00:00:27Out here, in the wild,
00:00:29nothing is given. Everything is earned. The land provides, but only if you
00:00:36respect it. My name is Cole Harrington and I've been hunting the western
00:00:41United States since I was a kid. My father taught me to hunt the right way,
00:00:46ethically, responsibly, with respect for the animals and the land. Hunting isn't
00:00:52about trophies. It's not about staged shots or glamorized kills like you see
00:00:58on other shows. It's about connection, to the land, to the wildlife, and to
00:01:03something primal deep inside us.
00:01:10Every hunt tells a story, and out here, nature writes the script. I take pride in
00:01:17being an ethical hunter, giving back to the wild that gives so much to me.
00:01:23This isn't just a sport, it's a way of life. And if you're here, watching, well you feel it too.
00:01:34This is Primal Instinct.

00:04:08Um, didn't think anybody would be out as far as I was, came around a bend and there he
00:04:14was barefoot, um, had his feet like buried in the dirt.
00:04:21And he called attention to me by saying, he saw me first, actually, when I went over to
00:04:26him, he said, um, he said, uh, are you deer hunting?
00:04:31And I thought, great.
00:04:33I, um, he's going to be some protester and it's going to be like a big, uh, pain in
00:04:39my ass, right.
00:04:39To get away from this guy.
00:04:41Uh, but I said, yeah, I am.
00:04:43And he said, uh, he said, that's good.
00:04:48Um, he said, did you find your balance?
00:04:53And I had no idea what he was talking about.
00:04:55Right.
00:04:55And, uh, I, I said, well, I don't know.
00:04:58Um, you know, I don't know.
00:05:01I guess everybody has their own idea of what balance is.
00:05:04Right.
00:05:04And he said, uh, he said the earth has a balance.
00:05:08And he said, um, if I'm going to be taking something from the earth, a deer, um, do I
00:05:16have a plan to pay it back?
00:05:18Right.
00:05:18Keep things balanced.
00:05:20Uh, he was out, he was doing something.
00:05:22I don't know what the term was earthing.
00:05:25I don't know.
00:05:26I'm making that up.
00:05:26Maybe he had his feet in the, in the soil.
00:05:29And he was saying that by his bare feet being buried in the dirt like that, he was, um,
00:05:34you know, he was connecting with earth again.
00:05:37Right.
00:05:37And he felt like I was also connecting with earth.
00:05:39If I, if I, as a hunter, I get a deer and I eat the meat, then I'm connecting with
00:05:43the
00:05:43earth.
00:05:44Right.
00:05:44But he said, uh, we all have to have a balance when we're out of here.
00:05:49Otherwise everything gets thrown off.
00:05:51And he asked if I, if I had figured out my balance yet.
00:05:55And I said, well, quite honestly, I, I don't really know how to answer that.
00:05:59So I asked him, uh, if he had any kind of, um, thoughts on what, you know, a hunter's
00:06:05balance would be.
00:06:07And he said, of course it was very, you know, out there, but essentially that he couldn't
00:06:13answer that because that's for every person to answer for themselves.
00:06:16Right.
00:06:16But he said, uh, if I was going to draw blood, um, from one of earth's creatures that I may
00:06:24have to be willing, uh, to eventually give my blood back right to the soil balance.
00:06:33And he asked if I had it figured out.
00:06:35And I said, no, I don't think anybody really can figure out their own mortality.
00:06:41You know, that's the whole point of living life is not knowing when it's going to end.
00:06:46Right.
00:06:46Um, and I don't find it scary.
00:06:48I think it's what makes it exciting.
00:06:51That's what makes the journey worth taking.
00:06:53Uh, but he just said, uh, he said, make sure that you always, always replace what you take
00:07:04and keep the balance, right?
00:07:06Don't take more than you give.
00:07:08Don't give more than you take.
00:07:11Uh, and I, we left each other there and I went on hunting and I ended up getting a deer
00:07:16that year and it was great.
00:07:17Uh, but I've always thought about that.
