00:00I remember being that player that had all these other kind of skill sets right
00:05and so I modeled and I walked New York Fashion Week when I was 14 and then I
00:14stopped modeling and just strictly was playing sports because my mom said that
00:18you know she couldn't afford for me to go to college and so I had to really
00:21focus in on my academics in basketball because I was gonna get a scholarship and
00:24I did but I always wanted to like Victoria's Secret I wanted to walk I
00:31wanted to do all these other things and I knew that brands I knew that other
00:37media outlets weren't giving us the attention we needed because I knew if
00:41they just showed our game that's what you connect to and to now see the ladies even
00:46take it a step further they're at another level they're running their brands in
00:52their companies in a way that is only going to make it better for the whole
00:56ecosystem because now they're allowed to be their authentic self and their
01:01authentic self means they're a hell of a basketball player and they're gonna
01:04compete when and get better but they also can step out at the Met they also can
01:08have a brand deal they also can have a company and nonprofits and I think all of
01:14the women across the board are taking advantage of that and that's what makes
01:16me kind of tear up is that the opportunity is now there and they're
01:20overseas in the moment
