Last night, Kyiv's skies were not dark. They were lit up — by drones, by missiles, by the longest, most sustained aerial barrage the Ukrainian capital has faced in four years of war.

This wasn't a raid. This was an onslaught.

Over 670 attack drones. 56 missiles — ballistic, aeroballistic, and cruise. And that was just the overnight wave. Since the previous midnight, Russia had launched more than 1,560 drones against Ukrainian cities and communities.

Air alerts across the country lasted for hours. For the people of Kyiv, there was no sleep last night.

On the ground - Footage of rubble, emergency lights, rescue workers.

In one Kyiv neighbourhood, a nine-story residential apartment building took a direct hit. An entire section — collapsed. Rescue teams moved in immediately, pulling survivors from the rubble through the night.