00:07:19It was interesting.
00:07:20You know, we probably live very, very different lives.
00:07:22I imagine he's probably the type that, uh, he may get teary eyed if somebody kills a spider.
00:07:28Right.
00:07:28Um, which is fine balance.
00:07:32There's going to be somebody like me out there.
00:07:33There's got to be somebody like him.
00:07:35Otherwise we just can't harmonize.
00:07:36Right.
00:07:37It's all about the balance.
00:07:56Jeremy, I don't know if you're going to be able to do a whole lot with this footage.
00:08:01Uh, I mean, as you'll see, as you go through this stuff, I don't have a whole lot.
00:08:06Uh, it's been a hell of a hunt.
00:08:08I, I spent nine days, uh, man, we didn't, we didn't come in to anything.
00:08:15Um, I thought maybe the snow and the weather would help drive them a little bit, but I
00:08:20don't know if, if it being a late season hunt, if maybe the early hunters got in here and
00:08:25pushed them out.
00:08:25I don't know if, if, uh, the fires that we had earlier did something.
00:08:30I don't know if there's a predator in the area or what, but, uh, I did all that scouting
00:08:34and we had our eyes on a couple of, a couple of good bucks and I didn't see them once,
00:08:40uh,
00:08:41once we finally got out here.
00:08:42So, uh, disheartening for sure.
00:08:44And I, and I don't know trying to end a season of a show here and I got, I got
00:08:51no deer in
00:08:52my hands.
00:08:57Um, I don't really know how to end this, right?
00:09:00I guess maybe your, your technical wizardry with the editing should maybe be able to do
00:09:07something.
00:09:07I don't know, or maybe we scrapped this whole final episode and you just do a, a highlight
00:09:13reel or something.
00:09:14Um, I don't know, man.
00:09:20I don't know.
00:09:22Beautiful country.
00:09:25Um, I had a lot of, a lot of time to just reflect and it was a great hunt.
00:09:32Um, you know, because everybody knows a hunt isn't about the kill, right?
00:09:36It'd be called killing.
00:09:37It wouldn't be called hunting.
00:09:38Um, and, uh, I just, uh, I had some time to, to spend thinking on things, kind of reconnecting,
00:09:50get everything, get everything, well, I mean, who am I kidding, man?
00:10:20Done.
00:10:23Um, and I'll send you what I got and I don't know.
00:10:26I'll try and film some kind of a promo here in a minute when I get my shit together.
00:10:30Cause I'm just not in the best mood.
00:10:35I want to say thanks to all my fans for keeping up with us throughout this first season of
00:10:40Primal Instinct.
00:10:42It's been a series of ups and downs.
00:10:44We've had some really, uh, incredible encounters, but it's been great.
00:10:48And it's very humbling for me to hop online and see how many of you are out there supporting
00:10:53our efforts and, uh, how many people we've got in the comment section and all the views.
00:10:57It's been wonderful.
00:10:58Um, I do appreciate you guys jumping into the comments and trying to fight the trolls that
00:11:03want to, uh, talk some, talk some smack to us, but, uh, just remember don't, don't feed
00:11:08the trolls.
00:11:08You're better than them.
00:11:10Uh, thank you to everybody.
00:11:11Who has been rocking the Primal Instinct merch.
00:11:14Uh, remember to keep tagging us and everything, uh, hit that hashtag Primal Instinct on all
00:11:19your posts.
00:11:20Um, you know, we'd love to see it and we'll, we'll pick some and we'll share them on the
00:11:23next show.
00:11:27I mean, you do this stuff for a living, right?
00:11:28Jeremy, you edit and you, you take footage and people are in and out of character and
00:11:33all that.
00:11:33And, uh, so you're used to this.
00:11:39I'm not.
00:11:39Uh, the whole point of this was so you'd see the real me and, and here I am faking these
00:11:44promos and, uh, actually in a little bit of a dark place.
00:11:55I guess there's a lot of people that can just turn their personality on and off, uh, for
00:12:02the camera, right?
