00:17Tonight, join Jimmy and his guests, Sigourney Weaver,
00:20Andrew Rannell, musical guest, The Black Key,
00:24and featuring the legendary Ruth Kirk.
00:30And now, here he is, Jimmy Fallon!
01:03That's a great crowd right there.
01:05Thank you very much. Enjoy yourself. Enjoy yourself.
01:08Welcome, everybody. Welcome, welcome, welcome to The Tonight Show.
01:12This is it.
01:15Now let's get to some news here, you guys.
01:18Tomorrow, President Trump will arrive in China for a high-stakes summit,
01:22meeting with President Xi Jinping.
01:24Trump's really excited to visit China.
01:25He said he can't wait to see where all of his hats are born.
01:31It's actually nice when Trump's in China,
01:32because with the time change, his 2 a.m. truth social rants are at a normal time.
01:38Yeah, Trump is there to negotiate big trade deals with China,
01:41but I'm a little worried because he thinks Mandarin is the guy who carries around Baby Yoda.
01:44So, that's going to be tough.
01:48The two leaders aren't expected to make any kind of major deal.
01:51Yeah, it's nice.
01:52Trump can take a break from not making a deal with Iran to not making a deal with China.
01:57Oh, and people are talking about this.
01:59The president just started his latest renovation project,
02:02painting the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool American flag blue.
02:07Yeah, and he posted a photo of what it would look like.
02:10Check this out.
02:11Yeah.
02:13I don't know.
02:13That's less American flag and more roof of the IHOP.
02:20Between the Rose Garden remodel, the ballroom, and a new pool,
02:23I'm pretty sure Trump's trying to flip the White House.
02:27Well, some business news.
02:28I read that Spirit Airlines customers can now use their leftover loyalty points
02:32to buy pizza from Papa John's.
02:36God, that sentence kept getting sadder and sadder.
02:39And when Papa John's goes bankrupt next week,
02:41those points will transfer right over to Bed Bath & Beyond.
02:45Well, some more business news.
02:46OnlyFans is now valued at over $3 billion after a new investment deal.
02:52Pretty major.
02:53They just put out this video about it.
02:54Check this out.
02:55When we started OnlyFans,
02:57we never imagined we'd grow into a company worth over $3 billion.
03:01So, we'd like to thank all of our customers
03:03because none of this would have been possible without users like you.
03:08Yes, you.
03:12Day in and day out, night after night,
03:14you were there passionately supporting our creators,
03:18putting you in our top 1% of all customers.
03:22You are the backbone of our community.
03:25And without you, we wouldn't be the incredible success we are today.
03:31Thank you, Brian.
03:35I'm lucky to have them here today.
03:36Wow.
03:41And finally, I saw that Target is trying to win back customers
03:44by opening baby boutiques in hundreds of their stores.
03:48Yeah, they want to attract some of these snobbier infants
03:50who think they're too good for the baby section at Walmart.
03:53We have a great show.
03:54Give it up for The Roots, everybody.
04:07What a show we have for you tonight.
04:09She's a three-time Oscar nominee
04:11who stars in the new movie Star Wars,
04:14The Mandalorian, and Grogu,
04:16which is in theaters and IMAX May 22nd.
04:19Sigourney Weaver is here tonight.
04:22A legend.
04:23I love Sigourney Weaver.
04:25A legend.
04:27He's a very talented actor.
04:28You can see in the new film Miss You, Love You,
04:31which premieres May 29th on HBO and HBO Max.
04:34Andrew Rannells is joining us.
04:36Talented dude.
04:38I love him too.
04:40A little later in the show,
04:41we'll be playing Password with Sigourney and Andrew,
04:44so stick around for that.
04:45And we got great music tonight from The Black Keys.
04:49Oh, yeah.
04:54Good music tonight.
04:55I love The Black Keys.
04:57All right, you guys,
04:57I've been thinking about this recently.
04:59You know companies are always asking you
05:00to sign their huge list of terms and conditions?
05:02Mm-hmm.
05:03You know, you just click it and you agree to it?
05:05Well, no one actually reads these things, right?
05:07So that ends now, I think.
05:09It's time for tonight's show, Terms and Conditions.
05:12Here we go.
