00:21You're back.

00:25So...
00:27Um...
00:29Well, you know, Haley, I told my mom I like girls with curly hair, but wait, before you answer, your
00:39hair is fine, just the way it is.
00:43Mm.
00:45That's very nice.
00:46Thanks.
00:47Yeah, I just, I want to know what you think about.
00:52Look, I think you're, uh, you're being, acting weird, but it is okay to be weird, but I really like
01:02you a lot.
01:03And you're the nicest guy I ever know.
01:07Thanks.
01:09You're just, you're just the most nicest girl.
01:13Thanks, it is.
01:14It's kind of my thing.
01:20Here's your check tonight, sir.
01:21Oh, excuse me, I need your help.
01:23Can I get a 20% tip?
01:25Yes, of course, sir.
01:26Okay, really good.
01:26All you need to do is write that first here on that line.
01:29All right, like this?
01:30Yeah, that's perfect.
01:31And then I'll just need your best signature right here, sir.
01:34Oh.
01:35Oh, my gosh.
01:38I did it.
01:40I'll let you keep your cards.
01:41Okay.
01:41Thank you for dining with me tonight.
01:43Thank you so much.
01:43Thank you for having us.
01:44Of course, of course.
01:46We didn't get to have cheesecake, but you know, we could split one sometime if you want.
01:50I would like you to have some cheesecake with you.
01:54Do you eat donuts?
01:56Yeah.
01:57You want to know who loves donuts?
01:58Homer Simpson.
01:59Well, I don't watch adult cartoons.
02:01You're not allowed?
02:02I hate Family Guy.
02:04I hate American Dad.
02:05I hate everything.
02:08Me too.
02:10Really?
02:11Because they're always saying bad words and always doing that nasty stuff.
02:14Exactly.
02:15A lot of foul languages, which I hate.
02:18I still have a lot in common with you.
02:21Hmm.
02:22And you know something?
02:23I don't need curvy-haired girls to make me happy.
02:26If there's anybody in the world that makes me happy, it's you, Hayley.
02:33That's very nice of you, Logan.
02:36That's cool.
02:38You ready to go?
02:39Yeah.
02:40Let's go.
02:48You know, I had a lot of fun.
02:50Um, did you?
02:52Yeah, I do.
02:54I really like you a lot.
02:57Mostly.
02:59Well, that's great.
03:01You're so nice and you're so caring and you work with kids and I really like you a lot.
03:09It's great to just see you, Logan.
03:12Would you like to go on another date with me?
03:17I would like to go on another date with you, Logan.
03:20Thanks.
03:21I mean, cool.
03:24I was wondering, do you want a hug or a kiss?
03:29Hugs?
03:34It's very nice to meet you, Logan.
03:35It was nice to meet you, too.
03:37Bye.
03:37Haley, take care of yourself.
03:39Bye.
03:49Now that's what I call dating.
03:57What's your greatest dream in life?
03:59My greatest dream, like to like get married and like have a family.
04:09When it comes to dating, like what are you kind of nervous about?
04:12Um, that they won't like me the same way I like them.
04:17Like, you know, cause kind of like non-reciprocal thing.
04:21Has that happened to you before?
04:22Yes.
04:23Lots of times.
04:24Aww.
04:25It's okay.
04:26Are you scared of getting hurt again?
04:27Yes, I'm scared of getting hurt again very much.
04:30But I know that's part of the dating process.
04:37In Provo, it's been a month since Emma's date with Austin.
04:41And today, she's stepping out to meet someone new.
04:46Hey, guys.
04:47Hey.
04:48Hey, Emma.
04:49Is it date time?
04:50Yeah.
04:51Oh, heck yeah.
04:53You're excited for this one?
04:55Yes.
04:55Were there any like awkward silences, any awkward moments during the last date?
05:00Yeah.
05:00Oh.
05:01Yeah.
05:02That's the worst.
05:03Yeah.
05:05Which is why I'm like gonna do some follow-up questions.
05:09So that way there won't be any awkward silences.
05:11That's really smart.
05:11That is a smart way to approach it.
05:13Yeah.
