the regional parliament with 55 seats needed to achieve an absolute majority. 369,000 new voters will exercise

02:21their right for the first time, with 302,000 casting their ballots from abroad. The ongoing election is the most

18:49Far-right Sao Paulo Governor Tarsisio Freitas has announced privatization plans for six parks by the end of 2026, and

18:56the mayor of Rio de Janeiro recently announced plans to privatize 26 parks.

19:01Supporters say that privatization makes management more efficient, but critics argue it is making them less democratic.

19:10The problems with parks that are turned over to the private sector is that they operate for profit.

19:16For this, they have to commercialize and sell the space in the park, be it for advertising or expensive restaurants

19:24and this leads to a gentrification of the park.

19:27In other words, in addition to losing some of its original characteristics as a place to relax and think, the

19:34fact that they charge for the activities that take place in the park makes it inaccessible for the lower income

19:40population.

19:45Recife's Jaqueira Park was privatized last year. Since then, the park has begun to fill up with expensive food kiosks

19:52and shops.

19:52The city's only public BMX bicycle race course was ripped down, along with several century-old trees, and replaced with

20:00a smaller parody to make way for a shopping mall-style food court.

20:34that the city has to offer, but to be able to change it to best suit their needs.
