00:24So, who better to consult with this week than the two people who have been feeding me my weekly horoscope

00:34And we are the Astro Twins.
00:36I met with them this morning and they helped me plan my whole week ahead.
00:40We're gonna start off with your birth chart.
00:42This is a map of where all the planets were at your exact moment of birth.
00:46It's very unique to you. It's your cosmic blueprint.
00:49Actually, only someone born in the same place and time as you will have this chart.
00:53There's a real sort of balancing act in your chart between being the leader and being a team player.
01:00But you are kind of weighted more toward taking charge and leading.
01:04So, we thought a good challenge would be something where you have to take instruction.
01:08Either maybe a choreographed dance or learning an instrument.
01:12Does either of those seem like they'd be a good challenge for you?
01:15Well, I know, I know a musician.
01:17I took the twins' advice and I scheduled a guitar and keyboard lesson with my older brother, Robbie.
01:23This seemed like the perfect challenge for me to put my weakness to the test.
01:27Because when it comes to playing an instrument that you don't know, there's really no way to fake it.
01:31Either you take direction and you're successful or you don't and you fail.
01:36Do you want to play some stuff?
01:38Of course I do. That's why I came here.
01:40It takes me to be a savant.
01:43First, I want you to take your hand and think about this.
01:46When I say one, that's going to be your pointer.
01:49Finger two is going to be your middle finger.
01:52Three is your ring finger and four is your pinky.
01:54I want you to push down on the third fret and then play the bottom four strings.
02:02That's a G major chord.
02:06And you've got to be careful not to accidentally touch the high E string too.

02:14It was frustrating. It was challenging.
02:17Look at what's happening to my fingers.
02:20This is pain right here.
02:22But it was very, very rewarding.
02:24So if your sign suggests that you're bad at something, practice it until you're good at it

02:36So on Tuesday, let's work a little more with your Leo sun sign.
02:40Leos, you know, are known for being theatrical and showy.
02:44And we already know you're very comfortable on camera.
02:46But the thing that a lot of people don't know about Leo is that you're very magnanimous and noble.
02:51You're the gift givers.
02:52The twins really inspired me to add some generosity to my week.
02:56Not for a birthday, not for a special occasion, but for no reason whatsoever.
03:00Over the holiday break, my parents took my entire family on a vacation to Palm Springs, California.
03:07I thanked my parents for this experience numerous times.
03:10But why not give them something a little bit extra as one more thank you?
03:14I found my favorite family photo from the trip.
03:17We're all lined up on off-road quads holding hands and smiling.
03:20I printed the photo out in 8x10 and then I went to a local craft store and bought a pretty
03:25picture frame that matched it.
03:26As you know from 5 Days of Giving, I love surprising my parents.
03:29So I went over to their apartment today and I did it again.
03:33Here we go.

