00:00:51Anytime you have five pitches to work with on the mound,
00:00:53that repertoire can be a real weapon in terms of keeping hitters off balance, man.
00:00:57It's one of those things that I'm going to be looking for in this one.
00:01:01Does he have a feel for all of those pitches?
00:01:04Or is he just able to get one or two over in the strike zone where he wants?
00:01:07Now, it's tough to do to be able to command all those pitches.
00:01:10But if he can, he is going to be very tough for the opponent today.
00:01:15Check swing called strike.
00:01:17And the count one and one.
00:01:19For whatever reasons, this is a hitter that performs better in night games.
00:01:23We'll see what he brings in this one.
00:01:27That's ripped into the outfield.

00:02:16Man, that's one of those at-bats where you have to remind yourself it's about the process.

00:03:30Lightning fast hands to be able to hit that velocity fastball on the inside part of the plate.
00:03:34In my experience, when you're looking out over the plate, allowing the ball to travel, it's pure reaction to hit
00:03:40a pitch in that location.
00:03:42That's a tremendous swing.
00:03:45And now, Cedric Mullins.
00:03:49And what about analytics?
00:03:51Because one of the ways it seems like they've contributed to the trend is it's not just about are you
00:03:55capable of getting deep.
00:03:57That now, focusing on the numbers, maybe the matchup is better with a different guy as the game goes on.
00:04:03Two down base is empty, but one run across here in the second game of the series.
00:04:13That one not close.
00:04:15And the count, two and one.
00:04:17Only a handful of pitchers can go through an order three times, maybe even four times.
00:04:21And the analytics have contributed to that trend, but I think there are some guys giving an opportunity.

00:04:36A lot of times in today's game, right fielders are able to get to a ball that stays in like
00:04:41that.
00:04:41He hit that one pretty well.
00:04:43And if he hits it just a little bit different on the barrel, it's out of here easily.
00:04:47But there's nothing wrong with the extra bases right there.
