01:00but Roatan could be that place that saves our marriage.

01:54our daughter is five years old. Crazy to think about such a drastic step, but you know, I think
02:00it's the right thing for us. We did try reading books, self-help, counseling. I also tried using ketamine
02:08in a clinical professional setting. We felt like we kind of exhausted everything. I'm definitely looking forward to spending a

02:53I love Roatan and I've seen it grow and develop and I'm excited to show this island to somebody who's
03:01coming with fresh eyes to get a new start.
03:03Are you excited? I love it. Yeah, we're ready for this change and... All the new adventure. Roatan is an
03:09island 40 miles off the north coast of Honduras.
03:12We're lying along the second largest barrier reef in the world, the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef.
03:18It's actually very close to shore, so you can snorkel on the most amazing turquoise waters.
03:24This beautiful part where we're sitting at is between West End and West Bay, the most famous touristy spots.
03:32You're gonna find a mile-long white sandy beach with beautiful, all-inclusive resorts lining it up.
03:38Yeah, I definitely want to stick to West Bay because it's close to all the restaurants and activities and part
03:44of coming here is going on dates and being romantic.
03:47I mean, I get what you're saying, but if I feel like we can get better bang for our buck,
03:51maybe a little east.
03:52If you move a little further to Mid Island, it's equally beautiful, but a lot more residential.
03:57One thing, you know, I was hoping to be was on the beach.
04:00We could always just walk to the beach. If we had a view, that would be good, too.
04:04What will make you guys feel at home in beautiful Roatan?
04:08We want at least three bedrooms, three baths.

04:19I prefer a modern sort of minimalist.

04:34We definitely want to keep our budget to one million.
04:37I've given up my oil and gas job to come here, which provided a sense of security.
04:42While we were living in Mobile, we acquired some rental properties.
04:46So we intend to use that income to live off of here in Roatan.

16:15boutique hotels and restaurants here on the west side.
16:20It actually comes with needed access to a dock, which is a great perk.
16:25You can catch those water taxis from the dock and go to the West Bay and West End areas without
16:29the traffic.
