00:00Here's what really the controversy is about.
00:02Ten days on, since the victory,
00:04there hasn't been an announcement of Chief Minister for the state of Kerala.
00:07There have been huddles, there have been discussions.
00:10Three-way contest is how it is being seen.
00:13KC Venugopal, Ramesh Chanitala and VD Satisan.
00:16Now, different groups, of course, saying that ours is the more powerful,
00:19more rational one to become the Chief Minister.
00:22But it has led to the Congress Party meeting in the national capital Delhi as well.
00:27Some of the visuals on your screen.
00:29So here's what have.
00:30Sources have informed India today that marathon meetings held in Delhi,
00:33Rahul Gandhi himself meeting senior Kerala Congress leaders.
00:36Further adding that, according to our sources,
00:38announcement is expected in the next few hours.
00:41But the BJP is going all guns blazing against Congress,
00:43high command alleging they're not capable to take any decision
00:46or resolve the infighting.
00:47They even pointed out to ongoing tussle in several Congress-truth states,
00:51lashing out at the Grand Old Party for insulting the people of Kerala.
00:59In spite of a massive mandate,
01:02the Congress has not been able to identify and choose a leader
01:08who should form the government.
01:10The infighting, the squabbles and the power-hungry politics of the Congress in Kerala
01:22has left Kerala rudderless.
01:28The Congress high command, which claims to be a high command in Delhi,
01:35they have not been able to take a decision.
01:37They have not been able to bring together a consensus.
01:40It shows the inability of the Congress' central leadership in solving such issues.
01:48Not the first time that the Congress party has had to battle different faces
01:52as frontrunners for the Chief Minister.
01:54We've seen it in different states.
01:55So I decided to bring out from our archives
01:58some of those key battles that the Congress had to really try hard to wriggle itself out of.
02:03Let's start with Karnataka, which is still on.
02:06DK Shiv Kumar, remember, consistently comes up
02:08that whether it is DK Shiv Kumar or Siddharamaya.
02:11Is DK Shiv Kumar ready now to become the Chief Minister?
02:14Siddharamaya refusing to step down.
02:16Here it happened, the rotational Chief Minister deal
02:18that was promised to them has not been implemented.
02:22Let's go to Madhya Pradesh.
02:23Remember Kamal Naath and Jyotir Aditya Sindhya.
02:26Rahul Gandhi had to literally put forth an image to show for Madhya Pradesh
02:31that they have had their talks, it's concluded and how.
02:34It was in 2018 that this controversy had come up.
02:37By 2020, Sindhya had quit the Congress, joined the BJP after the rift,
02:41became a senior minister.
02:42In Punjab, remember 2021, Amrinder Singh and the Sidhu power clash that had happened.
02:48Congress eventually picked Channi as the compromise Chief Minister.
02:51Amrinder Singh walked out of the Congress party.
02:54It was even in Rajasthan, the desert state.
02:57In 2022, Gehloth versus pilot faction war erupted,
03:00infighting, pushing the Congress into crisis.
03:03Chhattisgarh, in 2018, it was Bhagail versus TS Singh Diyo.
03:08Battle for the top position.
03:09Both were senior leaders.
03:10Who gets this time the position as the CM?
03:13Rotational CM formula was never implemented.
03:16Money MathуБХ wasn't the one.
03:24It opened the door there so that the ╨Ч╨┤ifies issued by Jokia,
