U.S. President Donald Trump sparked headlines after making a striking on-camera remark about espionage during a tense exchange with reporters following his China visit. Referring to growing intelligence concerns between Washington and Beijing, Trump admitted that nations “spy like hell” on each other while discussing alleged Chinese espionage activities targeting the United States. The dramatic moment came amid heightened scrutiny over U.S.-China relations, surveillance fears, and diplomatic tensions after reports that American officials discarded Chinese-issued items over security concerns.

00:00You talked a little bit about the cyber attacks that he's done in the United States or the MSS.
00:04I did, and he talked about attacks that we did in China.
00:08You know, what they do, we do too.
00:10It's like the spying. They're talking about, oh, the spying.
00:13I said, well, we do it too.
00:15The spying is important for the infrastructure.
00:16Look, no, I'm talking about spying.
00:18I think the question was asked to me yesterday, I guess,
00:22what about the fact that China's spying in the United States?
00:25I said, well, it's one of those things because we spy like hell on them too.
00:29What about the fact that China is putting in the U.S. infrastructure code that they could use if you
00:36ever decided to come to the United States?
00:37Well, you don't know that. I mean, I'd like to see it, but it's very possible that they do.
00:42And we're doing things to them.
00:44I told them we do a lot of stuff to you that you don't know about,
00:47and you're doing things to us that we probably do know about.
00:50But we do plenty. It's a double-exion.
00:53I said, again, on presidency, a couple of years ago when President Biden met him in San Francisco,
00:58he was asked if he thought President Xi was a dictator.
01:02Do you think President Xi is a dictator?
01:04No, I think that President Biden was an incompetent president.
01:08He gave us the Iran nuclear deal, which allowed Iran to have a nuclear weapon within a matter of years
01:14from the time they said,
01:15I terminated it.
01:17If I didn't terminate that, Iran would have a nuclear weapon,
01:20then they would have used it within probably two years ago, three years ago.
01:23If I didn't go in with the B-2 bombers nine months ago,
01:27Iran would have a nuclear weapon, and nobody would be able to talk to him.
01:30By the way, they would have used it already.
01:32Do you think President Xi is a dictator or not?
01:35I don't think about it.
01:37He's the ruler. He's the president of China.
01:41I don't think about it.
01:43You deal with what you have.
01:45I respect him. He's very smart.
01:47He loves his country. I respect him.
01:49Whether he's a dictator, that's for you to figure out.
01:52You said you didn't talk about tariffs, but did you talk about fentanyl at all?
01:56Yeah, I talked about fentanyl.
01:58As you know, I put a tariff on because of fentanyl, and they discussed that.
02:03But I put a penalty.
02:05It's a penalty. A lot of money we take in because of that.
02:08I prefer not taking it, and I prefer that we don't have.
02:11But we did talk about fentanyl.
02:12What about the agreement?
02:13Well, you know, the fentanyl is down, way down from where it was.
02:17And it could be because of the tariff penalty.
02:20Sergeant, domestic issue, if I could.
02:22Where are you on the Texas Senate race?
02:24Well, I'll maybe make a decision.
02:26I know them both very well.
02:28I like them both a lot.
02:31And, you know, my record of endorsements is extraordinary.
02:34You look at what happened with Indiana.
02:37And out of all those races, the one that won was, there were three Trump people in the race.
02:43If they had won, he would have won in a landslide.
02:45But I took out all of these candidates.
02:49You know, long-time candidates with big leads against people that never ran before.
02:55And the people that never ran before won virtually all the races.
02:59And, as you know, two nights ago, I won every single endorsement.
03:04A week ago, before that, I won every single endorsement.
03:09There's never been a record of endorsements like this, which is a great honor as far as I'm concerned.
03:13But you might not endorse it.
03:14No, MAGA is a movement the likes of which our country has never seen before.
03:18But you might not endorse, sir, in Texas.
03:21I don't want to say that.
03:22I mean, I'm looking at it first.
03:23I like them both.
03:25I mean, I'll tell you what I do think.
03:26I think the Democrats have a weird, a weird candidate.
03:32Six genders.
03:34A real hit on Jesus.
03:36I mean, this guy, his man, with his mask from relatively recently, and he's a vegan, he's a vegan, all
03:45of a sudden he's not a vegan.
03:46He was a vegan, now all of a sudden he's not.
03:48Texas doesn't like vegans.
03:50I do believe either one of them will easily win the race.
03:54I think that the candidate the Democrats have in Texas is a very flawed, very weak, very, I think he's
04:02a pathetic candidate, especially for Texas.
04:06Did you see Secretary Rubio in the briefing room the other day, and what did you think?
04:11Are you talking about his outfit?
04:13Yeah, that's it.
04:15I thought he looked very good in the outfits, but I said, I don't know if I'd do it, but
04:19I thought he looked very good.
04:21I think he's outstanding.
04:22I thought he was good.
04:23I mean, I saw every word of it.
04:35You know, why are we going to talk to you all of their characters in Texas?
04:37You've got to ask him to take any questions.
04:37You know, those are the todas the semaines.