05:20This is a different guy you're going on a date with.
05:22Yes.
05:23We're going to the tulip festival.
05:24Oh, that's so beautiful.
05:26Yeah.
05:27Yes.
05:27So what do you want him to be like?
05:30Okay.
05:31Well, really funny.
05:32And if like he like quotes like movies, oh yeah.
05:36Or TV shows.
05:37That'd be awesome.
05:38Yeah.
05:39Who knows?
05:39You might find love today.
05:41Yeah.
05:41Yeah.
05:43That's sweet.
05:43Come on.
05:44Come here.
05:45You're going to do great.
05:46And we're so proud of you.
05:48We're so proud of you.
05:48Yeah.
05:48And we're so excited to hear everything.
05:50Oh heck yeah.
05:51Yeah.
05:51Hey.
05:52See you guys.
05:53Give them a good date.
05:54Give them a good date.
06:06Nice.
06:08Oh nice.
06:11That's nice.
06:13What are you hoping for today, Emma?
06:16Just good conversations.
06:18Maybe some romance?
06:19Yeah.
06:21Yeah.
06:21I hope that there's a connection.
06:24Yeah.
06:42Emma is meeting Eric.
06:45He likes a deli penguins and musicals.
06:50He doesn't like hospital stays or people getting eaten in movies.
06:57Hi there.
06:58Hi.

07:13It's been good.
07:14Yeah.
07:15I'm glad to hear that.
07:16How was your day?
07:17So far it's been good.
07:18You know, I can't complain.
07:19The weather's nice.
07:20Yeah.
07:21Beautiful day.
07:25I like your shirt.
07:26It's really cool.
07:27Thanks.
07:28Yeah.
07:29Yeah.
07:31Yeah.
07:32It's quite the dusty wind.
07:35Yeah.
07:36Yeah.
07:38Yeah.
07:40Yeah.
07:40Yeah.
07:41Yeah.
07:42Yeah.
07:43Yeah.
07:43Where can I sit?
07:44Sit on the edge of the bed there.
07:46Here?
07:47Yeah.
07:47Okay.
07:49Okay.
07:50I'm a little nervous.
07:51Maybe just sit.
07:52Put my crocs down, and then we can get started.
07:55Should I say my name, or should I wait for the camera to start?
07:59The camera's already started.
08:00Oh, right.
08:01Hello, you guys.
08:02My name is Dylan.
08:03I'm 22 years old, and I live in my mutter.
08:05And ever since, I've been to find love.
08:08How would you describe yourself, though?
08:10Myself would be kind, and goofy, and funny, and warm person, and a street guy.
08:17You know what a street people is, right?
08:19Street?
08:19Yeah.
08:20Like, in the streets.
08:22Oh, like, yeah, well, you're like a gangster.
08:25Exactly.
08:28Like, yo, what's up, whatever, or cool with that, I'm cool with it, or whatever.
08:34Oh.
08:34You want to find love?
08:35Yes, sir, I do.
08:37And I want to find my princess.
08:40Have you ever been on a date?
08:42Never.
08:42No, sir.
08:44Do you think you have a lot of love to give?
08:46Oh, yeah, I have so much love to give, because my heart is safe and warm.
08:53Dylan lives with his mother in Los Angeles.
08:56This is my room, Ken.
08:59This is the projector, and this is my bed, and this is my mom's bed.
09:05What's this?
09:06Turn on.
09:11Oh, this thing won't turn on.
09:13Give me a second.
09:14We need to turn on.
09:15Turn on!
09:17On already.
09:19Okay, we don't need to worry about that.
09:21It will be fixed soon.
09:23Now, this is my practice girlfriend for cuddling and hugging, per se.
09:26The pillow's your practice girlfriend.
09:28Does she have a name?
09:30No, there's no non-name, non-name, per se.
09:33Unnamed pillow girlfriend.
09:34Unnamed girl, yes, thank you, Ken.
09:36As you can see, this is my living room.
09:41This is the golden microphone I've been getting since two years ago on my birthday.
09:46It says, karaoke night is good to be the king.
09:49Yeah, face the king.