05:13Terms and Conditions.
05:15What is in the pocket?
05:17Let's find out.
05:18All right, tonight we're taking a close look
05:21at the fine print and the terms and conditions
05:23for Avis Rent-A-Car.
05:24Okay.
05:26Let's see what we're agreeing to here, okay?
05:28Look right here.
05:29It says,
05:31you acknowledge that the vehicle provided
05:33remains the property of Avis.
05:35Okay.
05:36Right.
05:36That's reasonable.
05:37Yeah.
05:39Let's dive a little deeper here, okay?
05:40How about this over here?
05:42It says,
05:43you acknowledge that four out of every ten visits,
05:45even though it is a rental car company,
05:46Avis just straight up won't have any rental cars.
05:50You should know that in advance.
05:51Yeah.
05:52That you don't see this.
05:53And when you're signing...
05:53Look at this one here.
05:55Let's dive deeper.
05:56Wow.
05:56This one says,
05:58customers who paired their Bluetooth
05:59acknowledge the risk of future drivers
06:01seeing that they played Hey Soul Sister by train
06:0329 times in a row in the year 2026.
06:07Wow.
06:08That one's fair.
06:11I get that one.
06:12That's in there, yeah.
06:12Yeah, I get that one.
06:13That one's fair.
06:14Let's dive a little deeper.
06:15Why not?
06:15You're very deep.
06:17Yeah, I'm going to go deep in here.
06:18Man.
06:18A lot of paper.
06:19This one says, yeah, it's a big contract.
06:22It says,
06:23you acknowledge that all Avis rental cars
06:25may contain up to three ghosts.
06:28That's a little scary, you know?
06:30Wow.
06:30That's in the contract.
06:31Wow.
06:32Yeah, I mean, five.
06:34Five's too many.
06:35Three is enough.
06:38How about this one here?
06:39This one, this is odd.
06:40This one says,
06:41is anybody out there actually reading this?
06:43If so, this is Elvis.
06:44I'm alive and being held in the basement
06:47of Avis' corporate headquarters
06:48where I'm forced to write these terms and conditions.
06:51Please help.
06:53P.S. Presley.
06:54Forgot to say which Elvis.
06:56Wow.
06:58That's weird.
06:59You should...
07:01I can't believe it.
07:02You should do something about that.
07:04You're doing something about it right now.
07:06You signed it, yeah.
07:06Yeah, I signed this thing.
07:08Let's go to the last page right now.
07:09You don't believe this.
07:10This says,
07:11Avis may not be able to determine
07:12exactly what you did in this car,
07:14but God will.
07:15God will.
07:16Little dramatic.
07:18It's interesting, right?
07:19There we go.
07:20We'll keep getting to the bottom
07:21of these terms and conditions.
07:22In the meantime, stick around.
07:23We're playing Password
07:24when we come back, everybody.
07:35The Password is...
07:39Do you want to hold hands?
07:41Okay.
07:43Cork.
07:44Champagne.
07:45Oh, so close.
07:48Turn.
07:50Screw.
07:51Yeah!
08:04Welcome back to the Tonight Show, everybody.
08:05I'm Steve Higgins,
08:06and it's time to play Password.
08:08Woo!

12:38Alien.
12:39Oh!
13:01I have sat next to Grogu now a number of times, and he is so real.
13:09After studying him for a while, I can do...
13:19Oh, my God.
13:24Oh, my God.
13:25Oh, my God.
13:41I have a second.
13:42Please welcome Sigourney Weaver!
13:44Star Wars.
13:49Star Wars.
13:54Star Wars.
13:56We call it Star Wars.
13:57Look at that, babe.
13:59We call it Star Wars.
14:02That's right.
14:04That's right.
14:05It's standing ovation.
14:06That's how you do it.
14:09Come on.
14:10Come on.
14:12Uh, Sigourney Weaver, welcome back to the show.
14:15It's so fun to be here.
14:17Oh, good.
14:17They love you.
14:18We love you.
14:18Please.
14:21I want to talk about Star Wars.
14:23I want to talk about everything.
14:24First of all, thank you for playing Password with me.
14:26Oh, I know.
14:27That was so much fun.
14:28I knew we were going to do well, yeah.
