00:00Assam's identity and Assam's security will always be paramount importance for us.
00:10We will also work to develop Assam in a way so that we can contribute to the growth of the
00:19nation.
00:20So our politics will evolve around the identity of Assam and Assamese people
00:28and of course for the development of Assam.
00:32Also sir, HBS 1.0 and HBS 2.0, what are the differences?
00:37I think in my first time, it was a learning experience.
00:42At least first year, we dealt with COVID.
00:47Then subsequently, we worked but many things are there which were in pipeline
00:56but we could not materialize in our first term.
00:59And many things we have started but a long way to go.
01:04I think this tenure, Assam will see development and more development.
01:10And also because now we have a friendly government in West Bengal,
01:15I think we will be able to work together to secure our part of the nation.
01:21Also, in your previous term, you had actually, whenever you spoke to us,
01:27you spoke about some very hard legislation including UCC.
01:31Do we expect UCC very soon?
01:33I think UCC is a part of our election manifesto.
01:37So, every point, not only UCC, whatever we have mentioned in our election manifesto,
01:45we will try 100% to implement each and every word we have mentioned in manifesto including UCC.
01:56You are seen as somebody who meticulously plans government program.
02:01Have you, in your own, fixed a kind of a milestone in terms of...
02:08We have, we know what we have to do in the next five years.
02:11So, there is no doubt, there is no confusion.
02:15We know how to proceed.
02:17We know where to start.
02:19We know where to complete.
02:21So, there is no confusion in our agenda.
02:26One last thing.
02:27Many would say that yesterday it was a mega event.
02:30But that mega event in itself had a new message in terms of positioning of Assam and Northeast.
02:35You see, yesterday, Chief Minister of NDA Rule State was there.
02:42Although CM Mizuram is not within NDA,
02:45still he has come to show the solidarity of Northeast.
02:51Our spiritual masters, everybody was there.
02:57Leading industrialists were there.
02:59Cultural and sports icons were there.
03:03Even ambassadors of important countries have also come to participate in the event.
03:09So, yesterday's events demonstrate how Prime Minister Narendra Modi attests huge importance to this victory.
03:20Assam is a frontier state.
03:22We are in the extreme northeast part of the nation.
03:26And our population is diverse.
03:28And we have a huge threat from various corners.
03:35But even then, replicating NDA government for three times with a huge majority symbolize the affection, love and affection people
03:49of Assam has for the Prime Minister and vice versa.
03:52So, yesterday's demonstration, yesterday's function was a kind of respect for the Prime Minister.
04:01And Prime Minister also by attending the event, in fact, he came one night before.
04:06So, he also shows his tremendous respect, love and affection for people of Assam.
04:12And we are indebted to both Prime Minister and people of Assam.
04:16It will be an inclusive governance, that's what you're...
04:18You see, I don't know what it means, the word inclusive.
04:22But these are the words which are coined by the various intellectuals.
04:27So, I'll run my government according to the election manifesto of Bharatiya Janta Party and NDA.
04:36Within the overall ambit, obviously, we are servant of constitution.
04:41We will do according to the constitution.
04:43So, there's a time to time there's a people from the inside or the outside of the country saying about
04:49the celebratory culture after this...
04:52I think today is a day to celebrate.
04:54So, all these policy things, all these issues, you will, as we proceed, you will come to know.
05:01But one thing I must say, that after we have a government in Bengal, Assam is feeling more secure.
05:09Because we share a lot of common issues.
05:14You can commit a crime and escape to West Bengal.
05:19And West Bengal government will never collaborate or cooperate.
05:24But today, the situation has changed completely.
05:27So, I'll, what I feel, that the government of West Bengal and government of Assam now jointly work in many
05:39areas, including developing our both the states.
05:44So, this kind of friendship was never there in last 70 years, 60 years.
05:51Because if there is a Congress government, there was a CPM government, if there is a AGP government, there was
05:57a TMC government, if there is a BJP government, there was a TMC government.
06:02So, history has given us a kind of feeling of insecurity in the past.
06:09But future is looking great.
06:11Yesterday, the presence of Chief Minister of West Bengal, in our oath-taking ceremony, and the kind of love, affection,
06:21people of West Bengal have shown us during our election campaign, I think project a very bright future for the
06:29Eastern India, for the Northeast India.
06:31So, yesterday, you were, when we saw you from the stage, you were feeling very emotional at one point at
06:36a time.
06:37Can us, the emotion that you were feeling?
06:39You see, when you take vote for second time, and people of Assam, in a way, give a kind of
06:52thumbs up to your first terms.
06:55And also look at you with a lot of hopes, a lot of dreams, and they were looking at me,
07:06that this is the guy who is going to fill up your, fulfill our hopes, our aspirations.
07:12I think, obviously, every human being has to be emotional at that point of time.
07:17After all, we are not robots.
07:19Right.
07:19And we are not created by machine.
07:22So, we are human being.
07:24And this kind of situation, whether it is a marriage, whether it is somebody who left you from this world,
07:30and when you get together to celebrate a common cause, even after winning a cricket match, the winning team becomes
07:40emotional.
07:41So, these were moments where the human characters come out.
07:46So, we are, we are, I mean, nobody is above those human characters.
07:53So, those proof that we may be a political leader, we may be something, for son for somebody, father for
08:02someone, leader for somebody.
08:05But at the end of the day, we are human.
08:07And as long as we maintain our human characters, I think we will be able to deliver.
08:17So, the people to people connect of mama will continue.
08:19I mean, this is how I live.
08:21If I, if I stop that, I think Hymanto Vishwa Sarma will die.
