Cobham, London, UK
Transcript
00:00Can we do a little bit of a roll call in terms of injuries, particularly some of the England guys.
00:06Rhys James has 27 plus minutes on the weekend. How is he? Did he come through okay?
00:13Yeah, he's trained well this week. Happy with Rhys. Good to get him some minutes.
00:17I thought he played well when he came on as well. So, yeah, largely positive around Rhys.
00:21And around him going forward, because England are beginning to lose a few right backs.
00:26There's nothing in your mind that suggests that he won't be fit or good to go over the next few
00:32months for England?
00:34I can only comment on the last week, probably, and the lead up to the Liverpool game.
00:40We were confident he was able to play those minutes in Liverpool. He came through them well.
00:44He's trained well this week. So, yeah, we're really hopeful we can finish the season in that sort of form.
00:50On the same kind of thing, Levi Colwell obviously came back for you, played the whole game.
00:56It's tricky, isn't it, coming back mostly else. But he's been good to go this week?
01:01Same sort of story. He's had really good rehab. He's played a few games before.
01:07He played for us against Forrest, I think his first game back was.
01:10He played for the 21s two or three times. So, again, a really good training week.
01:14I thought Levi was exceptional against Liverpool. So, again, we're really hopeful.
01:17And in terms of him, he could have a few more games left. Is he targeting England?
01:25Because there's a feeling that Thomas Suka could well use a player with that skill set in his side.
01:31And does Levi feel comfortable and confident enough to kind of go after it?
01:37I actually haven't had that conversation with Levi. I think he's naturally focused on getting himself back,
01:43playing for Chelsea, and which he's done that now. I'm assuming he wants to keep performing
01:48at the level we did against Liverpool. And I can't give you an answer on that one. Sorry.
01:53But as long as he's fully fit well and ready to go, as far as you're concerned?
01:57Yeah. He played really well against Liverpool. I thought he was exceptional.
02:01Speaks a lot about him being able to put that sort of performance in after that time off
02:05at a really difficult place. Has trained well this week.
02:08And we're looking forward to potentially having him on Saturday as well.
02:12And how are a few of your others?
02:14Pedro Neto, who else? None of the other wingers are going to make it. Are there any other injury doubts?
02:21Is that his final?
02:23Pedro Neto and Alia Gonaccio have trained well this week.
02:25So looking really good, really hopeful with them as well. So, yeah, positive signs.