09:50I am.
09:51So what is the concern?
09:53Watch this.
09:55You know if you're tired or in the afternoon you feel tired or even want a thirstiness?
10:00Watch the magic begins.
10:02The magic will begin.
10:11Then, boom, water's there and you drink.
10:17Magic water.
10:20How much time do you spend here on your own?
10:22Well, since Monday the Fridays and every day even.
10:26Well, my mom goes to work sometime in the week and I have to stay here and watch TV like
10:31a maniac or something.
10:33How many hours a day would you say your mom worked?
10:368.30 through 8 o'clock PM.
10:39Wow, so you're alone by yourself a lot.
10:40Thank you, I appreciate it, Ken.
10:42Yeah.
10:42Do you get lonely in here?
10:44No, sometimes.
10:44My pillow friends will be there and I call them pillow friends because I need company.
10:52And I sit here in my spot like, oh yeah, that's the stuff.
10:58That is the stuff.
10:59And this you turn on the telly.
11:01Let me explain and turn on the telly.
11:03Watch this, Ken.
11:04Ready?
11:05Magic TV on.
11:08Okay, one more.
11:09It would take time.
11:10Ready?
11:11On.
11:13Magic TV on.
11:17This thing will turn on.
11:21Hi, Dylan.
11:22Hi, Mom.
11:23Come and help me, please.
11:24Sure, Mom, as you insist.
11:25Come in.
11:29How was your day?
11:31Good.
11:32Um, Candace is my mom.
11:34You may know.
11:35Because now we were talking about where you're from and where you work.
11:39Oh, you too.
11:40And you tell him where I am from.
11:42Yeah.
11:43Guatemala, I told him.
11:44And do you tell Ken where your daddy's from?
11:48Yeah, I told him it's Salvador, so I'm half and half.
11:51Mm-mm.
11:51So we're from Central America?
11:53Central America?
11:53I didn't tell him that.
11:55Ken, we're from Central America, per se.
11:59What do you think Dylan needs to work on when it comes to dating?
12:01What do you think will be the challenges for him?
12:08You know the best, Dylan.
12:12Work on, uh, be a gentle.
12:14Sorry.
12:14Be a gentleman.
12:16Be, um...
12:17Here, throw that, please.
12:20Using manners.
12:22I don't need a book for that.
12:24I'm good.
12:25Dylan, you're gonna be afraid to hold hands with a girl?
12:29Yeah, hold hands and stuff.
12:31Probably the biggest challenge is gonna be kissing the girl?
12:37Oh, let me guess.
12:38Like the Little Mermaid, please don't make that reference.
12:40Don't say that reference in front of Kian.
12:42Mm-hmm.
12:42But I'm so sorry, Kian, about that kissing girl part.
12:46If you have young children, adults, or people, whoever you are,
12:49this is my time to leave the room for saying that reference.
12:52Your cheeks turns red!
12:53Yeah!
13:04In Plant City, Madison is at Tyler's house,
13:07where he lives with his parents, Tim and Brenda.
13:11So, right now, we're at Tyler's house,
13:14and we're gonna have dinner together.
13:17Yes.
13:19Do you spend much time at Tyler's place, Madison?
13:21Yes.
13:22We spend a lot of time here and at my apartment.
13:25Yep.
13:26I've already shown off all my dolls, all my beads.
13:28Now it's Tyler's turn to show off his NASCAR collection and his cowboy hats.
13:35Let's do it.
13:37So now here is Tyler's hat rack.
13:39He has like three hat racks total.
13:41Oh, yes.
13:42Yeah, I gave Tyler this hat for Christmas.
13:44Yep.
13:45Wow, there's a Christmas dream here, Tyler.
13:47There is.
13:48So you're just as passionate about Christmas as Madison.
13:50Yes, sir.
13:51Absolutely.
13:52So here's my NASCAR stuff.
13:54So this is from my all-time favorite NASCAR driver, Jeff Gordon.
13:57This is Pepsi Chevy from the 2009 Pepsi 400 at the Auto Club Speedway,
14:02where he finished second to Jimmy Johnson.
