00:00US President Donald Trump has arrived in Beijing for two days of talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping,
00:06which will include a state banquet and high-level meetings.
00:09Before leaving Washington, Trump played down China's role in resolving the Iran conflict,
00:14which continues to disrupt shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
00:18Trump also said he would ask Xi to open up China to American companies,
00:23saying US businesses could help drive stronger economic growth.
00:29Among those travelling with Trump includes NVIDIA's Jensen Huang,
00:33Apple's Tim Cook, Tesla's Elon Musk, and BlackRock's Larry Fink,
00:37along with executives from major firms including Meta, Visa, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Boeing.
00:45Trump is on his first visit to China in nearly a decade,
00:48as he looks for economic wins and to shore up public approval after a backlash over the war he waged
00:54with Iran.
00:55Many of the CEOs on the trip have major business interests in China,
