01:24Mickey D comes to play.
01:26That Ducati's got punch.
01:27Wow, look at that shot.
01:28Where the hell do you get that?
01:30Oh, there's five of them in it now.
01:32Cheers all round.
01:33He's the man, isn't he?
01:34Michael Dunlop does it again.
01:36And it is a wonderful day out for everybody here on the North Coast.
01:40Wow.
01:41Well, there's something quite fitting about starting here
01:44because these incredible hexagonal stone formations
01:48were forged by volcanic fury and shaped over millions of years.
01:54And this week, just along the coast,
01:56road racers will draw their own lines of speeds at over 200 miles per hour.
02:00So one carved by nature, the other carved by speed.
02:11The challenge of the Northwest is truly unique.
02:14And for nearly a century, the biggest names of the sport have come here to push limits.
02:23So from this geological marvel to the closed road circuit around the corner,
02:29this place is truly magical.
02:34Welcome to our first Highlights Programme from the 2026 Briggs Equipment Northwest 200.
02:41Now, to many, Northern Ireland is simply the home of pure motorcycle road racing.
02:46It is part of our sporting DNA.
02:49And the Northwest 200 helps keep that legacy alive.
02:53The country's largest sporting event is watched by millions of people around the globe.
02:58And again, the world's leading riders are here.
03:04The Northwest 200 transforms almost nine miles of public roads
03:09into a spectacular circuit which always provides brilliant racing.
03:17The course is known as the Triangle for its shape, fast-flowing and unmistakable.
03:23It's long, sweeping straights link the towns of Port Stewart, Coleraine and Port Rush,
03:30creating one of the quickest road racing layouts anywhere.
03:35Station Corner is one of its defining features.
03:39Ultra-fast and never taken lightly.
03:43Slip streaming plays a huge part here.
03:46Timing it right can be the difference between winning and losing.
03:51The lap ends under a railway bridge
03:53and then along the famous coast road
03:56with races often decided in the final chicane.
04:06Well, welcome to the grid for the main race day.
04:10The roads are closed and we're almost ready to go racing.
04:13Normally, we would have had three races by now,
04:16but unfortunately, the racing on Thursday night was cancelled
04:19after a fatality during practice.
04:22Sadly, Czech rider, the very popular and experienced Camille Holand,
04:27lost his life.
04:28But Camille's family have given their approval for the racing to go ahead.
04:33I'm joined by Davey Todd,
04:35who's not racing at the Northwest 200 this year due to injury.
04:39Davey, everyone's thoughts with Camille's family?
04:42Yeah, absolutely.
04:44It's genuinely something special in times like this
04:47when the racing community really come together.
04:51They're really grouped together,
04:53all the families and friends of everybody
04:55and support each other in very difficult times like this.
04:58And it makes you proud to be part of the racing community
05:02at times like this.
05:03The first race is for the Super Twin and Sport Bike.
05:08Your teammate Peter Hickman is in pole position.
05:12Absolutely.
05:13The big man on a small bike has managed to put it on pole
05:16and especially up against Jeremy McWilliams
05:19on that lightning-fast machine that he's on,
05:2210 mile an hour quicker than I think pretty much everyone else
05:25through the speed trap.
05:26It's going to be a challenge in the race.
05:29Also, Paul Jordan on the front row as well.
05:31The three of them were very close on lap times
05:33and I think it's going to be a good battle.
05:35Okay, thank you, Davey.
05:37Lee Johnson is a five-time Northwest 200 winner
05:40and he explains this class.
05:48What a great class this is.
05:51I can see this being a real scrap.
05:54Super Twin slash sports bike class.
05:57We've come down to Malenko by Paget
06:00to have a look at their very beautiful pattern.
06:03This is the most competitive bike in this class.
06:05One slight problem.
06:07This bike is upwards of £70,000.
06:10The main reason for increased cost in this class
06:13is that you are only capped to 650cc,
06:16therefore meaning that the development cost for everything else
06:20in the motor, on the chassis,
06:21is increasing so much year on year
06:24and that is the main reason that we have gone to the sports bike rules.
06:27Let's go and have a look.
06:31So we have now come into the KTS Racing
06:34to have a look at their Factory Triumph sport bike option
06:38and try and explain the difference in costs
06:40from the pattern that we have just looked at.
06:42First main difference now on the sport bike class
06:45is control electronics.
06:46So that means control ECU, control dash,
06:49and control loom,
06:50capping the price on this for every manufacturer.
06:53The engines are a lot less tuned
06:55and making that a lot cheaper
06:57and more effective option for the teams.
06:59Third thing is the body silhouette.
07:01The bike has to look the same
07:03as the bike that leaves the factory.
07:05Therefore, all the development costs
07:07in body work and changing
07:08like we've seen on the pattern
07:09is not allowed anymore.
07:11This bike will be in the region
07:12of £30,000 to £35,000 to build,
07:15making it a lot cheaper for teams to get involved,
07:18hopefully make for closer racing
07:20and better for you guys as fans to watch.
07:31Well, the sun is shining,
07:34but it's a pretty chilly, windy day here
07:37for the opening race.
07:39It's time to join our commentary team,
07:41Steve Parrish and Keith Ewan.
07:44Looking down on the grid then
07:45for the Super Twins sport bike category.
07:48It is Peter Hickman on pole
07:49from Paul Jordan, Jeremy McWilliams,
07:51Alistair Sealy, Michael Sweeney,
07:53Jamie Coward on row two,
07:55Christian Elkin, Mauro Puccini
07:56and Franco Bourne on row three.
07:58Fourth row, Joey Thompson,
07:59Dominic Herbertson,
08:00Alan Bentner, Andrea Majola,
08:03Rob Hobson, Neil Kernan,
08:05Chris Duncan, Barry Graham
08:06and Piers EBN
08:07and they're ready to go.
08:08And the lights are about to go out
08:10and they are out for the first race
08:11of the weekend then
08:12and it is the 99.
08:13Jeremy McWilliams looking sharp
08:15straight off the line there.
08:16Peter Hickman on bike number 60
08:18straight in behind him as well though
08:19on the Swan Machine.
08:20Beautifully turned out as ever.
08:22The charge is on, Steve.
08:23Yeah, it really is.
08:24They've had to guess
08:25they're gearing a little bit
08:26because the wind has changed dramatically.
08:27There's a real tailwind
08:28as they go down to university.
08:30So one or two have had to change that.
08:32On board with Jeremy McWilliams
08:33as he tears off the line
08:35and he absolutely gets that clutching engine
08:38perfectly matched.
08:39To put it, Hickman is in there as well.
08:41Number 60, of course,
08:42both Yamahas these.
08:43That's this one, Yamahas.
08:44Full tank and of course
08:46it's a headwind
08:47as we head down into Metropole
08:49but they've got a tailwind
08:50behind them now
08:50as we go out towards Station Corner
08:52for the first time.
08:54McWilliams has got away well.
08:55He's already got about
08:56six or seven bike lengths
08:57as they go through Station Corner.
08:58Paul Jordan there.
09:00Watch out for the 36 machine.
09:01That is Jamie Coward
09:02making his way past all of them.
09:04Slick three we go then.
09:05That's what this class is all about.
09:07Working out where you can get
09:09that still air behind.
09:10Look at them, four abreast
09:11as we head down towards university
09:12and the braking area.
09:14Stunning pictures there, isn't it?
09:16Paul Jordan fairly late on the brakes.
09:18I thought they were going to try
09:19and get past it.
09:19Oh, he is so late on the brakes
09:21he's outbraked himself.
09:22So that is a mess.
09:23Paul Jordan is going to have to work
09:24so hard now.
09:26He's got to do a three-point turn
09:27and then get back
09:28onto the tail of these.
09:30Will he do it?
09:31And that's the Malenko
09:32by Padgett's machine there.
09:33You can see just behind us
09:34but Jamie Coward
09:35is pushing hard.
09:37On the brakes end
09:38and it looked like Hickey's
09:39got up the inside there.
09:40Oh, through has come Sealy as well.
09:41Alistair Sealy barges his way
09:43up underneath the 36 machine.
09:45So the 34 of Alistair Sealy
09:47is properly on it as well.
09:49We're looking at Pierre Yvian.
09:50Oh, down he goes.
09:51He's a little bit too much gas
09:53even out of one of these bikes.
09:54Yeah, Mr. Poncini
09:55had to go on the grass there
09:56but just gassed it up too much.
09:57It was a first gear corner
09:59so that has cost him
10:00a load of time there.
10:01But out in front,
10:02there is Peter Hickman.
10:04He's OK.
10:05Pierre Yvian is OK.
10:06He's holding his hand
10:07so he's not quite as OK
10:08as perhaps we would like him to be
10:10but he spun out
10:11and he banged his left hand
10:12on the floor there
10:13and that did sting for a moment.
10:14No doubt in that.
10:15So the other swan bike is out
10:17but this one,
10:17the number 60,
10:18is right in second place.
10:20Alistair Sealy though
10:21looking a little lively now
10:22on the 34 machine
10:23but out front already
10:25McWilliams
10:26has absolutely cleared off.
10:27There's no doubt
10:28that that Flittik Yamaha
10:30SMB Flittik Yamaha
10:31has got some speed.
10:32He's got the gear in right,
10:33I assume,
10:33because he's pulling nicely away.
10:38Still it is.
10:38You can see the dust.
10:39It's a fresh track, isn't it?
10:40This is the first race
10:41we've had here so far.
10:43We've had qualifying
10:43back on Wednesday and Thursday
10:45but really,
10:46Saturday,
10:46the track has got
10:48a little bit green
10:48and a little bit dusty.
10:50Hickman is closer.