14:04So this is Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s Coca-Cola car from the 1998 exhibition race in Japan,
14:09where he raced against Dale Sr., his dad, the first ever time they raced against each other in NASCAR.
14:14And this is Dale Sr.'s race-winning 2000 Diehardt 500 car.
14:18This is when he got that 76th and last win of his career,
14:21when he went from 17th to first in four laps to get the win at Talladega.
14:25Tyler knows as much about NASCAR as I know about Disney princesses.
14:29I have gone to some car shows for Tyler, though.
14:31Yeah, but guess what else you did?
14:33You went to the car dealership for Tyler.
14:36Yeah, Stingray Chevrolet when I got my new Chevy Trailblazer with me.
14:42Hey.
14:42Hey.
14:44I hear Chick-fil-A's for dinner tonight.
14:46Yep.
14:47Does your mom and dad like Chick-fil-A?
14:48Of course they love Chick-fil-A.
14:51How do you guys feel about Madison and Tyler as a couple?
14:55Oh, we love it.
14:57We're super excited.
14:59Very much so.
14:59And we love Madison.
15:01We love her.
15:02We do.
15:03And Tyler and her seem to balance each other so well.
15:07It's awesome.
15:08It is awesome.
15:09It's just been wonderful just to sit back
15:11and just to watch them grow together.
15:14I love you guys, too.
15:16We do love you, Madison.
15:24Mom and dad are here.
15:26Hello.
15:27Hey, guys.
15:29Hey.
15:29Wow, Tyler, you do have a big Christmas tree.
15:31Hey, sweetie.
15:31How you doing?
15:32Sweetie.
15:32You been having fun over here today?
15:33Yes, I am.
15:34Good.
15:34Hey.
15:35How are you?
15:35Good to see you.
15:36Good to see you.
15:37Hi.
15:38Hey, guys.
15:38How are you?
15:39Doing all right?
15:40Doing great.
15:40Good to see you.
15:41These are for you.
15:42Oh, thank you.
15:43They're beautiful.
15:44He wasn't kidding about the big Christmas tree in the house,
15:47was he?
15:47There was two of them.
15:48Yeah, there was two of them in the foyer.
15:50Yeah.
15:51Thank you for making her feel so welcome.
15:52Yeah.
15:53Oh, we're so glad to have her.
15:54She got acclimated here really quick.
15:56Yeah, it's been wonderful.
15:57She made some friends and all the gigs she gets to join Tyler Vaughn
16:01and it's been awesome.
16:02That's right.
16:03Tyler told me the other day that he tried out for America's Got Talent,
16:06The Voice, and American Idol when he was in high school.
16:08Yeah.
16:09That's incredible, Tyler.
16:09You did.
16:10I didn't know that one.
16:10I did.
16:11A long time ago.
16:12You've got all the keys and the musical notes like naturally in
16:15your, I mean that, still.
16:17That's right.
16:17Still to this day, it like blows my mind how he can just remember.
16:22Madison can remember anyone she's ever met and she remembers
16:25her bio.
16:26So it would really come in handy.
16:28We would go to the grocery store and someone would be coming
16:31our way and I couldn't remember their name.
16:33Right.
16:33I'm like, Madison, Madison, who is this coming up?
16:35Right, right.
16:36Who is this coming up and she would give me birthday, you know,
16:38hometown, name, everything.
16:40First name, last name.
16:41Like I remember like random people from high school.
16:44Yeah.
16:45So how is everything good with you guys?
16:47I can't believe it's almost been a year since we started dating.
16:51This will be my first ever anniversary.
16:54I can't even believe it.
16:55I don't even know what we're going to do.
16:56Well, I think you might like what we're going to do.
17:00Yeah, I'm hoping so.
17:02Oh, yeah.
17:09But I, I always just put weird, I don't put anything in after.
17:14Oh, here's the handsome boy.
17:17What's up, you guys?
17:18What's up?
17:19Hi.
17:20Hi.
17:20Hi.
17:21Let's dive in.
17:22How was the date?
17:23It was great.
17:25Okay.
17:25Oh, was it?