00:12:04It's all what the camera sees.
00:12:07Whatever the audience sees is what they think is actually going on.
00:12:10And it's the behind the scenes stuff that, well, whatever, you don't, nobody needs to hear about
00:12:21my bullshit anymore.
00:12:23Jeremy, thank you.
00:12:24I'll send this to you.
00:12:25We'll get it cut and figure out what we can do with it.
00:12:28And I'm just ready to get warm.
00:12:30Uh, I'm ready to come back season two when the weather's better.
00:12:37I will get my head right, uh, when we come back.
00:12:42So I'm signing off, brother.
00:12:44I'm going to get out of here before the weather gets too bad.
00:12:46And, uh, I'm really, really sorry about this going on and on and on and on and on and on
00:12:53and on.
00:13:10It is peaceful out here.
00:13:14It is really starting to snow and, uh, I should probably get out of here before I freeze to death
00:13:22because the rest of my good gear is back at the truck and I walked up to this pretty spot
00:13:29so I could film this promo and, uh, I'm starting to get pretty chilly.
00:13:35I don't think anybody gives a shit about me being cold.
00:13:42I don't know.
00:13:42Maybe you do.
00:13:43I guess maybe that's what reality television is, right?
00:13:46I'm having a hard time adjusting to all of this stuff because
00:13:51I'm used to just
00:13:54looking at everything through a riflescope.
00:13:56Now I'm, I'm out here, uh,
00:14:01vlogging,
00:14:02which is
00:14:04not a term I expected
00:14:06to be, uh, really privy with
00:14:08and something I'd be doing much of.
00:14:10But, hey, look, here we are.
00:14:14140-something thousand people later
00:14:17following our exploits.
00:14:19I guess we're doing something right, huh?
00:14:49What's up, ladies?
00:14:58What's up, ladies?
00:15:07All right.
00:15:08Yes, sir.
00:15:09Cool.
00:15:10Nice to meet you.
00:15:10Nice to meet you.
00:15:11Hey, so, uh, I take you're the one who sent the email about the mountain lion?
00:15:14Yeah.
00:15:15Yes, sir.
00:15:15All right.
00:15:16Um, you want to show me the, the livestock or?
00:15:20Uh, well, it's not here at this, this is my main property here.
00:15:23Okay.
00:15:24Um, it's a little ways that it's, it's a long ways out.
00:15:27Okay.
00:15:27Um, so I'm going to take you over there.
00:15:29And if you're up for a long drive.
00:15:31Yeah, no, it's fine.
00:15:32Uh, honestly, I appreciate it.
00:15:34I, I need the content for the channel anyway.
00:15:36Um, and, and getting to go after maybe a problem mountain lion
00:15:40would kind of be good for my viewers, you know?
00:15:43So.
00:15:43Yeah.
00:15:43Uh, I appreciate it.
00:15:44Um, God, it's a lot busier here than it ever used to be as freaking traffic.
00:15:48I would have been here a lot earlier, but.
00:15:51Yeah, this, you know, this casino owner puts in this parkway,
00:15:57you know, for all the subdivisions that are going in up there.
00:16:00It's, you know, this is what it is.
00:16:03I know.
00:16:04Or you keep encroaching further and further out.
00:16:07That sounds good.
00:16:09Um, I mean, how far are we talking?
00:16:10A couple hour drive or?
00:16:12Yeah, it's about four and a half, five hours.
00:16:14Okay.
00:16:14Good ways out there.
00:16:16All right.
00:16:16Uh, Lawton, kind of Lawton basin area.
00:16:20Yeah.
00:16:20Yeah.
00:16:21Right, right around there.
00:16:22Um, and you know, um, like I said in the email, I'm a fan of the show.
00:16:26Yeah.
00:16:27You know, truly.
00:16:28I appreciate it.
00:16:28Yeah.
00:16:29Um, just when we get out there, can you please just do me a favor and try not to film
00:16:33too
00:16:34much of my property?