10:51Undoubtedly,
10:52Peter Hickman
10:52has closed that gap down.
10:53It is 0.286
10:55as they went over the line.
10:56We're on lap three
10:57of the four then.
10:58McWilliams, Hickman,
10:59Alistair Sealy,
11:00Jamie Coward
11:01is in fourth place,
11:02Christian Elk in fifth
11:02at the moment
11:03and Paul Jordan
11:04is back up to sixth.
11:05That's a great ride
11:06considering he went
11:07straight on on lap one.
11:08And just a bit of information,
11:09Joey Thompson
11:10went through the speed track
11:11at 173 miles an hour
11:13on one of these little bikes.
11:14It's amazing.
11:15They're expensive,
11:16these bikes,
11:16but they are quick
11:17at the top end.
11:18Yeah, no doubt.
11:19And of course,
11:20the back wind
11:20has helped him immensely,
11:21but it is still very close
11:23between the two Yamahas.
11:25But it's about the pole sitter.
11:27Will he do it?
11:28Peter Hickman is chasing
11:29Jeremy McWilliams down.
11:30McWilliams, though,
11:31he's wily,
11:3262 years old,
11:33looking for,
11:34well,
11:34he hasn't had a win round here
11:35for some time.
11:35We're looking back
11:36at Christian Elk in front,
11:37Paul Jordan now.
11:40That will station corner.
11:42Not a hard corner
11:42on one of these bikes.
11:43Flat out.
11:44Yeah, absolutely.
11:45Yeah, don't roll it at all.
11:46It's flat out, actually,
11:47from the Mill Road roundabout
11:48all the way to here.
11:49Here is McWilliams,
11:50but he's being caught
11:50by Peter Hickman.
11:51Wow.
11:52Alistair Sealy seems to be
11:53a little bit out of it
11:54at the moment.
11:56That's the 36 of Machine
11:57going through there,
11:58Jamie Coward.
11:59Up over the link road then.
12:01A little bit of a hill there
12:02as well as you go
12:02over the rise
12:03and onto the Bally Sally roundabout.
12:05The magic roundabout.
12:06Will it be magic for Peter Hickman?
12:07Hickman's looking like
12:08he's closing him down.
12:09But he needs to get
12:10in the slipstream of McWilliams
12:11because I'm sure
12:12that bike in front,
12:13number 99,
12:14the flitting machine,
12:14has got the speed.
12:15We'll see in a minute
12:16because we're looking back.
12:17Tyres are still looking good.
12:18We're looking at Paul Jordan.
12:19Paul Jordan has made
12:20great progress
12:21since he went on
12:21straight on at University
12:23and he's making the pass.
12:24Jordan comes through then.
12:25That's just a bit spectacular.
12:27Oh, here we go.
12:28Slipstream then.
12:29Hickman up the inside,
12:30up the outside,
12:31I should say,
12:32of Jeremy McWilliams.
12:33But it's going to be
12:34into the braking area.
12:35Who's going to be
12:35the sharpest on the brakes?
12:36It is Peter Hickman
12:37at the moment.
12:37Now, McWilliams,
12:38he might have shown his hand
12:39a bit early, you know.
12:41I think so
12:41because I think McWilliams
12:42has got the power
12:43and the speed
12:44to get out of the corner
12:44and be passing him
12:46probably before we get
12:47to the macrovoy chicane.
12:49But we'll find out
12:49but on board with that
12:50and there it is.
12:51Look at that.
12:52Nearly sucked the stickers
12:53off the bike.
12:54Incredible power
12:55from that little flitting machine.
12:56Now then,
12:57can Hickman
12:58find a way back?
13:00Hickman's wily
13:00as well around here.
13:01He knows how to win races
13:02but McWilliams,
13:03his skill,
13:04former Grand Prix winner,
13:05don't forget.
13:07He might be old
13:08but he's definitely gold
13:09and he's a lot lighter
13:10and on a slightly faster
13:12motorbike
13:12than Peter Hickman.
13:13Peter Hickman's a big lad.
13:15Look at the picture.
13:16Look at the crowd here today.
13:17I've never seen anything like it.
13:18Lovely weather.
13:19It's a bit chilly out there
13:20but nevertheless.
13:21So, Hickman back in the slipstream now.
13:22Will he get past
13:23before they get down
13:24to the Metropole?
13:25Doesn't look like it to me.
13:25I've got to say.
13:26No, they're on the coast road now.
13:27No, we are indeed
13:28and this is all about
13:28what's going to happen here.
13:29So, McWilliams
13:32got to pay attention
13:33to your lapboard as well.
13:35McWilliams looks very,
13:36very cosy there in front.
13:38I wonder whether he is riding
13:39100% at this point.
13:41Oh, he got right out
13:42towards the kerb there.
13:43He does like to ride
13:44into the gutter,
13:45doesn't he?
13:45Yep, using all the road
13:47and chucking the dust up
13:48trying to fling a stone
13:49maybe at Peter Hickman
13:50in over the start line
13:51to start the last lap.
13:53Through that new bit of tarmac
13:54that was laid there
13:55before we came here
13:56this week then.
13:57So, here we go.
13:57Last lap time
13:58and it is
14:01McWilliams that leads.
14:02McWilliams goes right out again
14:04to the white line.
14:05Oh, not quite as far out
14:06as Alistair Seeley.
14:07Alistair Seeley's got Paul Jordan
14:09on his case now.
14:10Jordan has made a massive comeback
14:11in the fourth place.
14:12It's been a great ride.
14:13He's put the fastest lap
14:14in coming back
14:15through because he lost
14:16must be 10, 12 seconds
14:17turning around.
14:18So, last lap time
14:19Hickman on a wide line
14:20at York.
14:21It's now called
14:21the Amici hairpin.
14:23Oh, he cuts in,
14:24cuts it back
14:24but it's McWilliams
14:25that blasts up the hill.
14:26Mayhill we go to.
14:27The roundabout at the top here.
14:29Will Hickman try
14:30and put a pass on him?
14:31He's not really close enough.
14:32He's going to wait
14:32until the slipstream
14:33down to Wolves University
14:34I'm sure.
14:35Here's Seeley
14:35with Jordan on his case still.
14:37The 34 is Seeley.
14:38The 22 is Jordan.
14:40Yeah, Jordan has made up
14:41a huge amount of ground.
14:42I think he's going to get past
14:43I believe Seeley
14:44but we're going to find out
14:45in a minute.
14:46Here we go.
14:46These bikes sound pretty cool
14:47actually.
14:48Great exhaust system
14:49on that Yamaha in front
14:50the 99 bike.
14:52Listen to the revs.
14:53Here we go then.
14:55McWilliams, last lap.
14:56We're looking at
14:58Alistair Seeley.
14:59Thankfully we can't see
15:01the grimace on his face
15:02because he's got Jordan
15:03all over him as well.
15:04Here comes Jordan now.
15:05Big slipstream,
15:06straight pass.
15:07I don't think
15:07Alistair Seeley's bike
15:08is quite as sharp
15:09as the ones that are around him.
15:10So still it is.
15:12McWilliams from Hickman
15:13at University.
15:14Jordan now up
15:15into third place.
15:16Paul Jordan
15:17could win this race.
15:18Yeah, and when he went
15:19down that slip road
15:20I bet he didn't think
15:21he could
15:21but he's made up
15:22a huge amount of time.
15:23We didn't think he could.
15:23Nobody did.
15:24You thought he was
15:24out of the race
15:25but here we are.
15:26Three.
15:26Who is it going to be?
15:27What order?
15:27This looks like the podium.
15:29So then,
15:30flick right then.
15:30This is the run down
15:31towards Metropole now.
15:32This is a headwind
15:34right in your face.
15:35So will it slow
15:35anybody down?
15:37Yes, McWilliams,
15:38he knows what he's got to do.
15:39He knows who he's got
15:40to do it to.
15:41Yeah, he didn't like
15:42the look of that.
15:42There wasn't many gaps
15:43was there at all there?
15:44A little defensive
15:45into the chicane there
15:46McWilliams, if anything.
15:48Bit of a wider line
15:49for Peter Hickman
15:49but Paul Jordan
15:50the biggest worry
15:51for these two out front.
15:52Alistair Seeley there
15:53waiting to pick up the pieces
15:54if there are any.
15:56Down the gearbox.
15:57Chucking it down
15:58through the gears.
16:00Still McWilliams
16:01on the 99.
16:03Wow, this is a case
16:04of who's your money on?
16:05Paul Jordan
16:06looking really spectacular
16:07I've got to say
16:08apart from his breaking
16:09manoeuvre at university earlier.
16:10It's a game of chess now.
16:12Where do you want to be?
16:12What position do you want to be?
16:13He's seated down the inside
16:14of Jordan.
16:15He does.
16:15Does he get it?
16:16Yes, he does.
16:16Pushes Paul Jordan out.
16:17Paul Jordan ain't going
16:18to be happy with that.
16:19That is for certain.
16:19Out towards Church Corner
16:20they go now.
16:21We go on to the coast road
16:22for the last time.
16:24The flag is being made ready.
16:26McWilliams leads at the minute.
16:27You've got to be something
16:28a little bit special
16:29but there is one last pass
16:30in place.
16:31McWilliams needs to keep it tight.
16:32He doesn't need to leave a gap
16:33and I would have thought
16:34he'd know that he's not.
16:35Oh, look at this.
16:37Massive gap.
16:38He's been too much
16:38of a gentleman.
16:39You wouldn't have said
16:40that too often
16:40when it comes to racing
16:43if the space and Hickman
16:44has made the space
16:45work for him.
16:47Peter Hickman is going to win
16:48on the swan bike.
