00:00stewardship is an important theme within the sheridan verse as a lead and ep did you feel a
00:06responsibility to take care of your new co-stars absolutely um i felt um a responsibility to take
00:15care of um just not only my character um i've played her for since 2017 so she is very close
00:25to my heart um protecting the things that are important about her but also trying to keep an
00:32open mind and heart about who she could be in these new areas of her life that she's exploring
00:37who am i without my father who am i not fighting everybody who what does she want um and then
00:45pluck her and put her into a a new land a new universe where there is another there's a new
00:50queen
00:51and um and having to fix him but yeah i i i felt like i wanted everyone to have a
00:57voice so i felt
00:58very sure that i wanted like we're so lucky to have such incredible actors annette coming on for me
01:05just made us feel like we were legit like it was like elevated immediately by just having her with
01:11us and ed harris the same um i mean you guys are legends and masters at what they do so
01:18it it was
01:19such an honor for cole and i to have them come on board so it just made me it made
01:24me care even
01:25more about what we what stories we were telling and these women so yeah i i did feel a responsibility
01:30across the board i think what you just raised about about cole and kelly being executive producers
01:36means a lot to me because i did feel i mean it's i think it's part of what made yellowstone
01:43what it was
01:44was these kinds of actors who can um really have a sense of the entire story and the entire narrative
01:51which is what we all try to do but as executive producers they really did have that kind of eye
01:58and we're able to work are able to work together very well you know not obviously on screen we know
02:04that but i i saw them off screen as well so i very much experienced that and appreciated that
02:09and uh yeah it's it's anytime a relationship has two sides like i think between these two women
02:18there's so much admiration there's there's also a suspicion there's also um attraction there's also
02:26jealousy there's that it's all there it's it's like what you said it's almost like when you look
02:31for for beulah i think what she sees in beth is maybe something that she also doesn't have anymore
02:40that she wishes that she had and all of that is um is is bubbling inside and uh so it's
02:49it's
02:49competitiveness but it's also um like incredible admiration both and it grows the admiration and
02:57respect grows exactly and as we begin to begin to need each other more and need what the other one
03:03has from a business standpoint too that all becomes um more and more juicy yeah we get to see them
03:09maybe work together and that's when you really start to kind of like power up