00:16:35You know, uh, you're, you're a married man, you know, um, I'm sure the last thing you want
00:16:40is for your family and everything to be all over the internet.
00:16:42So I'm a bit of a private guy.
00:16:43So if we can just try and, you know, keep it a little bit private, I'd appreciate it.
00:16:48Yeah.
00:16:48Yeah.
00:16:48I totally understand.
00:16:49Honestly, this thing, I, uh, I'm not married anymore.
00:16:54I just haven't really had the guts to take the ring off yet.
00:16:56And, uh, you know how it goes.
00:17:00If I could find a way to get this one off, it'd be off so fast and make your head
00:17:04spin.
00:17:05Uh, if you've got those, uh, those photos that you emailed over with the animals or whatever,
00:17:11if you've got them maybe in like a little higher definition, um, it's for the channel.
00:17:16It's like everybody complains about the quality of everything.
00:17:18So maybe I'll shoot you my email.
00:17:20Uh, and we can get those, um, you know, the, the ones you sent with the, the dead elk
00:17:25and the cows and everything.
00:17:26So yeah, for sure.
00:17:27I can, I can text those over to you, email them to you, whatever you need.
00:17:31Yeah.
00:17:31Okay.
00:17:31Well that works.
00:17:32Um, sweet.
00:17:33Well, it sounds like we had a long ass drive, so let's, uh, let's get out of here.
00:17:37Huh?
00:17:37Yes, sir.
00:17:38All right.
00:17:38Thanks.
00:17:57Bye.
00:17:58Bye.
00:18:34Bye.
00:19:10So, all that back there, um, that's pretty much where we're going to be headed into.
00:19:17It's, it's hilly country.
00:19:19It's rocky country.
00:19:20It's where big cats like to hang out.
00:19:21So that's where we're going to go kind of scout today.
00:19:24Uh, as you'll notice, I got no rifle on me.
00:19:29Um, that's because we actually have not been issued a permit yet.
00:19:33We applied for a depredation permit based on the ranchers, um, you know, claims of, of
00:19:40livestock being taken, but state hasn't issued one yet.
00:19:43So I can't actually legally be out there hunting yet.
00:19:47Um, because we're not permitted, but, uh, I got to do this thing legal.
00:19:51You know what I mean?
00:19:52That's kind of been like the entire premise of the show, right?
00:19:55Is, is, uh, doing things the right way.
00:19:57Um, but, uh, I have never been one to do things the stupid way.
00:20:03So we're absolutely, um, not going in, uh, completely empty handed.
00:20:12So one of the big complaints that I had from the first season was, uh, trying to self film
00:20:21everything was a huge pain in the ass.
00:20:25And, uh, now I have upgraded to a very cool POV body cam.
00:20:34So now we'll be able to get some really epic stuff.
00:20:39Love that.
00:20:40Hands free, baby.
00:20:52Sometimes this place just feels like it was forgotten by time, you know?
00:21:17I think one of the more impressive things with the big cats is, uh, I think one of the more
00:21:25of how incredibly strong they are, even when they don't look it, even a small, a small mountain lion,
00:21:31you know, around 70, 80 pounds can hoist triple its body weight straight up, up into these rocks, up a
00:21:40tree,
00:21:41hauling off, you know, calves and young cattle.
00:21:44Um, it's not out of the realm of possibility at all.
00:21:49So I'm going to go a little further in and see if I can locate a den or something.
00:21:53Might be a good indicator, uh, where they're hanging out.
00:21:56So stay tuned.
00:22:17You guys gotta see this.
00:22:20This is interesting.
00:22:33Looks like it's dead.
00:22:36Not that it's out of the ordinary to find stuff like this out in the desert, but we are way,
00:22:44way out here.
00:22:45So, uh, to be honest, I'm a little surprised.
00:22:51You know, a lot of hunters, they, they go way up into these rocks and stuff and they,
00:22:55they misjudge everything and, uh, and they fall.
00:22:59So we'll take this with us.
00:23:01See if, uh, we can't get it charged up and see what's on it.