16:49Who would have thought
16:49that Jeremy McWilliams
16:51looked like he'd got control
16:52of this race
16:52but as we come to the last
16:54couple of corners
16:55it is going to be
16:56Peter Hickman
16:56to take the chequered flag
16:58from Jeremy McWilliams.
16:59Third place goes to
17:00Alistair Seeley.
17:02Incredible.
17:03Paul Jordan,
17:03a fine fourth.
17:04He'll be disappointed though.
17:06Jamie Coward,
17:06Christian Elkin,
17:07Alan Ventner,
17:09AJ Ventner that is.
17:10Michael Sweeney,
17:10Franco Bourne
17:11and Mauro Poncini.
17:15What a race.
17:16What a win.
17:18Yeah, mega.
17:18Like I said,
17:19he was a bit of a guest
17:19with the gearing
17:20and I think we were
17:20about right.
17:21I reckon Jez's bike
17:22is a little bit faster
17:23than ours
17:23but ours handles
17:25so, so good honestly.
17:26So over the coast road
17:27we were really, really strong.
17:28Jez is a mega rider
17:29to be with.
17:30I mean,
17:31the rider of his calibre,
17:32you know,
17:32it's just fantastic
17:33to even be on the same
17:34circuit as him
17:35and to race with him
17:37like that is,
17:37yeah, phenomenal.
17:38So I'm just super happy,
17:40you know,
17:40we've got all the bosses
17:41of Swan here as well
17:42and, yeah,
17:43for them guys
17:44and girls that are here
17:45it's just good
17:46to give them
17:46another number one
17:47after last year's
17:48kind of disappointment.
17:52Jeremy,
17:53back on the podium.
17:55How nice is that feeling?
17:56Yeah, it's nice
17:56to be on the podium.
17:57I prefer to be
17:58one step up
17:59but we've got another
17:59chance at it later on
18:01so, yeah,
18:02well done, Hickey.
18:02He's able,
18:03it looks like he's
18:04at a deficit
18:04a little bit on speed
18:05so he must be
18:06riding the wheels
18:07though
18:07to stay with me.
18:13Is that as hard
18:14as hard
18:15you've ever had
18:15the battle
18:16for a podium here?
18:17Yeah,
18:17I actually had a front slide
18:18coming off the
18:19Magic Roundabout
18:20on the last lap
18:21so we are pushing
18:22the envelopes,
18:23you know,
18:23but it's quite exciting
18:25and as I say,
18:26it's great for myself
18:27to add another podium on
18:28and great for the team.
18:41So a win for Peter Hickman
18:44and a great start
18:45to the day.
18:46Lee Johnson's with us
18:47as is Alana Meyer
18:48who is a local competitor
18:50in the Ulster
18:51Superbike Championship.
18:52Great start.
18:53Unbelievable start.
18:55What a race.
18:56I think we had a bit
18:57of everything there,
18:57didn't we?
18:58And it was so unfortunate
18:59for Paul Jordan
19:01after coming back
19:03from the run on there.
19:05It was just so unfortunate.
19:06Alistair pipped him
19:07in the end.
19:08Next up,
19:09it's the race
19:09everyone comes to see
19:10the Superbikes, Lee.
19:13Yeah,
19:13it's time for the big boys
19:14to come out now
19:15and interesting,
19:16I think this is Dean's
19:17first time on pole position
19:18and he looks really relaxed
19:20on the grid
19:21and I've put a pound on him.
19:22I don't want to put
19:22any extra pressure on there
19:24but yeah,
19:24he's looked good all week
19:25and we've ranted
19:26and raved about him
19:27about the fact
19:27of the form he's got
19:28in British Championships
19:29so yeah,
19:31looking really,
19:31really strong.
19:32Obviously,
19:32Glenn Irwin's back
19:33after his sabbatical
19:35is the right term.
19:36He's back on form
19:37on that new Zucati as well
19:38and closely beside him
19:39on the front row
19:40is Richard Cooper
19:40so anything could happen here.
19:42And newcomer,
19:43of course,
19:44Storm Stacey is here
19:45from the BSB.
19:47What's possible for him?
19:48We can't rule him out
19:49at this stage.
19:50He's shown a lot of promise
19:51and we all expected it.
19:53We didn't expect him
19:54to be slow by any means
19:56but yeah,
19:57it'll be a good one to watch.
19:59We're looking forward
19:59to this one.
20:11Superbike class,
20:13we have come down
20:13to Nitrous Competitions
20:14to look at Glenn Irwin's
20:16very beautiful
20:18Zucati Superbike.
20:19This bike
20:20is in the region
20:21of £170,000.
20:24Why is that
20:25you might ask?
20:26Well,
20:26this is the price
20:27you have to pay
20:27if you want to win races
20:29in the Superbike class.
20:30These bikes
20:30are capable of speeds
20:31over 210 miles per hour.
20:34We're going to look
20:35at some of the details
20:36on this bike
20:37and the reasons
20:38why it's at that value.
20:40Some of the things
20:40you can change
20:42starting at the front
20:43of the motorbike,
20:43we've got some very nice
20:45Ohlins forks,
20:46upwards of £10,000,
20:47some really nice
20:48Brembo calipers,
20:50upwards of £6,000,
20:51the rear swing arm,
20:53I don't actually know
20:54the cost of that
20:55being a factory part.
20:57The rear subframe,
20:58the tank,
20:59the rear shock,
21:00the wheels are different,
21:02the bodywork's different,
21:03and the biggest difference
21:04from the factory bike
21:05that you see
21:06in World of Superbikes,
21:07this bike is running
21:08MoTeC Electronics.
21:09So they have to change
21:10the dash,
21:11the ECU,
21:12the loom,
21:13all of this
21:14weighs up to £20,000.
21:16And on top of all that,
21:18you've got a rather
21:18beautiful exhaust system,
21:20also upwards of £10,000.
21:23So guys,
21:24this is the price
21:24you have to pay
21:25to try and win races
21:26in the turbo bike race
21:27at the North West 200.
21:32It's time to join
21:33our commentary team,
21:35Steve Parrish
21:35and Keith Ewan.
21:37Frantic preparations
21:38for the restart.
21:39Dean Harrison
21:40on number three,
21:41looking in the background,
21:42there is the 47,
21:43that is Richard Cooper.
21:45Harrison,
21:45Erwin,
21:46Cooper on the front row,
21:47Josh Brooks,
21:47Michael Dunlop,
21:48Storm Stacey,
21:49the rookie on row two
21:50with Ian Hutchinson,
21:51Peter Hickman
21:51and Erno Costamo
21:52on row three.
21:53Rounding out the top
21:54per four row
21:55is John McGuinness,
21:56Mike Brown,
21:56Paul Jordan,
21:57Michael Sweeney,
21:58Davo Johnson,
21:59Dominic Hervison,
22:00Laurent Hoffman,
22:00Marcus Simpsons
22:01and Phil Crowe.
22:02So then,
22:03who's going to make
22:04the whole shot
22:05for the second time?
22:05We wonder.
22:07The Briggs Equipment
22:07superbike races go.
22:09And again,
22:09look at Glenn Irwin
22:10working his body
22:11all over that Ducati
22:12to try and get it out front.
22:14And he does.
22:15And a nice,
22:16shiny new rear tyre
22:17on Glenn Irwin's bike.
22:18Yeah,
22:18a little bit of rubbish
22:19blowing off the coast road.
22:20It's very,
22:21very windy here.
22:22That hasn't subsided at all
22:23as we start again
22:24on this superbike race.
22:25Harrison,
22:26we're looking at.
22:26That Honda is a hybrid
22:28and it's working pretty well.
22:29Yeah,
22:30it's more or less
22:30a super stock machine
22:31with a superbike engine in it.
22:33He cuts on the inside storm.
22:34Stacey,
22:34the newcomer there,
22:35orange jacket on
22:36with slotting into third.
22:38Blasting up the hill then.
22:39Don't forget,
22:40we've got a tailwind
22:41all the way out
22:42towards University Corner
22:43and a headwind
22:44coming back to Metropole
22:45into the roundabout,
22:47the Mill Road roundabout
22:48it is Glenn Irwin
22:49from Dean Harrison.
22:50Dean Harrison
22:51still looking for
22:52his first win
22:53on this racetrack.
22:55I know,
22:55incredible,
22:56isn't it?
22:56And Glenn Irwin
22:57going for his 12th win.
22:58He's really dominated
22:59the superbike class
23:00and look at the lead
23:00he has already.
23:01Storm Stacey,
23:02you can see
23:02just behind Dean Harrison
23:03and come over the top.
23:04Michael Dunlop
23:05didn't get a good start.
23:06Storm Stacey
23:06has been a revelation.
23:08This is Station Corner
23:08for the first time.
23:09It's a very,
23:10very windy corner as well.
23:11Got to be so careful
23:12through it.
23:12It's nearly flat out
23:13even on a superbike.
23:14But Storm Stacey
23:16has, well,
23:18grabbed it by the horns
23:19I think you could say
23:19round here.
23:20The orange novice jacket
23:22stands out fairly
23:23substantially on Stacey.
23:25Yeah,
23:26it really does.
23:26Look at the speed here.
23:27This is ridiculous.
23:28Side by side
23:29on a narrow road
23:30at 200 miles an hour.
23:32And he's nearly
23:32on the grass,
23:33Harrison.
23:33Yeah,
23:34he's been pushed there
23:34by Glenn Irwin.
23:35Glenn Irwin hardly
23:36gave him enough room.
23:37He was down the white line,
23:38that's for sure.
23:38But Dean Harrison
23:39up the inside on the brakes.
23:40He wasn't to be put off,
23:41that's for certain.
23:42Ian Hutchinson is there
23:43on the number 12 as well.
