00:00On today's Media Missed Minute, a former CIA director says there is a, quote,
00:04legion of professionals inside the federal government pushing back against the Trump administration
00:10and inside the new video game that combines satire and President Trump's war with Iran.
00:20I'm Craig DeGrelli, and this is Media Missed Minute.
00:23Today we're looking at two stories getting little attention in partisan media spaces,
00:27starting with what the left is missing.
00:30Former CIA director John Brennan claiming there are career officials across the federal government
00:35refusing to carry out what he describes as politically motivated actions by the Trump administration.
00:42Watch.
00:42There's still a legion of professionals in the law enforcement environment,
00:48the Department of Justice, as well as the CIA and other places,
00:51the ones who are refusing to follow politically motivated prosecutions,
00:57those who are refusing to support any type of political activities on the part of the Trump administration
01:04that are inconsistent with the authorities, the responsibilities of the intelligence community,
01:09law enforcement community, and Department of Justice.
01:11So we have to rely on these individuals to stand up to their professional responsibilities,
01:16and also to the courts, to the judges.
01:17Brennan, who served as CIA director under President Obama,
01:22is currently under FBI investigation over his role in the intelligence community's assessment
01:27of Russian interference in the 2016 election.
01:31Now to what the right is ignoring.
01:33A new interactive installation in Washington, D.C.
01:36is taking aim at what its creators called the gamification of modern warfare under the Trump administration.
01:43The video game, titled Operation Epic Furious Straight to Hell,
01:48puts players in the role of President Trump, featuring, quote,
01:53furious tweet battles alongside combat scenes that blend real war footage
01:57with styles and imagery resembling games like Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty.
02:02The creators of the installation say the project is meant to criticize what they view
02:07as the use of video game-style content and hype reels to sell military action online.