00:23:24Uh, huh.
00:23:45one of the more concerning things about this actually is that uh this is a new phone i've
00:23:51got the same charging port on my phone and i've got a charger back of the truck so i can
00:23:57get this
00:23:57thing going um it did not take much weather damage i mean the screen's cracked a little bit
00:24:01but uh when i hit the power button it actually is giving me an indicator to plug it in so
00:24:06there's
00:24:06still electronics working reason i've got a little cause for alarm is uh university in nevada reno
00:24:13had two anthropologists that went missing just a few weeks ago and it's not far from this area that
00:24:21a lot of people speculated they were there was there was some talk that maybe uh because they
00:24:26we're a romantic couple that um the boyfriend may have been a suspect but anybody that spent any
00:24:33time up here knows how dangerous it is and you can go up too high take a spill and fall
00:24:39into a crevice
00:24:40uh real easy nobody would ever find you plus there's mine shafts all over in this area uh people
00:24:45go down there all the time kind of heating the warnings and uh they don't come back out uh so
00:24:53this makes me think that uh we could potentially be onto something and depending on what's on this
00:24:59i may be since i'm out here right i might abandon this whole lion thing and go on more of
00:25:06a
00:25:07search and rescue mission so yeah just letting you know jeremy when you get all this footage i have no
00:25:15idea what is gonna be on this by the time it's done but uh this could be for some pretty
00:25:20compelling
00:25:20television so stay tuned
00:25:59i'm gonna get him this time again oh yeah you know i'm not giving up till i catch at least
00:26:04one
00:26:04lizard on this trip
00:26:09these guys are fast
00:26:11well i guess we answered the question who's faster than a lizard not like the western fence
00:26:16lizards back home good try though better luck next time
00:26:23what'd you say about the moss again that's not moss it's lichens
00:26:28it's like it well i was saying that it's got great incredible air quality up here for these to be
00:26:37able
00:26:37to grow
00:26:41they only grow in good quality air
00:26:42you know for someone so worried about inner office romance
00:26:47you sure are getting a lot of it on camera
00:26:49oh hey uh
00:26:51come on it's just you know what's the university gonna think
00:26:56who cares what a bunch of old fuddy duddies
00:26:58in an air conditioned office are gonna think
00:27:03well it's more than just old fuddy duddies and our relationship if we had one
00:27:09it's more
00:27:11you know my career
00:27:12this research
00:27:14if we don't do it correctly
00:27:16if we're wrong about the theory
00:27:18well then everything could go up into smoke
00:27:22you know you're always so worried about what could go wrong
00:27:25you ever consider what could go right
00:27:30go on take a break
00:27:35yeah
00:27:40mind holding this one
00:27:41absolutely
00:27:54come on
00:27:55i'm supposed to be getting landscape
00:27:59oh right right right
00:28:01i did a research trip after all
00:28:03sure sure right
00:28:05well you're right i mean it is
00:28:09you're enjoying the adventure
00:28:10you know with you
00:28:20i just
00:28:21i don't want to lose all this
00:28:24you know
00:28:25you know there's been plenty of
00:28:35that wasn't the word quite i was looking for but yes there's been
00:28:37lots of
00:28:40archaeological
00:28:43couples and
00:28:44what about those ghost hunters that were married
00:28:48okay ghost hunting and anthropology are not even in the same realm
00:28:54one is a science and the other is debunked theory after debunked theory after debunked theory
00:29:00i mean come on
00:29:01i just i just want our colleagues and the other professors at the university to take me seriously
00:29:08to take us seriously
00:29:10well i mean
00:29:11with everything we might find out here
00:29:15i think they will take us seriously
00:29:16we can get that paper
00:29:18turned in
00:29:20i mean some of what we're finding out here is pretty groundbreaking
00:29:25you know if we go down for this i'm blaming you
00:29:27worth it
00:29:34ah i sure do check this out
00:29:38oh that's so exciting
00:29:40what you got
00:29:48an arrowhead