23:44Keep an eye on Hutchie.
23:45Hutchie looking for a result
23:46round here.
23:47Over the link road then.
23:48Wow.
23:48I'll tell you,
23:49Glenn Irwin certainly
23:50got on the gas there,
23:51didn't he?
23:51Did you notice he had
23:52a glance across to see
23:53if anyone was not
23:53going to make the corner
23:54because they were all
23:55going in there faster
23:56than normal because
23:56of that tailwind?
23:57And a full tank of fuel
23:58as well.
23:59Yeah,
23:59very much.
24:00A Honda racing machine
24:01Dean Harrison.
24:02Surely he's got to get
24:03a win here this year.
24:04Well,
24:05we'll have to find that out
24:06as the weekend progresses.
24:07Saturday racing,
24:08it's a beautiful day
24:10but it is freezing cold
24:11and blowing a gale.
24:12Look at that.
24:13There is Storm Stacey.
24:14Pulls out the slipstream
24:15of Dean Harrison.
24:16Dean Harrison's
24:17superbike-enginioned Honda
24:18looking very,
24:19very sharp though.
24:20But Glenn Irwin out front
24:22on the wiggly Ducati
24:24in a straight line
24:25in this wind
24:26and with his style of riding
24:27it doesn't look as stable
24:28as you would perhaps like it.
24:30No,
24:30it doesn't.
24:30It looks hard work
24:31in all fairness
24:32and he's been trying
24:32to sort it out
24:33throughout qualifying.
24:34On board here
24:34with Richard Cooper
24:35as we saw.
24:36swamped.
24:37Yeah,
24:37whatever happened
24:38to Richard Cooper there,
24:39that was a terrible start
24:40for him.
24:40He's normally very fast away.
24:42So,
24:43leading it is
24:43the number two
24:44of Glenn Irwin
24:45as we come to Metropole
24:46for the first time.
24:47Dean Harrison in second place,
24:48Storm Stacey in third place.
24:49Storm Stacey scratches
24:51around this part of the course.
24:52He looks like a short circuit rider
24:54not a roads rider.
24:55Well,
24:55he is.
24:55This is his first time
24:56at the roads.
24:57Incredible.
24:57And some of the riders
24:58have said
24:58they've not seen lines
24:59quite like that
25:00seen from Storm Stacey
25:01but he's making it work.
25:02Yeah,
25:02and he might be inventing
25:04a few more
25:04as this week progresses.
25:06Back on board
25:07with Dean Harrison then.
25:08You can see the violence
25:09of it
25:09as the wind
25:10shakes all over.
25:11It's a bumpy racetrack
25:12as well in places
25:13and you can see that
25:14from those on board cameras.
25:16So,
25:16Harrison,
25:16we can look down on him
25:17in front of Storm Stacey.
25:19That orange stands out
25:20brilliantly for us
25:20on the heli shot
25:21that we're getting here.
25:23Helicopter
25:23has a job to keep up.
25:24Everybody's having a job
25:25to keep up with Glenn Irwin.
25:26He had a moment there,
25:27number 79,
25:28he had a bit of a wriggle
25:29as it just went over
25:30the crest of the road
25:31but look how fast
25:33he is through these chicanes.
25:35Short circuit riding.
25:36Stuart Egg's
25:37MSBR
25:37series director
25:39has been on the phone.
25:40He's keeping an eye
25:41on what's going on
25:42with one of the
25:43BSB protégés.
25:45Storm Stacey
25:46is your man.
25:47Storm Stacey
25:48is tearing up the weeds
25:49here at the
25:50Northwest 200
25:50for the very first time.
25:52He is right in the hunt here.
25:54Who would have thought it?
25:55The 79
25:56Storm Stacey.
25:57You can see him around.
25:59He's got his own
25:59merchandise in here.
26:00Everyone's wearing a top hat.
26:02Yeah, and he's barely
26:02had much dry practice.
26:04In fairness,
26:04qualifying's been
26:05rather damp.
26:05John McGuinness,
26:06number one.
26:07Give him credit.
26:08He is still getting
26:09that Honda round
26:10pretty quickly.
26:11And a man in front of him
26:12is Michael Dunlop
26:13that doesn't seem to be
26:14featuring where we thought
26:15he might
26:15at the front of this
26:16Superbike race.
26:17We're on board
26:18with Mike Brown.
26:20Powering his way
26:21along the seafront
26:22but back with
26:23Dean Harrison again now.
26:25Absolutely stuck
26:26to the tank.
26:26It wears your leathers out
26:27in places you wouldn't
26:28have thought.
26:28Look,
26:29leathers are going to get worn.
26:30You can see there
26:31the patch.
26:32Absolutely.
26:32He's just flat out
26:33for so long.
26:34About 30 seconds
26:35coming down here
26:35in the braking zone here.
26:37Dean Harrison right behind him.
26:37Stacey's dropped back
26:38a tiny bit.
26:39Hutchie going well.
26:40Oh, Koops is up the slip road.
26:42Koops is bouncing up the slip road.
26:43He's not had a good race
26:44here, has he, at all?
26:45Who would have thought it?
26:46And he can ride a big bike
26:47too.
26:47Yeah, he's been enjoying
26:48the qualifying
26:49and qualified in very good positions
26:50but things not going
26:51quite as well.
26:51On board with Glenn Irwin.
26:53Nitrous competition racing
26:55through that little
26:56tight chacune.
26:58Did you hear how quick
26:58he picked the throttle up there?
27:00He barely turned it
27:01on the fat bit of the tyre.
27:02We're looking at Richard Cooper
27:03that's looking at Coleraine
27:05as opposed to where
27:05he should be looking.
27:06Yeah,
27:06it takes a long while
27:07to turn one of these bikes
27:08around,
27:08no steering lock on them.
27:09Especially when you're short
27:10like he is.
27:11So then,
27:11back at the front,
27:12Dean Harrison is now looking,
27:14what's the word I'm looking for?
27:15Meaningful,
27:16I think.
27:16I think he's keeping an eye
27:18on what's going on.
27:19Sometimes it's good to follow
27:19someone around for a few laps.
27:21You just work it all out.
27:22I've said before,
27:23it's like a game of chess.
27:23Wanting to know where you
27:24should be on that final lap.
27:27Storm Stacey now,
27:27just dropping off of those
27:28leaders.
27:2912 is Ian Hutchinson,
27:3060 is Hickey.
27:31Then you've got Josh Brooks,
27:32then that man,
27:33the number six
27:34of Michael Dunlop,
27:35fan favourite around here
27:36of course,
27:37but I think
27:38one or two riders
27:39that the fans
27:40are waving for.
27:41And of course,
27:42Michael was due to ride
27:43a Ducati here this weekend,
27:44but felt that hadn't got
27:45the preparation time
27:46to get it right
27:46and he's back
27:47on a Honda Fireblade.
27:48Yeah,
27:48Hawk,
27:48that's the Stuart
27:49and Stephen Hicken team
27:51from Mallory Park
27:52have put it all together
27:53for him
27:53and he's got a Honda
27:54prepped for him here.
27:55It was a bit of a
27:56scramble to get it all together,
27:57but he did.
27:58Now then,
27:58Glenn Irwin under
27:59a little bit of pressure here.
28:00Let's see if that Honda
28:01is any match
28:02for the Ducati.
28:03Oh,
28:04that's a bit of a disaster
28:05as well there.
28:06You wouldn't have expected
28:07that from the 42.
28:08That's Jonathan Perry
28:09that's pulled out.
28:11Hickman coming past Stacey.
28:13I don't know whether
28:13Stacey's got any tyre issues
28:15or whatever.
28:15He's dropping back
28:16a little bit now.
28:16He probably can't believe
28:17how tiring is doing this.
28:19Side by side
28:20as they go down
28:20towards station corner.
28:21Is Hickman going to get past it?
28:23Yes,
28:23he is.
28:24It's quite tight though.
28:25You can bet your life
28:26at Storm Stacey
28:27won't be letting him
28:27go through it any faster
28:28than he is.
28:29He's clinging on.
28:30Now then,
28:30Dean Harrison
28:31looking at the inside
28:32of Glenn Irwin.
28:33Dean Harrison
28:33has got to outbrake
28:34Irwin.
28:35Irwin goes for the
28:36Doctor's Dangle,
28:36the more traditional
28:37braking style
28:38of Dean Harrison
28:39into university.
28:40But look at that.
28:41Cuts straight to the inside.
28:42Glenn Irwin blasts
28:43back up the inside
28:44of Dean Harrison
28:45as we go into
28:47the braking area
28:47at the Bally Sally
28:48roundabout.
28:49It's interesting
28:49noting when they come
28:50down into those
28:51tight corners.
28:52You see certainly
28:53Dean Harrison
28:53having a nod.
28:54It looks like a nod
28:54but he's looking down
28:55to see if he's in
28:56the right gear.
28:57It comes up on the screen
28:59and they just keep an eye
29:00on what they are
29:01into first gear.
29:03The run out
29:04to Metropole
29:05again.
29:06The headwind
29:06and Dean Harrison
29:07is fighting with Irwin.
29:09Irwin has got
29:10a scrap on his hands
29:11here looking
29:12for yet another win.
29:13He's been the most
29:13successful superbike
29:14rider of recent times
29:16into the braking area.
29:17They were side by side.
29:19Harrison
29:19and Glenn Irwin
29:21right out
29:21on the white line.
29:22He was using
29:23the hard shoulder
29:24into the Bally Sally
29:25roundabout.
29:28down the bottom
29:29here we are.
29:30Hickman goes through
29:30in front of Hutchinson.
29:32Michael Dunlop
29:32having a look.
29:34Oh they touched.
