00:00And he's done it! Amol Randawa has just run the length of England. At the end
00:11however there were no medals or glory, just the incredible feeling of giving
00:17back to a hospice that's done so much for him. Amol's journey has taken him from
00:24Berwick upon Tweed all the way to Land's End in Cornwall. Imagine running this
00:31distance in just two weeks! But thankfully Amol wasn't alone on his
00:37journey as he had friends and family by his side. He's been struggling literally
00:44fighting every day to run on average about 70 kilometres a day with no no
00:51days break and he's actually on the final day today which has pushed him
00:56over into 14 days just because he's been a bit slower on the last few days. His
01:01body is literally giving up on him so he's been absolutely superhuman. A Just
01:08Giving page has also been sat up and Amol has already raised over 70% of his
01:15£40,000 target. Just to put that into context £30,000 could pay for 300 hours of
01:23specialist care for patients and families when they need us the most so we're
01:27blown away by Amol and I think he's our highest fundraiser so far this year with
01:33this kind of challenge event so it's just phenomenal. His journey may be over but
01:39it's impact will have a profound impact on those here in the county. Henry Luck for