14:30We are very lucky to have you on, and every time you come on, I'd like to mention your dad,
14:34Pat Weaver, who is a broadcasting legend.
14:36But your dad created, yeah, your dad created the Today Show and the Tonight Show.
14:44So because of your dad, I'm lucky enough to have this job and get to have great guests
14:48like you on the show.
14:53And because of my dad, I get to come on your show.
14:56Yeah, that's true.
14:57Yeah.
14:58Thanks, Dad.
14:58Yeah.
15:00I was looking at this cover of this magazine, and it's been 40 years since Aliens came out.
15:07I can't believe it's been 40 years.
15:09No.
15:10And this is, you got nominated for an Oscar for this one.
15:12This is the secret.
15:13I did.
15:14Yeah.
15:14I did, yeah.
15:15Can you believe it's been 40 already?
15:17Gosh.
15:18Well, a bunch of us are interviewed in the magazine, and we couldn't believe it was 40.
15:24No?
15:25It felt like yesterday.
15:25I mean, your role, Ripley's been heralded one of the greatest film characters of all
15:30time by numerous lists.
15:33How does that feel when you hear things like that?
15:35You're like, oh, yeah, that was good.
15:36Well, it's not necessarily about me.
15:41To me, it is one of the greatest written roles.
15:44Yeah.
15:45And it's structured so well.
15:48She begins as a sort of outcast, and then she's brought back in to the last situation
15:54in the world she'd want to be in.
15:56And no one listens to her, of course, because she's a woman.
16:02And then she manages to save everyone she can.
16:06Yeah.
16:07Because she's good.
16:08That's right.
16:09Iconic.
16:10Iconic role.
16:12And I actually heard that there's a line read that you initially weren't happy with the
16:16way you delivered.
16:17That's true.
16:18Which line was it, and how did you deliver it differently?
16:21Well, it's a little embarrassing.
16:23No, it's not.
16:23Famous line.
16:24Yes.
16:25Get away from her, you bitch.
16:27I came out in the power loader, you know, where I've been practicing in that for months.
16:35And I come out, and I stop, and then I said, first take, I think, get away from her, you
16:45bitch.
16:47And the acting student said to myself, that's the wrong way.
16:52It should go down.
16:54Get away from her, you bitch.
16:56Ooh.
17:00But Jim Cameron said, no, I love that reading.
17:03We're going to keep it.
17:05So you kept the first one.
17:06He kept the first one.
17:07Yeah, that's the one that became iconic.
17:09You're like, no, I shouldn't be going down.
17:11I know.
17:11I know.
17:12I have a little footnote every time I say it.
17:14No.
17:16Well, I mean, you've been in so many, God, giant franchises now.
17:20You've been in Ghostbusters, you were in Avatar, and now you're in Star Wars.
17:26I know.
17:27How many franchises?
17:28You're unbelievable.
17:30You're one in a zillion.
17:31I know.
17:32It's amazing.
17:33You can never have enough.
17:34Yeah, you can, yeah.
17:36Yeah.
17:36What was it like when you got the call to be in Star Wars?
17:39I was stunned.
17:42And I'm not that greedy.
17:45I don't sit around thinking of what other franchises can I be part of.
17:49No.
17:49And this was a franchise I had loved from afar and never expected to intersect our orbits.
17:57And, but of course, I'd always wanted to work with Jon Favreau.
18:02I admired Pedro Pascal.
18:05And I hadn't met Grogu yet.
18:08Is he as cute as he looks?
18:11I have sat next to Grogu now a number of times, and he is so real, and he is irresistible,
18:23honestly, I have to say.
18:25Yeah.
18:25And I have already offered to Jon that I can do the soundtrack for him because I can do,
18:33after studying him for a while, I can do,
18:44Oh, my God.
18:45You can be the voice of Grogu?
18:47Yeah, I can.
18:48You can be the voice of Grogu.
18:49Yeah.
18:50How many puppeteers are involved?
18:53Five.
18:53Wow.
18:54But you never see them.
18:56When I did the scene, the first scene that I do with Mando and Grogu, they kept him alive
19:04the whole time.
19:05He was always like, trying to get my food, et cetera.
19:11And I didn't realize, but they were under the table keeping him going.