00:29:51look how it's so carefully made
00:29:54look it's got fluting
00:29:55oh my god it's got fluting
00:29:58you know if you stare at that any harder it's gonna burst into flames
00:30:01oh come on i mean fluting wasn't originally found until around 11 000 years ago
00:30:08so if this is 20 30 000 years according to the rings that are left here from the sandstone
00:30:13then this could really short my theories on whether that
00:30:18you know shelter shelter way before we ever thought possible
00:30:23given some of the formations around here it makes me wonder if we
00:30:27you know maybe the ice age was a little different around here
00:30:29i wonder if early man around here went underground
00:30:33instead of just wandering
00:30:35i mean think about it the ice age wouldn't have just been about surviving the cold and surviving the fauna
00:30:40and flora
00:30:40it was it was survival in general uh from extreme hunger from weather weather phenomena
00:30:48i mean could you imagine if it wasn't just finding shelter in caves but structured homes
00:30:54like long-term survival
00:30:59exactly
00:31:01if we're right about this this could change everything for us micah
00:31:07you know i really love seeing you like this
00:31:10like what
00:31:12oh you come so alive when you're discovering new things and getting to talk about your theories and your papers
00:31:22come on be professional micah oh oh right the arrowhead right yes the arrowhead
00:31:31i mean look it's not even made of the same sandstone rocks that are found around here they
00:31:36would have had to have traveled miles and miles to bring this here
00:31:40that's true i wonder what else we can find around here
00:31:43yeah maybe there's some evidence of agricultural work oh that would be incredible
00:32:04oh remind me to get this in a specimen box whenever we get back it belongs in a museum
00:32:10what i like that movie oh crap oh well don't get don't walk up to it people are sick look
00:32:20this isn't
00:32:21what kind of nonsense is this weird and disgusting is what it is yeah weird and disgusting is right
00:32:31and fresh someone recently did this well it's obviously not real obviously not ancient
00:32:39obviously disgusting what's that song teenagers scare the living out of me
00:32:45it's a good point probably teenagers probably drunk college kids by like gar
00:32:50look at that freaking pile of beer cans over there
00:33:08all right miss skeptical oh come on you know that nothing pisses me off more than fake science
00:33:21so well i didn't catch a live lizard but i guess technically speaking i didn't catch a reptile
00:33:28what did you call me oh please
00:33:33i'm surprised you didn't keep that safe huh yeah yeah we'll go with that definitely not in my backpack
00:33:41you did you know i did you know it's the fact that i know you did that just ah you're
00:33:49that hungry
00:33:51you know lunch didn't sound like too bad of an idea i need to remember to start packing better
00:33:55rations if that's the case yeah i can't live off granola bars and trail mix excuse me those mres
00:34:01were perfectly sawdust serviceable yeah you know if i could find a rock or something hey that just
00:34:08helps you digest it put some hair on your chest all right i'm not the one that needs hair on
00:34:16his chest
00:34:17you would know
00:34:18at least it's a good day for this yep hey micah check it out sagebrush
00:34:33wow sagebrush wow you're killing me anna
00:34:41hey at least i didn't say vertical log again
00:34:48you're adorable when you're ridiculous you know that oh come on you're impossible you like it
00:34:57it's the only reason i could think you'd be out here in the middle of nowhere with me
00:35:00middle of nowhere indeed
00:35:09and put that right there now you have some flowers behind your ear oh thank you
00:35:16now i can see you from anywhere i think maybe we should have brought the orange tent
00:35:26i know this should be fine
00:35:30i think i see a spot we can clear off
00:35:34sounds good to me high ground high ground we'll set up set up camp over there all right
00:35:40come on check it out we've got two different species here i'm really liking what i'm seeing
00:35:50oh my god it's a shame we can't cultivate it imagine the beautiful portraits you can make with
00:35:59these if you could you know i never considered that right