29:35That wasn't a look
29:36that was a shove.
29:38So Michael Dunlop
29:39on the number six bike
29:40just shoved Hutchie
29:40out the way
29:41on the number 12 machine.
29:42Josh Brooks
29:42on the back of them
29:43on the Dow Racing Honda
29:45under the railway bridge.
29:47Back off onto the coast road.
29:49Back at the front
29:49we're looking at Harrison
29:50harrying Glenn Irwin.
29:52Glenn Irwin's in the scrap
29:53here and he knows it.
29:54This is the last real
29:55passing place
29:56and Dean Harrison's
29:56going for it.
29:57Dean Harrison
29:58has he shown his hand
29:59a bit early Steve?
30:00I've got to say
30:00because Glenn Irwin
30:01will thank him for that.
30:02He's just been made aware
30:04of where Harrison
30:04is good on the brakes.
30:06Yeah I think
30:06the Vett McLean chicane
30:07has been in the past
30:09and I'm pretty sure
30:10it will be today
30:10where it all takes place
30:11to who's going to win
30:12this race.
30:14Into the final chicane
30:15which is the start
30:16and finish chicane
30:17over at Juniper
30:18dropped down through
30:19that new tarmac
30:19just there
30:20and then the right flick
30:21for the flag
30:22abnormally
30:24we're on
30:24lap 5
30:26after lap 4
30:27it's Dean Harrison
30:28Glenn Irwin
30:28Peter Hickman
30:29in third place
30:30we've hardly spoken
30:30about Hickey for a while
30:35let's take another look
30:36at this then
30:36slide it up the inside
30:38Glenn Irwin won't give him
30:39that amount of room
30:40on the last lap
30:40I guarantee you
30:41if that's a similar
30:42situation
30:43I can assure you
30:44he won't
30:44there's a nice little gap
30:45there
30:45but it gives Glenn Irwin
30:46a chance to have a look
30:47at what the pace
30:48that Dean Harrison
30:49has got
30:49Stacey's dropped off
30:51that's for sure
30:51so Storm Stacey
30:53has dropped away
30:54oh Hutchie
30:54taking Josh up
30:55the long way
30:56at the Amici hairpin
30:57formerly the York hairpin
30:59so Josh Brooks
31:00sharp there
31:01otherwise he might have
31:02had a man
31:03that rammed him
31:04he'd be saying a few words
31:05in his helmet
31:06so Hutchinson
31:07is 12
31:08then it is
31:09Josh Brooks
31:10up behind him
31:11so Brooksie
31:11having a good ride
31:13here the Australian
31:13but yeah
31:14look Hutchie
31:15got it sideways
31:16big time
31:16he's doing everything
31:17he can to get it turned
31:18Josh Brooks did a good job
31:20on the 25 machine though
31:21yep he did
31:22right here we go
31:24side by side
31:24over the link road
31:25back at the
31:26Bally Sally roundabout
31:27again
31:27it's Harrison
31:28that leads
31:28from Irwin
31:29and like I say
31:31I'm not sure
31:32it was a great idea
31:33Dean Harrison
31:33showing his hand
31:34this early in the race
31:35he'd have been a bit better
31:36maybe to mug
31:36Glen Irwin
31:37on the final lap
31:38rather than
31:39showing where he's quick
31:40yeah
31:40speed to speed
31:41the run back up
31:42to the chicane
31:45211 miles an hour
31:46down towards University
31:48these guys are
31:49flying on these motorcycles
31:50212 is the outright's
31:52top speed
31:53at the moment
31:54and I'm pretty sure
31:54that was Josh Brooks
31:55a few years ago
31:56but they're getting
31:56very close to it
31:58so Irwin back in front
31:59on the number 2 machine
32:01Dean Harrison
32:03can he take this win
32:05let's take a look
32:06at it again
32:06as he rubs his chest
32:07on that fuel filler
32:09gets as tight down
32:11under the screen
32:11as he can
32:12and the Ducati
32:13just powers past
32:13I think it's just
32:14I think the Ducati
32:15is quicker in a straight line
32:16than the Honda
32:17yeah once it gets wound up
32:18I think you're absolutely right
32:19the big V4 machine
32:21it is in line
32:22for the Honda
32:22in line four cylinder
32:23on the V4
32:24for the big Ducati there
32:25last lap
32:26last lap then
32:27now this is the one
32:28that counts
32:29has Dean Harrison
32:30got it worked out
32:30has Glenn Irwin
32:31worked out
32:33where Dean Harrison
32:33has got it worked out
32:35yeah
32:35like I say
32:36it will all be
32:37in my opinion
32:38it will be down
32:39at that chicane
32:40the Juniper chicane
32:43they tip it in nicely there
32:45York
32:45oh I tell you what
32:46he just dropped it
32:46on his knee there
32:47so
32:48a little bit of a slip
32:49maybe for Glenn Irwin
32:50but nothing to slow him down
32:51up the hill
32:52and now he blasts up
32:54to the Mill Road roundabout
32:55Peter Hickman
32:56still there in third place
32:59Hickman we still don't think
33:01he's fully fully fit
33:02he told me earlier in the week
33:03that his shoulders
33:03much much better
33:04but he'll be tired
33:05I'll tell you what
33:06a podium though
33:08will do him quite nicely
33:09I would suggest
33:10these two are flying
33:11they're going really
33:12really quickly
33:12it's only the second race
33:13of the Saturday
33:14the track still isn't
33:15in optimum condition
33:16at this moment in time
33:17Dean Harrison
33:18then gets a nice old draft
33:20from the
33:20he's on the grass again
33:22virtually
33:22well the thing is
33:23it looks so narrow
33:24at 200 mile an hour
33:25you can imagine
33:25it looks narrow to us
33:26when we're sat up here
33:27and you forget
33:28there's some kinks along
33:28it's not dead straight
33:29piece of road
33:30dust being kicked up
33:32everywhere as well
33:32right then
33:33braking area
33:34Dean Harrison has been good here
33:35he likes a tighter line
33:36into this link road
33:37braking position
33:38this time he decides
33:39to go line astern
33:40with oh mistake
33:41from Glenn Irwin
33:42little bit of a mistake
33:43there a bit of a bobble
33:44took him out to the white line
33:45will that have given
33:47Dean Harrison any advantage
33:48this man is out on his own
33:49in third place
33:51you just can't imagine
33:52what it's like
33:53trying to cling on that bike
33:54at 200 mile an hour
33:54over the bumps
33:55right is this the point
33:57when Glenn disappears
33:58well or is it the point
34:00where Dean Harrison
34:01has used his homework
34:03looks like Glenn has
34:04disappeared down the road
34:05now then
34:06back markers
34:06that could be a problem
34:08down towards Metropole
34:09they should both be past
34:10them at Metropole
34:11yeah they are
34:11no drama at all
34:12so Glenn Irwin drops in
34:13first at Metropole
34:14Dean Harrison next
34:15now this is where the
34:16Honda is sharp
34:17through here
34:18up onto the coast road
34:19over Black Hill
34:20and down to the
34:22chicane
34:22the last real
34:23braking area
34:24that he might be able
34:25to make a pass
34:26he's not close enough
34:27I don't think
34:27I don't think he is
34:28but the crowd are going
34:28absolutely mad
34:29for the local fella
34:31on that machine
34:33Black Hill then
34:33as we go up towards
34:34the coast road
34:35he's a beautiful scenery
34:36they won't be looking
34:37at that at all
34:38but there's a lot of fans
34:39here now
34:39it's about this particular
34:41part of the track
34:42and this is where the
34:43Honda looks really good
34:43but I still don't think
34:44he's close enough
34:45to get on Glenn Irwin
34:46into that chicane
34:47here we go then
34:48this is the last
34:49opportunity
34:49he's not close enough
34:51he's just not close enough
34:52will he go defensive
34:53just in case
34:54because he won't have
34:54a clue what's going on
34:55he hasn't
34:56he realises he's got
34:57that lead
34:57he takes a nice line
34:58in there
34:59oh that was a bit
35:00steady there
35:00oh hang on a minute
35:01it might not be over
35:02just yet
35:02we've got one more
35:03the Juniper
35:04Juniper chicane
35:05which is unlikely
35:06to make a pass
35:07round the outside
35:07maybe
35:08Dean Harrison
35:08looking for a way
35:09round him
35:09is he going to manage
35:10it
35:10no he's not
35:11it's going to be
35:12surely
35:13yes it's surely
35:14going to be
35:15the ultimate
35:16oh and again
35:16another mistake
35:17from Glenn Irwin
35:18but he takes a
35:19chequered flag
35:19in front of
35:20Dean Harrison
35:20wow
35:21I'll tell you what
35:22he nearly gave
35:22that one away
35:23through two mistakes
35:24his 12th win
35:25in the superbike class
35:26there it is
35:26Glenn Irwin
35:27from Dean Harrison
35:28Michael Dunlott
35:28that's your podium
35:29Peter Hickman
35:30Josh Brooks
35:31Ian Hutchinson
35:31Storm Stacy
35:32John McGuinness
35:33Mike Brown
35:33and Dave O'Johnson
35:3410th
35:40just how does that feel
35:42yeah it's
35:43they are all
35:44as special
35:45as each other
35:47Dean was riding
35:49incredibly well
35:50he was riding good
35:51he passed me
35:52in areas where
35:53people have never
35:54passed me
35:55I think he's the
35:55first rider to
35:56pass me into
35:56Juniper Chican
35:57but this is why
35:58you came back
35:59to the North West
36:00200 isn't it
36:01to win
36:01I came back
36:02to continue my streak