19:15Wow.
19:15So even between takes, he's in character.
19:17Yes, exactly.
19:18He never, he never went, you know.
19:20No.
19:21Yeah.
19:21No.
19:21So he is alive in your head.
19:24He's real.
19:25I am convinced.
19:26Yeah.
19:27And Pedro Pascal.
19:28Oh, my gosh.
19:29I know.
19:29What's it like to that guy?
19:31He's unbelievable.
19:33He is divine.
19:35I think he's such a wonderful actor, performer, dancer, right?
19:39Yes.
19:40I don't know if he sings.
19:41He probably does.
19:43And he's just such a lovely guy.
19:46The film is fantastic.
19:48How do we set up what's going on or who you play?
19:50Ah, well, I play Colonel Ward, who came up in the rebellion as a, you know, a cohort of
20:02Princess Leia, that generation.
20:04And she's now a commander on a, on a base way out in the middle of nowhere in the outer
20:12rim where there are still a lot of, you know, evil empire warlords, you know, going around terrorizing communities and
20:22stealing and killing.
20:25And so my job is to root those, root those guys out before they somehow get too much in the
20:33way of the rebellion and squash this little fledgling republic.
20:38And so I hire what I think is the best, but then I'm staring at a guy in armor with
20:46a helmet and a little green person who only seems interested in food.
20:52And I have to, without looking in this man's eyes, I have to look at these two and go, yes.
20:59I trust you.
21:00They're the perfect guys.
21:01You are the best chance we got.
21:03Yeah.
21:03Yeah, exactly.
21:04I want to show a clip here.
21:05Sigourney Weaver in Star Wars, The Mandalorian and Grogu.
21:08Take a look.
21:09This is worth a lot more than the bounty on that imp.
21:13Well, let's call it an advance on the next mission.
21:17What next mission?
21:20Commander Coyne.
21:22Our missing Ace of Staves.
21:25No one knows what he looks like, and most believe him to be dead.
21:30Not a lot to go on.
21:32What's the play?
21:33I want you to go to now Hutta and meet with the Hutts.
21:36They've agreed to lead us to him.
21:39What's in it for them?
21:41Their nephew is being held against his will by another crime syndicate on the Outer Rim.
21:45They need a professional to get him out quickly and quietly.
21:49Where is he?
21:50They'll only tell you in person.
21:52You got a name?
21:54His name is Rod of the Hut.
21:56The only surviving heir of Crime Lord Jabba the Hutt.
21:59You ever cross his path?
22:01I tried not to.
22:05So, do we have a deal?
22:07I only hunt down Imperial War criminals.
22:09I don't work for gangsters anymore.
22:11Especially the Hutts.
22:13That's right, you don't.
22:14You work for us.
22:15And right now, this is what we need you to do.
22:19That's what I'm talking about.
22:21Come on!
22:22That's how you do it right there.
22:23Congratulations on the movie.
22:26And thanks to IMAX, everyone in tonight's audience is going home with tickets to see
22:31Star Wars, The Mandalorian, and Grogu in IMAX!
22:36Sigourney Weaver, everybody!
22:39Star Wars, Mandalorian, and Grogu are open in theaters in IMAX.
22:42May 22nd, more Tonight Show after the break.
22:45Stick around!
22:46Come on, Mac!
22:46Come on, Mac!
22:47Come on, Mac!
22:48Come on, Mac!
22:48Come on, Mac!
22:48Come on, Mac!
22:48It's right on time.
22:49Steps beyond it, not behind the line.
22:51It doesn't really matter what it is.
22:54Like, I would like to say that I was an actor who would be like, well, if the story is
22:58correct.
22:58But no, if she said it was like, girls in space, I would be like, great.
23:02Yeah, yeah, you do.
23:03Yeah.
23:14Our next guest is a Grammy-winning Tony-nominated performance.
23:18Performer who stars in the new film, Miss You, Love You, which premieres May 29th at 8 p.m. on
23:24HBO and HBO Max.
23:25Please welcome Andrew Reynolds!
23:48Andrew Reynolds!
23:49I'm back!
23:50I'm back!
23:50You are a stud!
23:51Someone told me this is my 13th time.
23:55Wow.
