00:02President Trump is set to bring his cabinet together at the White House later this morning
00:07as talks with Iran move forward, despite new claims from Tehran that the U.S. violated the
00:12ceasefire. Iran released video Tuesday that it claims shows its military responding to recent
00:18U.S. actions, including what it says was the shootdown of an American drone and the tracking
00:24of an F-35 fighter jet following American strikes earlier this week. An official with Iran's
00:30Revolutionary Guard told the semi-official Tasnim News Agency that a return to full-scale fighting
00:36is unlikely, but warned that if the war restarts, Iran is prepared to turn its southern coast
00:43into a graveyard for aggressors. Despite the rhetoric, the Trump administration continues
00:48to project optimism about a deal. Vice President J.D. Vance told NBC News he's extremely hopeful
00:54Iran will agree to an arrangement that prevents it from developing nuclear weapons. Vance said
01:00the bigger challenge will be building an enforcement system that, quote, gives us confidence that they
01:05won't violate the deal in the future. Meanwhile, U.S. Central Command said Tuesday its ongoing naval
01:12operations have turned away 108 vessels attempting to enter or exit Iranian ports.
01:17Iran has called those actions a violation of the ceasefire. Trump and his top advisers are expected
01:24to discuss Iran, along with other foreign and domestic issues, during today's Cabinet meeting.
01:29The meeting was originally planned for Camp David, but it has since been moved to the White House
01:33due to weather concerns.