36:03I've been seeing
36:04the number 13
36:04all week
36:05and people don't
36:06like that
36:06but after the
36:08scenario changed
36:08the maximum wins
36:10I can have this week
36:11is 13
36:11so I keep saying
36:1213 everywhere
36:13I look
36:13and it's a sign
36:19Dean a 15th podium
36:21at the North West
36:22200
36:22what a battle
36:23you had
36:24with Glenn
36:24honestly
36:25I feel like
36:26I'm riding
36:26quite well
36:28someone has
36:28to take it
36:29to Glenn
36:29I didn't want
36:30to let him
36:30ride around
36:30by himself
36:31but no
36:31fair play
36:32to the Honda
36:32team
36:32they thought
36:33they built me
36:33a bit of a bike
36:34for this year's
36:35road racing
36:35campaign
36:36the bikes
36:37there and thereabouts
36:38really
36:38everyone knows
36:39how strong
36:39the Ducati
36:40is
36:40and Glenn
36:41is riding
36:42really well
36:43come the end
36:43of Alton Park
36:44so it's a tough
36:45combination
36:45to be
36:46but no
36:47happy with that
36:48so I can't
36:48complain
36:48I've got a few
36:50more races
36:50to go
36:50so we'll have
36:51a go
36:51in the next
36:51three
36:55pushed so hard
36:56to get in
36:57to this
36:57winner's enclosure
36:58yeah we just
36:59kept part of the way
36:59we've got an issue
37:01a bit with the bike
37:02which is
37:03because we're so late
37:04at getting stuff
37:05we had to just get
37:05an engine
37:06that obviously
37:06hasn't got the
37:07correct ratios for us
37:08so we struggle a lot
37:10out the back
37:10but once it gets going
37:11it's grand
37:12it's just
37:12we know miles
37:13when the bike's left us
37:14with no real
37:15real set up
37:15which is quite difficult
37:16but it's a pity
37:17because you know
37:19going probably
37:20three or four seconds
37:21a lap quicker last year
37:22so it's a bit
37:22frustrating at the minute
37:23but we'll just keep
37:24chipping away
37:24and hopefully make a
37:24step for the next race
37:37Glenn Irwin with his
37:3812th superbike victory
37:40at the North West
37:41and always great to see
37:42a Dunlop on the podium
37:44just down the road
37:45of course in
37:46Balamone
37:46is where Michael Dunlop
37:48and the Dunlop family
37:49is from
37:50it's the place
37:51that many people
37:52regard as the home
37:53of motorcycle road
37:55racing
37:55and recently
37:56an exhibition opened
37:58in the town hall
37:59paying homage
38:00to our road racing royalty
38:20Stephen a fabulous
38:21motorcycling exhibition
38:23why has the council
38:25decided to put this on
38:26during the North West
38:27200
38:27well Stephen
38:28it's pretty much
38:29I suppose
38:30it was a build up
38:30from last year
38:31from Joey 25
38:32which as you know
38:33was a great success
38:34councillors were delighted
38:35and they actually proposed
38:37as a result of that
38:38that we have
38:39a sort of permanent
38:40Joey exhibition
38:41here in the town hall
38:42every year
38:43we sort of showcase
38:44something to do
38:45with the North West
38:46so this year
38:46we're showcasing
38:47Philip McCallan
38:48so we kind of
38:49have amalgamated both
38:51with Philip McCallan
38:53Joey Dunlop
38:53and then we thought
38:54well
38:54why not expand that
38:56into the wider road racing world
38:57so this is why
38:58we've now got an exhibition
38:59including Robert Dunlop
39:01William Dunlop
39:02Owen McNally
39:03Richard Britten
39:08so reflect on
39:10Joey 25
39:11for us
39:12that event
39:12how important
39:13it was for the town
39:15and to the legacy
39:16of what's happening
39:16here in Ballamunny
39:17I think it was
39:18important
39:19I suppose
39:19in a number of ways
39:21first of all
39:21it was important
39:22that we remember
39:24Joey
39:24who was probably
39:25our world legend
39:27and it was an important
39:28anniversary for the town
39:29and for the Dunlop family
39:30and the wider council
39:31how important
39:32is the entire
39:33Dunlop family
39:34to this town
39:36well the Dunlop dynasty
39:37as we call it up here
39:39is critical
39:40and thankfully
39:41it's great
39:41we've actually got a range
39:43of that dynasty
39:44that family on show
39:45so actually here
39:46we have Sam Dunlop's bike
39:47in the other room
39:48we have William
39:49and Robert
39:50we have their bikes
39:51on display
39:52and of course
39:53we have a brand new
39:54Joey room
39:54which we're hoping
39:55everybody comes to see
39:56so it's absolutely
39:57important to us
39:58that the whole Dunlop dynasty
40:00are included
40:00in what we're actually
40:01putting on here
40:02I've been following
40:03road racing now
40:04for at least 40 years
40:05Stephen and I
40:06have never seen
40:06an exhibition like this
40:07so I would probably
40:10boastfully say yes
40:11I think this is probably
40:12the best exhibition
40:13of road racing
40:13ever
40:15certainly well worth
40:16a visit
40:17next up
40:18it's the super sport race
40:20and Lee
40:21explains this class
40:25Triumph Ducati
40:26Yamaha
40:27we've got them all
40:28in this race
40:29the super sport class
40:30we have come in
40:31to Jackson racing
40:32to have a look
40:33at their V2 Ducati
40:35and try and explain
40:36to you guys
40:36how this class works
40:41it ranges right from 600cc
40:44up to 959cc
40:46which we are looking at now
40:47on this Ducati
40:49you might wonder
40:50how that works
40:50it's all controlled
40:52by electronic system
40:53that is also used
40:55in the British
40:55Superbike Championship
40:56that controls
40:58the power output
40:59of the motorbike
40:59the torque output
41:00of the motorbike
41:01as well as the top speed
41:03of the motorbike
41:03making for really close racing
41:05here at the North West 200
41:08flat out
41:09they're not rolling
41:09the throttle at all
41:10some of the other changes
41:11you're allowed to make
41:12on this class
41:13are the fork internals
41:14which we can look at here
41:15race suspension
41:16body work
41:18and exhaust system
41:21all this results
41:22in the bike
41:22costing 45 to 50,000 pounds
41:25what that gets you
41:26is upwards
41:27of 170 miles per hour
41:29wow
41:30I've never seen anything like it
41:31and he surely will win
41:35Alistair Seeley
41:36is in pole position
41:38Philip McAllen
41:39is with me
41:3911 times
41:40North West 200
41:41winner
41:41can Seeley get his
41:4330th victory
41:44at the North West here
41:45he can
41:45he's at 29
41:46so far
41:46his first win
41:47in this Super Sport class
41:48was 2008
41:49his last win
41:50was 2023
41:51he's in pole position
41:53so I think
41:54he's definitely
41:55lined up for that win
41:56but Michael Dunlop
41:57has been riding good
41:57all day
41:58and he wants it as well
41:59Philip thank you
42:00this one
42:01should be a cracker
42:03Super Sport
42:04pound for pound
42:05one of the best classes
42:06there is in the world
42:08pole position
42:09Alistair Seeley
42:10that'll be popular
42:11Michael Dunlop
42:11alongside him
42:12Dean Harrison
42:13on the front row
42:14Costamo Hutchinson
42:15Jordan on row 2
42:16Brooks
42:17Phillips
42:18and Mike Brown
42:18row 3
42:19Christian Elkin
42:20row 4
42:20McCoy
42:21Michael Evans
42:22Jeremy McWilliams
42:23a way back
42:23Richard Cooper
42:24also a long way back
42:25Michael Simpson
42:26qualifying of course
42:27was a bit of a problem
42:28for McWilliams
42:29and he's going to try
42:30and make that work for him
42:31he can on the MSS
42:32performance
42:32Khao Zaki
42:33but blast off time
42:34look at that
42:35Alistair Seeley
42:36absolutely like an arrow
42:37out of the start traps
42:39he absolutely flew
42:41didn't deviate at all
42:42just got full power
42:43down the hill
42:44hang on
42:44up the inside
42:45a bit of forceful riding
42:47already going on here
42:48as we head down
42:49towards the braking area
42:50at York
42:50that was Richard Cooper
42:51from the fifth row
42:52trying to make his way
42:53through there quickly
42:54Josh Brooks there
42:54in second place
42:55who's going to go
42:56straight on at York
42:57often we get a bit of
42:58pushing and shoving here
42:59but no they look as
43:00well behaved
43:01in the super sport race
43:02that makes a change
43:03doesn't it
43:03we're on board
43:04with Dean Harrison
43:04as we head up
43:05to the Mill Road
43:06roundabout
43:07yeah and Michael Dunlop
43:08slotted into third place
43:09I think as they went
43:10round the Amici corner
43:11into this tricky
43:12little roundabout here
43:13the Mill Road
43:14roundabout
43:14it's a bit of a Ducati
43:16fest
43:16there's no doubt
43:16about it
43:17in qualifying
43:18just about everyone
43:19well on the front two rows
43:21were Ducatis
43:22except for the one
43:23Honda of Dean Harrison
43:24so he's amongst
43:25the Ducatis
43:26Alistair Seeley's on
43:27a Ducati
43:28the Binge Pro Ducati
43:29by 3B
43:29and he's made that
43:31work pretty well
43:32and he knows his way
43:33round
43:33he's still looking
43:34for that 30th race win
43:35yeah he does know
43:36his way round