23:56Thank you so much for coming.
23:58You must be hard up.
23:59No!
23:59Oh, my God!
24:00No.
24:01I'm so excited to be back.
24:02You're one of my favorite guests all the time.
24:04I love you so much.
24:05You can do everything.
24:06You can sing.
24:07You've sang on the show.
24:08You've danced.
24:08You can act.
24:09You're funny.
24:10What do you...
24:11You don't have...
24:11You can do everything, Andrew Reynolds.
24:13Well, that's only a couple things, but...
24:14Oh, my gosh.
24:15Um, no, that's very nice.
24:17And I was reminded that the first time I met you was with Allison Janney.
24:22Yes.
24:23And now I'm in a movie with Allison Janney.
24:25Where did we...
24:26How about that?
24:27Where did we first...
24:27We don't need to talk about that, because it's...
24:30I don't think you want to remember.
24:32Bar Central?
24:33Bar Central.
24:34Okay.
24:35Yeah.
24:35I remember that.
24:36The details don't...
24:37We don't need to get into that.
24:38Let's get into the...
24:39But Allison and I...
24:41No, we had only known each other from, like, you know, hanging out.
24:45And hanging out with people like you.
24:47And then we got to do a movie together.
24:49What happened at Bar Central?
24:52Wait, did I see Book of Mormon?
24:54Do you actually want me to tell you?
24:55Yes!
24:57Is it that...
24:59Is it that scandalous?
25:00You asked me if I would hold you like a baby.
25:07And then I picked you up and wrapped your legs around my waist.
25:11And I held you like a baby.
25:12Okay.
25:14And?
25:14What's the problem with that?
25:15What's the problem with that?
25:17That sounds about right.
25:20And look at us now.
25:21And you know what?
25:22You were surprisingly light.
25:24There you go.
25:24See?
25:25Yeah.
25:25Thank you very much.
25:26You have a strong core.
25:27Thank you, House.
25:28Yeah.
25:29I do remember that.
25:30How is everybody?
25:31How is...
25:32How's your mom, by the way?
25:33My mom?
25:33Yeah.
25:34She's great.
25:34Yeah.
25:35She's great.
25:35She was very excited that I was doing this movie with Allison
25:38because she loves Mom, the TV show Mom.
25:41Yeah, of course.
25:41And she sort of, I think, thinks that Allison would know her since she watches it.
25:49So she was like, tell Allison hi.
25:52And I was like, well, she doesn't know you.
25:54But she was like, it's me, Charlotte Rannells.
25:57I watch Mom.
25:59Yeah.
26:00Do you think she knows your friends?
26:02She thinks she knows.
26:02Like, Jim Parsons was another one.
26:04Like, she loves Big Bang Theory.
26:08And she, when we were doing Boys in the Band together, Jim Parsons and I,
26:11she was like, well, tell Jim hi and tell him that, you know,
26:14and I was like, Mom, he doesn't know you.
26:17Yeah.
26:17But that's, you know.
26:18Was she like that with...
26:19But now they actually do know her.
26:20So that's fun.
26:21She's friends with everybody.
26:22Yeah, dreams.
26:23Yeah.
26:23Dreams come true.
26:24Yes.
26:24Was she a fan of girls?
26:26No.
26:27No.
26:28Not at all.
26:28She didn't like...
26:29No.
26:29I don't think she liked girls.
26:30Um, you know, which is weird because it was, like, my first, like, big TV job.
26:35But I was also doing, like, a lot of kind of dirty stuff.
26:38Dirty stuff.
26:39Yes.
26:39So she wasn't thrilled that I was, like, doing fake cocaine with Lena Dunham.
26:44Yeah.
26:44And I was, like, always naked.
26:46And, you know, I was like, she, yeah.
26:47No, that was not her thing.
26:48No, no, no.
26:49If I had been on, like, The Big Bang Theory, or Mom, she would have loved that.
26:54Yeah, yeah.
26:54But no.
26:56No.
26:56But look at where you ended up.
26:57Come on.
26:58I know.
26:58I guess.
26:59I guess.
26:59Uh, well, Lena Dunham's been all over the news recently because there are great new memoirs
27:03out.
27:03Yes.
27:04And it's getting rave reviews.