00:36:04funny i didn't think the species grew here on the west coast
00:36:08oh might as well get moving again
00:36:13oh great now we're getting stalked by coyote noises and we're
00:36:18wrestling outside of the tent in the smallest that you could find you told me to be economical about
00:36:24this being economical about it and then there's this it's just wild animals goodness gracious oh and
00:36:31that's supposed to make me feel better whenever we don't have anything to get rid of the wild animals
00:36:37all right i'll get them out of here
00:36:41they're full moon tonight they're active oh please you know that's not really
00:36:48just keeping you on your toes more like on my ass
00:36:53well this turns out to be false i'll be putting you on that in a minute
00:37:13oh
00:37:15oh you jerk
00:37:22what i'm cowpocalypse i'm here to haunt you
00:37:26where did you get that
00:37:30what it was just outside what do you mean it was just outside it was just outside the tent like
00:37:36five feet away we cleared this entire site what do you mean it was just five feet away
00:37:41it was just five feet i'm sure something just dragged it over here what would drag over a
00:37:47completely dry casco i'll be right back don't go out there we got to get it away from the tent
00:37:57oh god
00:38:02stay put i will be right back
00:38:06it better be
00:38:35mic up
00:38:39oh my god
00:39:07oh my god
00:39:32micah it's not funny look now you've completely ruined the tent
00:39:43so you've ruined the tent for a cow joke
00:39:48micah that's not funny anymore stop it
00:39:50micah
00:39:55oh my god
00:40:00oh my god
00:40:10oh my god
00:40:20oh my god
00:40:21oh my god
00:40:26oh my god
00:41:09Very, very active mine community.
00:41:14What do we have here?
00:41:17And...
00:41:30So, he got a clean cut on the neck there.
00:41:37That's a paw.
00:41:39Clearly the work of poachers.
00:41:44That's a bear, alright.
00:41:48We don't even have black bears this far out into the desert.
00:41:51So, somebody hauled it up here clearly.
00:41:54And dumped it.
00:41:56But that's definitely not an animal.
00:41:59That is clear as day.
00:42:01Somebody cut that.
00:42:03It's a really sharp instrument.
00:42:05You can see.
00:42:06Sawed it right off.
00:42:08Took the paw.
00:42:12This shit makes me sick.
00:42:17Guys like me, the true hunters, we've been anti-poacher, you know, since our upbringing.
00:42:29Because this is the kind of shit that people who aren't hunters, they get it confused with.
00:42:33And they think that, you know, this is what guys like me do.
00:42:37This is absolutely not.
00:42:38This is what guys like me want to fight against.
00:42:43What a shame.
00:43:10There's one thing about Nevada.
00:43:15It can be really, really cold in the mornings.
00:43:18And then it can get really, really hot in the afternoons.
00:43:26Well, that's not an interesting structure there.
00:43:34I've seen a lot of things while I've been out here.
00:43:38But I can 100% say I have never seen whatever the hell this is supposed to be.
00:43:54Oh, shit.
00:43:58Now, if I'm not mistaken, that's a human skull.
00:44:10Well, Jeremy, I don't know if we ever thought we'd have something like this to put on camera.
00:44:18But it's too interesting to not include.
00:44:25There's a pretty big population of Native Americans up here.
00:44:29And I would imagine, you know, maybe this is some kind of a burial site.
00:44:35I know it's probably jarring to viewers that there's human remains hanging from it.
00:44:40But many of the different cultures around here, they have different ways of kind of honoring their dead.
00:44:46So, you know, who am I to judge, right?
00:44:50Not that I'm not going to call this in because local law enforcement may not know about this one, especially
00:44:59since we're so far out here.
00:45:03I may have to get a hold of that rancher too and let him know because he may have tribe
00:45:09squatting on his place.
00:45:10I don't know.
00:45:11Maybe he knows about this.
00:45:13I would assume he wouldn't be hanging human body parts from a totem structure.
00:45:18But, you know, again, well, our journey continues and we will let whatever that is remain in solitude.
00:46:05Well, this is definitely where I think somebody might be if they did somehow survive.
00:46:24Okay.
00:46:25Oh.
