00:00Today on Media Miss Minute, Israel's Prime Minister says his country is ready to move away from U.S. military
00:06aid.
00:07And White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles says she wants to put a stop to leaks, according to an
00:14email that was, well, leaked.
00:19I'm Craig DeGrelli. In today's Media Miss Minute, we're looking at two stories that are being missed by the partisan
00:25media outlets,
00:26starting with what the left is missing. Israel has long relied on American support,
00:31but now Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that need is changing.
00:35In an interview with CBS, Netanyahu said he wants to phase out close to $4 billion in annual U.S.
00:44military aid.
00:44We receive $3.8 billion a year, and I think that it's time that we weaned ourselves from the remaining
00:53military support.
00:55He says that process should begin now and happen over the next decade.
00:59On to the right and what they're missing, a crackdown on leaks inside the Trump White House.
01:05Chief of Staff Susie Wiles warned staff in a leaked email that unauthorized disclosures will not be tolerated.
01:12She said those who violate the policy could face discipline, including termination.
01:17It's unclear who leaked the message.
01:19A White House spokesperson backed the policy, saying there's zero tolerance for speaking to the media without approval.