27:05Yeah, yeah, yeah.
27:05Go pick it up.
27:05But she actually said that she's on a text chain with you and that there's talk of doing
27:10a girl's movie.
27:11Oh, well, I think she's just speaking it into, you know, like, if you say something is going
27:16to happen, it probably will happen.
27:19Like, maybe HBO will feel pressure to do it.
27:22Yeah.
27:22Maybe.
27:23Why not?
27:23I think people would go see it.
27:26Would you be up for doing it?
27:28Yeah, I like to work.
27:30So I like it.
27:31I like jobs.
27:32Okay.
27:33So, like, it doesn't really matter what it is.
27:36Like, I would like to say that I was an actor who would be like, well, if the story is
27:39correct,
27:40but, no, if she said it was like, girls in space, I would be like, great.
27:44Yeah, yeah, yeah.
27:45You're doing that.
27:46When is it?
27:46I would totally do it.
27:48You've been acting since you were a kid and I thought it would be kind of fun to maybe
27:51show some headshots.
27:53Who is this fun for that you're going to show my old headshot?
28:00All right.
28:01All right.
28:02I like seeing old headshots.
28:04Okay.
28:05But here's what I think would be good if we showed the headshot and then maybe pitch what
28:09that child actor would be good for.
28:11Oof.
28:11This is going to be rough.
28:13Here we go.
28:13This is Andrew Reynolds.
28:15Young.
28:15Oh.
28:16Yeah.
28:17No.
28:17Yeah.
28:18I like that.
28:18That's, we're the same age.
28:20That's a silk shirt, you guys.
28:22Yes.
28:23And in the 90s, if you had a silk shirt, you were, that was solid.
28:27Yes.
28:28I would trust this.
28:29That kid is on a milk carton.
28:32He goes missing.
28:34I feel like that's, yeah.
28:35No, no, no.
28:36Things don't end well.
28:38No.
28:38Do you want to see a kid that ends up on a milk carton and goes missing?
28:41This, look at this guy.
28:42Oh, wow.
28:44Wow.
28:45What was, those brows.
28:47Yeah, I got, yeah, they're still the same brows.
28:48That was a headshot?
28:50That was my headshot.
28:51I, what do you remember about taking this one?
28:52Do you remember?
28:53Well, I remember there was a stool and he was like, do you want to lean on the stool?
28:57Um, and I was like, I guess.
29:00Um, your headshot, you look like you run a dry cleaners.
29:06I don't know.
29:07Yeah, a young, you're like a young businessman.
29:10He looked like a young, old man.
29:11Yeah.
29:13Hearted right in the middle.
29:14Right in the middle.
29:15I tried that for a while, too.
29:16It did not work.
29:17But I remember we went, there was one photographer in our, in our town, Saugerties, New York.
29:21Shout out to Saugerties, my hometown.
29:22Saugerties.
29:22Uh, and there was one guy who, who did photography.
29:26That was his job.
29:28Like, that was his whole shop.
29:29It was a lot of money.
29:30Where were you taking that headshot?
29:32Were you taking it around to, like, for commercial auditions, or?
29:34I think it was, I was starting to do stand-up comedy.
29:37So this would be.
29:38How old are you in that picture?
29:39Somebody would be like, hey, you want to laugh?
29:41Wait, this is for, this is for stand-up?
29:43That's for stand, look at how funny he is.
29:47That's a sad picture.
29:49Well, that's the best.
29:50For stand-up.
29:51But okay, all right.
29:52I don't think I had bad teeth.
29:54I don't know why I didn't smile.
29:55Do you got, do you got another one?
29:56Yeah, here we go.
29:57I got another one.
29:57Let's see.
29:58Let, give me, give me another one.
29:59Oh, where's.
30:00Oh, well, no, that's me.
30:01Yeah, but I got another one.
30:02Okay.
30:03Wait, you kind of kept this pose, but instead of a stool.
30:06I know.
30:06I lifted it up.
30:07I put a soccer ball.
30:08This is me being super straight.
30:11I play sports ball.
30:14Sports ball.
30:15Look at me.
30:16I play sports ball, and I like girls.
30:18Yeah.
30:19Yeah, no, I look like a precious moment.
30:22No.