17:26Oh, okay.
17:28Wow.
17:29And, and you know what?
17:31I'd like to just keep Haley for as long as I need to.
17:35Oh.
17:36Okay.
17:37Well, would you like to share more details?
17:39Her name's Haley and she's 20 and she's 30.
17:42Okay.
17:44And she works at a cafeteria at school.
17:47Oh, nice.
17:47Okay.
17:47What, what did you talk about?
17:49What is she like?
17:49What did you talk about?
17:50She's not allowed to watch Family Guy.
17:52I'm not allowed to watch Family Guy.
17:55I love that.
17:57Not that you're not allowed, you can, but you know.
17:59That's what makes her a nice person, Mom.
18:01Is it?
18:02Okay.
18:02Oh, okay.
18:03Wow.
18:04Kind of smitten.
18:05Are you getting a little misty there?
18:07I am.
18:08Oh, oh.
18:08He's not getting misty.
18:10He's doing dramatics.
18:11I know.
18:12No, I am getting misty.
18:13Tell us some other things and...
18:15Share the chicken parmesan.
18:16Did you invite yourself upon her chicken parmesan?
18:19Or did she say, would you like some?
18:21I kind of asked if I could have a piece.
18:23Okay, Logan, that's what you do when we go out to eat.
18:26No, no, no, no.
18:26You order your food.
18:27Let me finish.
18:28And then I order mine.
18:29And then before he even digs into his food, he's like,
18:31Oh my gosh.
18:32Can I try that?
18:33And I'm like, what about the food you ordered?
18:35He always dig into mine first.
18:37Okay.
18:37This isn't about you.
18:40Touché.
18:41Touché.
18:41Okay.
18:42I liked being with her.
18:44I want to keep dating her, even if she's a lunch lady mom.
18:49My lunch lady ain't gonna discriminate.
18:52And Neith, she's nice and who behaved just like you.
18:59Well, thank you.
19:00That wasn't a joke, but...
19:02I know, I know.
19:03You're serious.
19:03I'm like...
19:04I know it wasn't a joke.
19:05I'm touched, honestly.
19:08You seem like you killed it.
19:11I did.
19:12Okay.
19:13I'm proud of you.
19:14Thanks, Neith.
19:15She's just a nice person.
19:17And I don't really care if she doesn't have curvy hair.
19:21Her hair is straight and it's better than curvy hair.
19:23Yeah.
19:24Straight-haired girls are okay, in my opinion.
19:26And she's the most straight-haired girl I've ever met.
19:29Okay.
19:29All right.
19:30I don't ever want to stop seeing her.
19:32Nope.
19:33You should've seen me, Mom.
19:34I was great.
19:35And I treated her like she was my friend.
19:39I'm proud of you.
19:40I'm very proud of you.
19:42Mom, I couldn't have done this without you.
19:44Oh, you're so sweet.
19:46Aw.
19:47Mom, she's such a nice girl.
19:48I really hope I can see her.
19:50I hope you do, too, sweetheart.
19:53I hope you do, too.
19:55All right.
19:56Does this change anything with Tifa?
19:59Mom.
20:01I'm not going to mention her anymore.
20:03No more talking about her, okay?
20:05I don't want this to come a big thing.
20:07All right.
20:07Got it.
20:08Who's Tifa?
20:09Yeah, who is she?
20:09I don't remember her.
20:11She's the perfect person for me, Mom.
20:13We have a lot in common.
20:15When's the wedding?
20:15All right.
20:17All right.
20:17Well, let's hold on.
20:19She hasn't said anything yet.
20:31Nice.
20:43Okay, so do you have any hobbies?
20:46Yeah, I do like to draw on occasions.
20:50Oh, nice.
20:50Nice.
20:51I do writing.
20:52Me, too.
20:52Oh, really?
20:54Oh, I love that.
20:55What kind of stories do you write?
20:56Um, like, um, kind of like, do you know fan fiction?
21:00Yeah, I do.
21:01Oh, good.
21:02Good, good, good, good, good.
21:03I'm trying to write a book right now.
21:04Oh, really?
