00:00I've spent the last four months on a serious winter rebuild, fixing my swing
00:04and hitting the gym hard. The progress has been impressive with increased club
00:08head speed, strength and mobility but now it's time to see what the new Ben Ross
00:12range can do for the new me. We're here at American Golf Leeds to get fitted for
00:17the new RS line of Ben Ross clubs and if the last three years are anything to go
00:21by that could take my game to the next level. The data doesn't lie, during the
00:25fitting my club head speed driver went up by 14 miles per hour versus my old
00:30Delta XT and with the new Ben Ross RS irons I'm seeing an extra 10 yards carry
00:34distance on average and a seven mile per hour ball speed boost. So interestingly
00:39Simon I came in with a real issue around the fact that the top end of my bag, my
00:43hybrid, my fairway width I was seeing no real improvement in distance, carry
00:46distance from a five iron and had a massive gap to my driver so what we've
00:50done today is you've now fitted me into the standard up to five iron, you've gone
00:55four hybrids which mirrors what I've got currently but then switching out my
00:59three wood you've now gone for five wood and a seven wood to give me a bit more
01:02launch, a bit more loft and then the driver in the RS Max giving me a little
01:07bit more forgiveness, a little bit more distance. And obviously we've fitted into a
01:11Ventus Black 6S shaft which will then run through rest of your fairway woods and
01:17hybrid just for that consistency through your bag. And then in the irons?
01:21Five iron, six iron, seven iron in the RS 300 up to a eight iron, nine iron pitching
01:27wedge in the RS 200 just to give you a little bit more versatility in terms of
01:32more playability in the top end of your bag and a little bit more forgiveness in
01:36your long irons. The progress is there, the swing is ready and now the bag is
01:41optimized. Breaking 90 isn't just a dream anymore it's the mission. Huge thanks to
01:46Ben Ross and American Golf. Let's get to work.