30:23It's not great.
30:23A precious moment.
30:25It's not great.
30:25I like that, kid.
30:26Okay, what are you, what about these?
30:28Is this you?
30:28What about these guys?
30:29Oh.
30:30What would they team up?
30:31Well, oh, wow.
30:33Well, I look like, like a ladies lacrosse coach.
30:37No.
30:37And you, you also, we both look like lesbians.
30:42Yeah.
30:46We both, we both look like high power lesbians.
30:52We started a business.
30:55We're doing great.
30:56I had the spiked.
30:57We're doing great work.
30:58We're doing great work.
30:59Yeah.
30:59Yeah.
31:01I think, right?
31:02Isn't that trash?
31:03I was going to say two, two skater kids on a Saturday morning, Saturday morning show.
31:08Skater kids?
31:08Yeah.
31:09Well, yes, we also could have done Saturday morning work, but I went to lesbian business.
31:13Let's go to, let's go to some of your projects that you have out.
31:17First of all, you're in the second season of Deli Boys.
31:19Deli Boys.
31:20Yes.
31:21Oh my gosh, super funny.
31:22So funny.
31:23It appears May 28th.
31:24Yes.
31:24On Hulu.
31:25Yes.
31:25How'd you get involved with that?
31:27Jenny Connor, who was the showrunner of Girls, also is the showrunner of Deli Boys.
31:32And I blackmailed her into giving me a job.
31:36So she asked me, no, she asked me to come back and work with them.
31:40And it's such a fantastic show.
31:42I was so thrilled.
31:43Fred Armisen is also a guest.
31:45Is he there this season?
31:46Yeah, yeah, yeah.
31:47Oh, fantastic.
31:48So you know Fred.
31:49Of course.
31:50Yeah, no, so it was so much fun to do.
31:53And yeah, so that comes out on the 28th.
31:55And then Miss You, Love You.
31:56You have a film called Miss You, Love You.
31:58And you were telling me backstage that it was just you and Allison, basically.
32:02Yeah, it's like me and, yes, yes.
32:05Way to sell it.
32:07It's just me.
32:07No, no.
32:08No, in a great way, in a great way.
32:10It's me and Allison Janney.
32:11I love Allison Janney.
32:12It's a Jim Rash, who's incredible.
32:15Yeah.
32:15Jim Rash, who, you know, won an Oscar for writing The Descendants.
32:20And he wrote this really beautiful story about these two people who are sort of thrown together
32:24and inadvertently process a lot of grief and pain.
32:30But it's funny.
32:32Yeah.
32:32But you were saying backstage that they don't really make films like this anymore.
32:37They don't really.
32:37It's like two people who are just sort of processing their feelings and also...
32:44There's no tricks to this.
32:45There's no tricks.
32:45We're not vampires at the end or anything like that.
32:49And HBO, God bless them, like HBO saw this movie and they were like, we think we have a great
32:54home for this.
32:55And I'm so, so grateful that they are sharing it with people.
33:00Fantastic.
33:00I want to show everyone a clip.
33:01Here's Andrew Reynolds in Miss You, Love You.
33:03Hey, take a lift.
33:04Um, Kathy, the succulent, the one that Henry and Diane bought here, um, it's not doing well.
33:11Oh, no.
33:12I know.
33:12I know.
33:13And I'm wondering if maybe it wasn't in the healthiest of conditions when they got it, because it doesn't seem
33:19like they did anything wrong.
33:21And it's likely Diane will be able to save it, but it's just, you know, it's a little disappointing.
33:25Of course.
33:27I'm so sorry.
33:28No, no, no.
33:28I only mentioned it because of Henry.
33:31Because he just, he loved plants and they were very much a passion of his.
33:36And your cousin recommended you.
33:39No, say no more.
33:40Please, let me try and make it right.
33:4230% off.
33:43What?
33:43No.
33:44Oh, Kathy.
33:45I insist.
33:46Well, thank you.
33:49Take your victory lap quickly.
33:52Can you believe this cold weather?
33:53I mean, I've been here a while, but when you hear desert, you think it's got to be hot.
33:58I know.
33:59Andrew Reynolds' Miss You, Love You premieres May 29th on HBO at HBO Max.