00:46:28Okay.
00:46:35Okay.
00:46:38Well, here it goes nothing.
00:46:42Oh.
00:46:43Oh.
00:46:43Oh.
00:46:44Oh.
00:46:45Oh.
00:47:06Oh shit.
00:47:35I don't know.
00:47:58I can't believe it.
00:48:13Oh, well, people definitely been in here before, because that's not natural mind stuff.
00:48:23Oh, damn.
00:48:25Okay.
00:48:59Ma'am?
00:49:06Hello?
00:49:07Hello?
00:49:17Ma'am?
00:49:27Okay.
00:49:40Oh, shit.
00:49:43Oh, shit.
00:49:45Okay.
00:50:00Okay.
00:50:01Okay.
00:50:03Oh, shit.
00:50:09Okay.
00:50:11Okay.
00:50:14Okay.
00:50:29Oh.
00:50:30Oh.
00:50:36Okay.
00:50:37Okay.
00:51:01So, I got up high enough, get a little bit of service, contacted Lahontan Sheriff.
00:51:07There's no way they're going to be able to send anybody out.
00:51:09We're way too far out, and they're way too understaffed.
00:51:14So, the plan is, they want to come take a look at the human remains tomorrow.
00:51:18They're asking me not to touch it, obviously.
00:51:24They asked if I'd be willing to just stay up here overnight, which is fine, because quite honestly,
00:51:30if that cat did this, we got a man-eater in our hands, and he's going to come back at
00:51:36night.
00:51:36So, it's going to give me at least an opportunity to see if he's coming and going from that mine.
00:51:45Yeah, so anyway, the plan is, I'm going to stay up here tonight.
00:51:50Just kind of keep watch.
00:51:52If it is, in fact, that cat, I'll get out of here.
00:51:56I'll go get all my stuff to be prepared for a real hunt, and we'll come back out here, and
00:52:02we'll take him down.
00:52:05If he's coming in out of there, it's a den, so there's no way he's going to abandon it at
00:52:08this point,
00:52:09especially if it's taking food in there.
00:52:11So, stay tuned.
00:52:13So, stay tuned.
00:52:13So, stay tuned.
00:52:15So, stay tuned.
00:52:43But, I can't say this.
00:52:45If this ends up turning into a missing persons episode, we're going to have a hit on our hands.
00:52:54Especially if I can find him up here alive.
00:53:26So,
00:53:29I know they said not to go in and disturb any of the remains or anything, and I'm not,
00:53:34but that cell phone footage has a girl and a guy,
00:53:41and there's no way that that foot belonged to that guy.
00:53:46And I just feel like it wouldn't be me if I didn't at least take one more look through there,
00:53:52see if I can't locate him.
00:53:56You know, and then tomorrow I'll let the sheriff's office do their thing.
00:54:00But, I'm going to take one more quick walk through there.
00:54:04But, I'm going to go hands free, so I'm going to put my helmet rig on.
00:54:08And, we'll see what we can find.
00:54:10If anything, at least all know, you know, that I gave it my best shot here.
00:54:17So, especially if the guy's still alive in there, there's no way I'm going to be able to live with
00:54:20myself if I don't go check.
00:54:22So, wish me luck.
00:54:23So, if anything, at least I'm going to be able to live with myself.
00:54:53So, if anything, at least I'm going to be able to live with myself.
00:55:50So, if anything, at least I can't sleep out.
00:56:04Oh, my God.
00:56:34Oh, man.
00:56:39I'm going to have to.
00:56:55Oh, my God.
00:57:14Oh, my God.
00:57:42Oh, my God.

01:01:26Oh, my God.
01:01:30Oh, my God.
01:01:39Oh, my God.
01:02:04Oh, my God.
01:02:08Oh, my God.
01:02:15Oh, my God.
01:02:50Oh, my God.
01:03:14Oh, my God.
01:03:23Oh, my God.
01:03:37Oh, my God.
01:03:45Oh, my God.
01:03:54Oh, my God.
