00:00Whether you think the sort of competition we're seeing on the issue of AI resembles a modern-day version of
00:07the Cold War arms race?
00:09I think it's actually completely different than the Cold War arms race.
00:13Just to use a figure, over 600 million Chinese use AI right now.
00:18This is a huge market.
00:20It's also a huge potential weakness for the Chinese if they don't get access to the most advanced AI technology,
00:26which the U.S. has.
00:28So I see the Chinese as very interested in getting the top-level AI technology that the U.S., particularly
00:35NVIDIA, whose chairman, Jensen Huang, was a last-minute add to the Strip.
00:40I think that is an area where the U.S. has leverage with China.
00:44China wants that AI technology, but the U.S. also wants other trade deals, such as Boeing aircraft, such as
00:54access to soybeans.
00:55But I think all of these trade issues will be resolved tomorrow, and you'll get some announcements of some big
01:01deals.
01:02But the real question is, does the United States, does President Trump give in on Taiwan in order to try
01:08and get Chinese trade deals?
