00:02When you're in the moment, you know, when there's something that's like, you know, I feel like Coloring Book was
00:07very different than a lot of the rap that was coming out at that time.
00:11It set a new precedence with, you know, a lot of the awards ceremonies in terms of how they view
00:16independent artists, how they viewed streaming.
00:19That was at the beginning of, you know, what we consider the major DSPs now.
00:25It was just a different time, but because there's so much movement, it gets to a point where you can't
00:32really live in the moment.
00:34You know what I mean?
00:35Like you can't really see everything that's happening to you.
00:37And so getting to this point 10 years later and meeting so many people that are like, you know, the
00:42memories that they built to it.
00:44You know, they had kids or they showed their little brother or their big brother showed it to them when
00:48they were a child.
00:48It's just like, you know, hearing these stories 10 years later, it validates everything.
00:54It makes it make sense why I was allotted so much love and adulation at that time.
01:04It was because it really had a grand effect on those people.
01:08It wasn't just like a hit song or something.
01:10Not to downplay hit songs.
01:11Hit songs matter a lot.
01:13But whatever was happening with that project, it permeated through time to be something that became a part of people.