43:36but it's a new bike
43:37to him isn't it
43:38he's just getting
43:38to grips with it
43:39I don't think
43:40he's had a lot of
43:40testing to be quite honest
43:41and we know
43:42just how fast
43:43the likes of
43:43Michael Dunlop's bike
43:44is
43:45that's a factory bike
43:46oh look at this
43:47and low
43:47straight into the
43:49slipstream
43:50and way past
43:51here comes Harrison
43:51as well
43:52he's going to come
43:52blasting through
43:53yeah he is
43:54Dunlop went right
43:55the way through
43:55now we know
43:56how fast that bike
43:57is from last year
43:58the number 6
43:58that Michael Dunlop's on
43:59it just didn't look right
44:01but it must have been
44:02because they did
44:03check the verification
44:04of it afterwards
44:06after race 2
44:07anyway
44:08so then
44:08down towards
44:09University we go
44:10oh Sealy's down
44:11the inside of Dunlop
44:12and he slaps it in
44:14there nicely
44:14Dean Harrison
44:15into third place
44:15Josh Butch goes wide
44:17very wide indeed
44:18out onto the white line
44:19at the link road
44:20this is Paul Jordan
44:21we're looking back
44:21from now
44:22who's he going to dive under
44:23he's had a good ride
44:24in the Super Twins race
44:25earlier
44:26this is Super Sport
44:26actually someone
44:27dived under him
44:28oh and McWilliams
44:29has gone straight off
44:30on the MSS performance
44:32Kawasaki
44:33so Jeremy McWilliams
44:35finds himself
44:36where he doesn't want to be
44:38he was scheduled
44:39to ride a Ducati
44:40in this
44:40he's now on the Kawasaki
44:41as we look at
44:42the number 7 machine
44:43of Josh Brooks
44:44oh look at
44:45Dunlop
44:46and Dean Harrison
44:47for that matter
44:48all the way down
44:49the inside
44:49on the Honda
44:50doesn't quite make it
44:51he was squeezed
44:52that's why
44:52squeezed onto the white line
44:54and might just have
44:54had to roll out of that
44:55so they're sorting
44:56themselves out Steve
44:57at Metropole
44:58Sealy up the inside
44:59of Dunlop
45:00Dunlop had to pick it up
45:02oh
45:03this is a fight
45:04Dunlop got back underneath
45:05Sealy's around the outside
45:06who's going to get
45:06into church first
45:07and it's Sealy
45:08he's like
45:09he's giving it everything
45:10the Ulstermen
45:11are probably at it
45:11at the moment
45:12Dean Harrison
45:12having a good old look
45:13at them of course
45:13we're looking back
45:14at him from Paul Jordan
45:15Paul Jordan
45:16has managed to get
45:16his machinery
45:17in front of Harrison
45:19Harrison's Honda
45:20is it a match
45:21for all these Ducatis
45:22I wonder
45:24down the gearbox
45:26into
45:28Black Hill
45:29now over the top
45:30of Black Hill
45:31now the run down
45:32towards the chicane
45:33this is the area
45:33we know that Harrison
45:35is particularly quick
45:35Sealy's still there
45:36yeah but look who's
45:37under him
45:37into the braking area
45:38it's going to be
45:39Michael Dunlop for sure
45:40Michael Dunlop
45:40didn't have to wait
45:41for the braking area
45:42he just drove past Sealy
45:43Sealy I thought he was
45:44going to let the brakes
45:45off then and try
45:45the long way round
45:46Harrison as well
45:47has come through
45:48in the third place
45:48little puff of dirt
45:50that comes up off
45:51the knee of Michael
45:51Dunlop as he drops
45:52it into the chicane
45:53and out again
45:54past the Juniper
45:56Caravan site
45:57and on towards
45:57the start and finish
45:58area
45:59this is Richard Cooper
46:00that came from
46:01the fifth row
46:02so is he going to
46:03make that much
46:03ground up
46:04it will be difficult
46:04because everyone
46:05in front of him
46:05is fast
46:07six laps then
46:07to sort themselves out
46:08Michael Dunlop leads
46:09over the line
46:11behind him is Sealy
46:12then it's Harrison
46:13can Michael Dunlop
46:14grab a win from this
46:15they are right out
46:16to the white line
46:17on the exit
46:18of the start and finish
46:19chicane
46:19Dunlop
46:20Sealy
46:20Harrison
46:21Jordan
46:22then it's the 47
46:23of Cooper
46:24looking good
46:25at least he stayed
46:25on the track this time
46:26instead of going
46:27straight down the slip road
46:28Josh Brooks is in
46:28sixth place
46:29and he's also come
46:30from quite a long way
46:31back Cooper
46:31we're talking about there
46:32so okay
46:33Michael Dunlop
46:34the winner here
46:34last year in this class
46:36first time he'd ridden
46:37the Ducati
46:37knows it very very well
46:38now
46:39yeah now everyone's
46:40on one though
46:40yeah exactly
46:41yeah it really is
46:42the local Ducati
46:44deal is doing well
46:45up the hill to the Mill Road
46:46roundabout then
46:47on board with Paul Jordan
46:48Paul Jordan
46:49got to be a bit of an
46:50outside favourite
46:51for the way things are
46:52going this week
46:52he's having good rides
46:53through qualifying
46:54and his opening race
46:56that's Cooper
46:57that we're looking back
46:58at the number 47
46:59of Richard Cooper
46:59Cooper just looks
47:01a little bit scruffier
47:02than I've seen him
47:03in previous years
47:04I've got to say
47:05just a little bit
47:06not personally of course
47:06just the way he's riding
47:07yeah well he's had to
47:08come from a fair way back
47:09and it's always awkward
47:10from that point of view
47:11you see that red light
47:12in the visor reflection
47:13there it's a shift gear
47:14when the red light
47:15comes on
47:15look at the amount
47:17of rubbish there is
47:17by the side of the track
47:18that's blowing across it
47:19I can't emphasise
47:21just how blowy it is here
47:22really that coast
47:24is blowing a gale
47:25and now
47:26the wind behind them
47:27all the way down
47:28to University
47:28and a bit of slipstream
47:29they could make it up
47:30to 180 mile an hour
47:31along this part of the track
47:32yeah the fastest
47:34Super Sport
47:34has always been 187
47:36that's extraordinary
47:37from these 600 machines
47:38or what ostensibly are
47:39into the braking area
47:40and three abreast
47:41behind him
47:41but it is Dunlop
47:42that leads
47:43Dunlop tucked right in
47:44for a big lad
47:44he tucks himself in
47:45really neat and tidy
47:46on that Ducati
47:48Richard Cooper
47:49giving us the shots
47:50Cooper
47:50this is where he went
47:51straight on a little
47:52earlier on
47:52inside of Jordan
47:53and he's not going to make it
47:54he's going to take Jordan
47:54off with him
47:55wow
47:56Richard Cooper
47:57another mistake
47:58at University
47:58and put Jordan
48:00on the pavement as well
48:01so that's
48:01really not helped
48:02Paul Jordan there
48:04Cooper was never
48:04going to make that
48:05we can take another
48:06look at it
48:06from outside
48:07yeah he just run
48:08Jordan across there
48:09so Jordan
48:09he's having some
48:10pretty poor luck
48:11considering just how
48:12things are
48:13and you're right about
48:14Richard Cooper
48:14normally one of the
48:15smoothest riders out there
48:16I think he's getting
48:17a bit overexcited
48:19because he's just
48:20not got the start
48:21that he needed
48:22clear road behind us
48:23you can see the
48:24windsock in the air
48:25briefly there
48:25the orange windsock
48:26to give the riders
48:27a bit of a clue
48:27which direction
48:28the wind is coming from
48:29more importantly
48:30whether it's changed
48:31direction
48:32as that does catch you
48:33out around a track
48:34like this
48:34at these kind of speeds
48:35that was through
48:36the matters chicane
48:37and then it's the
48:38charge up to the
48:38macrovoy
48:39this is probably
48:40the bumpiest part
48:41of the whole of the
48:41circuit
48:42Dunlop leads
48:43Harrison in second
48:44place at the moment
48:45trying to work out
48:46some kind of strategy
48:47no doubt
48:47got plenty of time
48:48yet to make that
48:49work for him
48:50he has
48:52like I say Harrison
48:53along the coast road
48:54that's where he seems
48:55to make up the time
48:56the Honda's doing
48:57a good job though
48:58I was going to say
48:58do you think the Honda
48:59is just that little bit
49:00better along the coast road
49:02than maybe even the
49:02Ducati
49:03or maybe it's just
49:04Harrison has got it
49:05worked out better
49:05along the coast
49:06and also you've got
49:07to remember that
49:07Harrison is on the
49:08Metzlers and Dunlop
49:09is on the Dunlops
49:10I know it sounds a bit
49:11dark but that's a
49:12different tyre
49:12manufacturer
49:13and it does make a
49:14difference
49:15Supersport
49:15great class
49:16lots of different
49:17rules to make
49:18these bikes
49:19equal-ish
49:20down at Metropole
49:21then it is the
49:22number six
49:22Michael Dunlop
49:23from the number three
49:24Dean Harrison
49:24then we look back up
49:25for the third place
49:26man
49:26it is still Richard Cooper
49:27scruffy he may be
49:28but fast he still is
49:2934
49:30is Alistair Sealy
49:31that's trying to get on
49:32terms with Richard
49:33Cooper now
49:34out towards Church
