José Bordalás devrait quitter Getafe en fin de saison !

José Bordalás serait proche de quitter Getafe à l’issue de la saison, alors que son contrat expire en juin 2026. Le club madrilène lui aurait proposé une prolongation jusqu’en 2028, mais l’entraîneur n’aurait pas donné suite, notamment à cause des limites économiques et du manque de marge sportive pour faire évoluer le projet.  Un possible départ qui marquerait la fin d’une véritable époque. Bordalás a profondément façonné l’identité de Getafe avec un style immédiatement reconnaissable : bloc bas, agressivité dans les duels, rythme constamment cassé, transitions rapides et jeu direct. Un football souvent critiqué pour son aspect très fermé, mais qui a pourtant permis au club de se stabiliser durablement en Liga.  Sous sa direction, Getafe a connu les meilleures années de son histoire récente, avec notamment une montée en première division puis une incroyable 5e place lors de la saison 2018-2019. Son importance dans la ville est telle qu’il a même été nommé “fils adoptif” de Getafe.  La grande interrogation concerne maintenant l’après-Bordalás. Des profils comme Fabio Celestini ou Veljko Paunovic sont évoqués pour lui succéder, ce qui pourrait apporter une évolution stylistique. Mais malgré cela, les contraintes financières du club resteront importantes, et Getafe devra probablement continuer à privilégier un football pragmatique pour survivre en Liga.  Concernant l’avenir de Bordalás, plusieurs pistes pourraient émerger rapidement. Son profil plaît aux clubs cherchant un entraîneur capable de construire une équipe compétitive avec peu de moyens. Crystal Palace a notamment été cité.
