00:07as tensions between Tehran and Washington remain high.
00:11Spokesperson Ismail Bagaye says Iran's response to a U.S. proposal sent via Pakistan on Sunday was not excessive.

00:27the release of frozen Iranian assets and guarantees for safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
00:34Bagaye also described the offer as legitimate and generous, adding that it includes wider regional security considerations, including Lebanon.
00:44The remarks come after U.S. President Donald Trump rejected Tehran's response,
00:50accusing Iran of failing to meet American conditions in negotiations.
01:19He also warned European countries against any plans to deploy naval forces to the Strait of Hormuz,
01:25saying they should not align with what he called U.S. and Israeli actions.
01:29He cautioned that any intervention in the Strait or the Persian Gulf would worsen tensions and push up global energy