49:35Corner we go then
49:36Cooper
49:36Sealy
49:37then it's the 22
49:38of Paul Jordan
49:38recovering after being
49:39batted off at
49:41University Corner
49:42go under the bridge
49:43I can't believe
49:44Richard Cooper's got to
49:45there he's been on the
49:46pavement he's been all
49:47over the place
49:47barging his way through
49:48but he's still running
49:49very very strong
49:50there's a lot of riders
49:51around Richard Cooper
49:52that have got his colours
49:53all over them at the
49:54moment so
49:55Coast Road
49:55it's part of it I enjoy
49:57and this is where Dean
49:58Harrison is very very
49:59quick on that Honda
50:00let's see if he can
50:01close in on Michael
50:02Dunlop
50:02look at the rubbish
50:04he's going down the
50:05inside
50:06no he hasn't been
50:06able to
50:07Michael Dunlop I think
50:08let the brakes off a
50:09tiny bit there and just
50:10tucked it into the
50:11Bet McLean chicane
50:12I think it's more about
50:13Dean Harrison weighing
50:14up the odds
50:15it's too early to make
50:16that pass
50:16he gives away too much
50:17information by making
50:19the pass there too
50:19early on
50:20so Harrison needs to
50:22keep his powder dry
50:23I think with the likes
50:24of the wily Michael
50:25Dunlop
50:26into the start and
50:27finish chicane
50:28in we go then
50:28Dunlop leads over the
50:29line
50:30and actually Dean
50:31Harrison that was a
50:32good lap he just set the
50:33fastest lap of the race
50:34in fact a lap record from
50:35Dean Harrison on the
50:36Honda
50:36they're both under the
50:37lap record as Michael
50:38Dunlop and that's the
50:39reason why they're using
50:40all of the track they're
50:41both under the existing
50:42lap record at the moment
50:43so Cooper still in third
50:45place
50:45Sealy behind him
50:46Jordan behind him
50:47and the number seven
50:48machine of Josh Brooks
50:49the Australian
50:50he's on a Suzuki
50:51actually it's a very rare
50:53bike in this class
50:54it is and it's supported
50:55by Carl Cox
50:56Carl Cox the absolute
50:58legend Carl Cox
51:00yes that Carl Cox
51:01here we go
51:02Sealy on the inside of
51:04Coops
51:05well
51:06flame out from Cooper's
51:08machinery
51:08as they blast up to
51:10Mill Road
51:11up to the roundabout
51:13again let's look back
51:14at Josh Brooks
51:15the Australian
51:15looking for a way by
51:16into the braking area
51:17he's got it
51:18from a long way back
51:19as well
51:19he caught everyone
51:21napping there
51:21including us
51:24dead stop
51:25and he's through
51:25I wasn't sure if
51:27Josh Brooks was
51:27getting stopped there
51:28but he did
51:28he's got through
51:29nicely
51:30Suzuki obviously
51:30works pretty well
51:31for him
51:31so we look back
51:32from station corner
51:33now
51:33these are your
51:34leaders
51:34it is the number
51:35six of Michael
51:35Dunlop
51:36still being hounded
51:37by Dean Harrison
51:37these two are well
51:38away out front
51:39but this battle
51:40coops
51:41accelerates from
51:41Mill Road
51:42roundabout
51:42and passes
51:43Alastair Sealy
51:44before we get to
51:45that flat out
51:46station corner
51:46there's no roll
51:47at all
51:48these guys just
51:49flat out from
51:49Mill Road
51:50all the way down
51:51to the braking
51:51area
51:52at University
51:53on the Supersport
51:53bike
51:55and it's so long
51:56flat out
51:57you can hear
51:57stress on the engines
51:58on the chains
51:59on the tyres
52:00are quite extraordinary
52:01Richard Cooper
52:01the BPP
52:03BPE
52:03Russell Racing
52:04machine
52:04the bike
52:05he's ridden here
52:05many many times
52:06before
52:06and won on it
52:07let's wait and see
52:08what happens now
52:08when they spread
52:09themselves out
52:09all over the track
52:10into that braking
52:11area
52:11Cooper leads it
52:1247
52:13this is your
52:14third place battle
52:15going on
52:16on track
52:16at the moment
52:17so
52:17Josh Brooks
52:18has been pushed
52:19back gain
52:20to the back
52:20Alistair Seeley
52:21holds that
52:22fourth place
52:23at the moment
52:23on the 34 machine
52:24he's light
52:25and he's fast
52:26it's kind of
52:27what you need
52:28for bikes
52:29that are regulated
52:30into the Supersport
52:31rules
52:31this is a heck
52:32of a battle
52:33isn't it
52:33for the podium
52:34for the final
52:34podium position
52:36scratching away
52:37good shot
52:38of the style
52:39of the Wii
52:40man
52:40the Wii
52:40wizard
52:43listen to the
52:44booming Ducati
52:45compared with
52:45the screaming
52:46Honda
52:47of Dean Harrison
52:49in second place
52:49Alistair Seeley
52:5129 wins
52:52around here
52:52I think
52:5245 podiums
52:54for Seeley
52:55here we go
52:55and Dunlop
52:56stretched out
52:56a little bit
52:57yeah
52:57I think that
52:58is pretty indicative
52:59of what Dunlop
53:00is capable of
53:01we saw what
53:01he could do
53:01last year
53:02on that particular
53:03Supersport bike
53:04take another look
53:05at what's going
53:06on here
53:07so this is
53:08the 384 machine
53:10and that's
53:11Mauro Poncini
53:12getting himself
53:12in a bit of a muddle
53:13Mauro Poncini
53:14then good save
53:15sir
53:15massive
53:16how he got
53:17stayed on that
53:17he did a really
53:18good job
53:19Joey Thompson
53:19had a good view
53:20of it
53:20that's for sure
53:20the 74
53:21he'd have been
53:22wondering whether
53:22he was going
53:23to be catching him
53:24Mill Road
53:24we're on Mill Road
53:25again up towards
53:26the roundabout
53:26we're on lap 5
53:27one more to go
53:30they've all crossed
53:31the line
53:32in order
53:33nothing as much
53:34has changed
53:34oh
53:35Cooper
53:36Koops
53:36oh
53:36Koops has rammed him
53:38Koops got it all
53:39wrong
53:39Koops
53:40absolutely
53:41well I mentioned
53:41earlier on
53:42he looked a little
53:43bit scruffy
53:43this week
53:44and that
53:45really just
53:46underlined that
53:47massively
53:47so that might
53:48well be a red flag
53:49because Koops
53:50just that mess
53:52that's going to be
53:52at Mill Road
53:53here's Josh Brooks
53:54getting back into
53:56the slipstream
53:57of the 34
53:58Alice Osele
53:59but at the Mill Road
54:00roundabout
54:01that is a mess
54:02yeah
54:02he looked like
54:03Koops nearly
54:03missed his braking
54:05point or something
54:05went wrong
54:06absolutely nailed
54:07Jordan
54:08it was a hop
54:08skip and a jump
54:09wasn't it
54:09he got on the
54:10brakes
54:10he just
54:11couldn't
54:11scrub the
54:12speed off
54:12before he
54:13he rammed
54:15Paul Jordan
54:15Paul Jordan
54:16in the rear
54:17so Paul Jordan
54:18he's not going to
54:18be happy
54:18he's been the
54:19target
54:19a few people
54:20have rubbed
54:21themselves up
54:22against him
54:22Koops had already
54:23run him off the
54:24road beforehand
54:24but anyway
54:25this is the final
54:25podium position
54:26we're looking at
54:27so is it going to
54:28be
54:28will it be
54:28Brooks
54:29or will it
54:29be Alistair
54:30Seeley
54:32of course
54:33if we get a
54:33red flag
54:34it'll go back
54:35to the previous
54:36lap
54:36so wherever
54:37they were
54:37the previous
54:38lap
54:38here's your
54:38race leader
54:39so if there's
54:40a red flag
54:40it will be
54:41Michael Dunlop
54:42from Dean
54:42Harrison
54:42it is a red
54:43flag
54:43so that is it
54:45Michael Dunlop
54:46will be declared
54:47the winner
54:47from Dean
54:47Harrison
54:48they don't know
54:48it yet
54:49but they will
54:49fairly soon
54:50red flag
54:51then
54:51this is the
54:52result
54:54Dunlop
54:54Harrison
54:55Brooks
54:55Seeley
54:56only gets
54:56fourth
54:56he'll be
54:57disappointed
54:57Phillips
54:58Rhys
54:58Brown
54:59Dom
54:59Herbertson
55:00Pierre
55:00Yves
55:00Bien
55:01and Michael
55:01Evans
55:01are your
55:02top ten
55:05this is
55:05a special
55:06place for
55:07you
55:07what does
55:07it mean
55:07to get
55:08another
55:08victory
55:09it's nice
55:10especially
55:10at home
55:11it's lovely
55:12to add
55:12another one
55:13to the
55:13collection
55:13I knew
55:16this week
55:16was going
55:16to be
55:16hard
55:16obviously
55:17with the
55:17late
55:18changes
55:18and all
55:19the
55:19manufacture
55:21things
55:21and all
55:22that
55:22I knew
55:22it was
55:22going to
55:22be
55:22definitely
55:23difficult
55:23but
55:23to win
55:24round
55:24here
55:24is
55:24lovely
55:29Dean
55:29I can
55:30tell
55:30by the
55:30look
55:30on your
55:31face
55:31you're
55:32not
55:32happy
55:33that
55:33it
55:33ended
55:33that
55:33way
55:34no
55:34honestly
55:35I felt
55:35comfortable
55:36where I
55:36was
55:37sat
55:37there
55:37I
55:37just
55:37that
55:38lap
55:38I
55:38just
55:38got
55:39right
55:39close
55:40to him
55:40so
55:40I
55:40thought
55:40right
55:41coming up
55:41last lap
55:42I'll
55:42be
55:42plan
55:42more
55:43to
55:43have
55:43a
55:43go
55:44somewhere
55:44but
55:45obviously
55:45the
55:45red flag
55:45came out
55:46and cut
55:46the
55:46fun
55:47short
55:47unfortunately
55:52Josh
55:53how good
55:53to be

55:54yeah
55:54it's