03:45Today's challenge was very inspiring to me personally because I've made the resolution across multiple New Years to be a
03:52more generous and giving person.
03:54So today I challenge you to do one tiny thing for someone else that's going to make them really happy.
04:00Even if you're busy, find the time and make it happen.
04:05On Tuesday we focused on your sun sign.
04:08So Wednesday we're going to go inward to your moon sign.
04:12The moon is your emotional nature.
04:14And your moon sign is in Libra, the sign of equality and harmony and partnership.
04:19So are you in a relationship?
04:21I am.
04:22Okay.
04:22Eight years.
04:23Of course.
04:23Well that's very Libra moon, you know.
04:25I know.
04:26Long time.
04:27Your challenge today.
04:28Well, is there anything in your relationship that might be a little off balance?
04:34Physical space maybe in our tight New York apartment.
04:37Oh, you guys live together.
04:38Yeah, for sure.
04:39Yeah, we just moved in together and if I'm visualizing our apartment right now, it's like 75% taken up
04:46by my staff.
04:48Well, that's your challenge for Wednesday then.
04:50Even out the apartment.
04:52I moved in with my boyfriend this past summer and let me tell you, moving is hard.
04:57Finding space for everything is hard.
05:00And for me, being a girl means too much clothing.
05:04So I had an Ikea closet structure built in my bedroom to give me more space.
05:09And we tried to split the built-in closet in half, but my stuff has definitely been encroaching on his
05:17space.
05:18And not only that, but he has absolutely no room for his golf clubs, so they're currently set up in
05:24the middle of our living room.
05:25How romantic.
05:26So today, I cleaned out our shared closet so that Michael has his half.
05:31And then I made some much needed space in our hallway closet for his golf clubs.
05:36Look!
05:36Look how much room he has!
05:38I did a good job!
05:40Thursday, we're going to focus on love and compatibility.
05:44So we know you're in a relationship now.
05:46What sign is your boyfriend?
05:48He is a Cancer.
05:49So Leos and Cancers together tend to be really good caretakers.
05:54Interesting.
05:54So I wonder if we could have you do a challenge where you maybe took care of a kid or
06:01an animal together?
06:02Do you have a friend who would let you borrow their kid or pet for the day?
06:07Hmm.
06:08Gotta think about this one.
06:09Yeah.
06:10So we couldn't find any kids lying around, and Michael isn't a huge fan of pets.
06:17We really need to change that.
06:18But we did think of something else that the two of us could take care of together.
06:23Any guesses?
06:24A plant!
06:25It sounds trivial, but we've never actually had a living plant in this apartment.
06:30So that means we don't really know how to take care of one.
06:33And a little insider info from 5 Days of DIY when I made myself indoor herbs.
06:38They all died.
06:40So I guess that green thumb I thought I had is actually not green.
06:46We started easy with a terrarium type mini garden of succulents.
06:51We hand picked each plant from the flower district and then put it together in the dish, putting pebbles on
06:56the top to make it really pretty.
06:57And we'll be sure to take on the very difficult and demanding task of watering it once every two weeks.
07:04You know another thing I'm thinking is that Leo's a fire sign and cancer is super domestic so you could
07:10also try cooking together.
07:11Then we followed that advice too and we made a nice meal together.
07:15This is some dreamy teamwork.
07:18Living in New York City and working late hours, all we want to do when we get home is order
07:23dinner in or eat a bowl of cereal.
07:25But cooking saves you so much money and it's so much fun.
07:31So I'm reminding myself right now to cook.
07:40I want to talk about twins today because I told you guys I have a twin sister just like you.
07:45Yeah.
07:45And my twin obviously is a Leo, but she's a very different personality from me.
07:50She hates being on camera, hates being in the spotlight.
07:53So how do you describe that?
07:55You guys were born with Mercury retrograde in your chart, as were we.
08:00So that can also give sometimes a tendency to shyness or holding back.
08:04So a good challenge would be like a little personality switch, a little Freaky Friday action,
08:09where you put her in the spotlight and you kind of take a step back.
08:14I'm so excited about this day.
08:17Dream come true.
08:18Ever since we were young, my twin sister has been avoiding the spotlight.
08:22Today, I broke her out of her shell.
08:25I invited her to my apartment, set up my studio lights.
08:29Oh my goodness.
08:30Did a little bit of makeup on her and we had a Fink family photo shoot.
08:34We're making her a star.
08:37No boy can touch this.
08:39Say, I'm Ally Fink and I'm damn sexy.
08:45Okay, don't say it.
08:47Just, just, just smile like you know it.
08:49She's a Leo too, so deep down I know she secretly loves this.
08:53But I guess some people just need a little push.
08:57Gorgeous.

09:08After taking the Astro Twins advice this week, I've really started to love astrology.
09:13The activities I tried made me feel challenged, inspired, and happy.
09:17And from now on, I'm going to let my horoscope influence my decisions.
09:20But of course, only in ways that will help me grow and better myself.
