00:11Magistrate Khairunisak Hasni on Thursday granted a discharge and acquittal after prosecutors informed the court
00:18that the Attorney General's chambers had accepted Naimwi's second representation to drop the charges.
00:24His first representation, submitted last month, had been rejected.
00:28In January, Naimwi pleaded not guilty to allegedly possessing 0.78 kg of sildenafil under the Poisons Act 1952
00:39and 1.57 kg of methamphetamine under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
00:46The offences were allegedly committed at a hotel near Jalan Conley on October 22 last year.