21:05Awesome.
21:06What is it about?
21:07Oh, it's a, it's kind of a supernatural romance story.
21:11Oh, nice.
21:12Cool.
21:13Don't, you don't, you don't often hear those.
21:16Oh, really?
21:17I mean, you know, that I know, but you know.
21:20Yeah.
21:20But that's awesome.
21:27Yeah, this wind seems a tad skosh.
21:32Yeah.
21:32Too much.
21:33Yeah.
21:33You want to walk around?
21:35Yeah, sure.
21:36Yeah, sure.
21:38Are you LDS?
21:40I am.
21:40I grew up LDS.
21:42Oh, nice.
21:42Same here.
21:43Nice.
21:43So I assume all those are tulips.
21:45Yep.
21:49Yeah, look at these flowers.
21:50Oh, yeah.
21:50They're nice.
21:51Yeah, purple.
21:53Yeah, it'd kind of be nice to have like your own stream in your backyard.
21:57Totally.
21:57Yeah, that'd be awesome.
21:59Yeah.
22:00Like...
22:01Yeah, it's okay.
22:01Go ahead.
22:02Oh, sorry.
22:03No, it's okay.
22:03Go ahead.
22:04I have a field in my...
22:07It's just right out of my backyard.
22:08Oh, really?
22:09Nice.
22:10There's sheep.
22:11That's nice.
22:12Mm-hmm.
22:13Yeah, that's nice.
22:38Hey, you're okay?
22:40You're everything?
22:41You mean it?
22:41Honestly?
22:42It's okay?
22:42Yeah.
22:43Good.
22:43Adam, no.
22:44America's oldest operating inn.
22:46James and Shelley have arrived for a dinner date.
22:49I'm trying to make sure I prioritize you and your feelings, because that's what you do
22:53in a relationship.
22:54You put the other person ahead of yourself, so...
22:57Oh, good.
22:57LEDs.
22:58Nice.
22:59Wow, this looks really nice.
23:00It's pretty cool, right?
23:01Yeah.
23:01It dates at least to the time of the American Revolution, possibly earlier than that.
23:06Well, hopefully, they've upgraded the plumbing and electricity to modern conveniences, you
23:10know?
23:11I have to imagine they've done that.
23:12It does look like it has been updated a bit.
23:14Maybe a little bit.
23:15Hard to say, but yeah, not too bad, not too bad.
23:18So...
23:18He always says not too bad, not too bad.
23:20Oops.
23:21Does that bother you?
23:22No.
23:23Okay, good, good.
23:24Anyway, we still have approximately a half hour until our dinner reservation, so...
23:28And over here, they have a chapel or something.
23:31Oh, wow.
23:31Yeah.
23:31Oops, sorry.
23:32Wait, wait, wait, wait.
23:33Are you okay, Shelley?
23:34Yes.
23:34Okay.
23:35So, let's see what this sign says.
23:36Maybe that sign right there can give us some directions.
23:39Not too bad.
23:40Martha Mary Chapel, 1940.
23:44Ooh.
23:44I actually don't know the exact difference between a chapel and a church.
23:47I'll have to look it up at some point.
23:50Is that a nest or something there?
23:52That's a hornet nest.
23:54Oh, there's another hornet's nest right there, too.
23:56Yeah, there's another one.
23:56And there's an...
23:57Yeah.
23:58Oh, there are quite a few hornet's nests up there.
24:01It seems to me that whoever owns this place does not maintain it or that many hornet's
24:04nests have been allowed to be built.
24:07Uh, yeah, we might want to...
24:08I think we should.
24:09I would like to get away from here pretty soon because of all those hornet's nests.
24:13Yeah.
24:14I've been stung by hornets in the past, so...
24:16Really?
24:16Yes.
24:16Have you ever been stung by a hornet?
24:18Not by a horn, right?
24:19Oh, good.
24:19Lucky you.
24:27I always enjoy being in your presence.
24:30Obviously, I enjoy just making eye cut, gazey, and your eyes shut.
24:34I'm sorry.
24:35Good.
24:35See, you're laughing.
24:36You're smiling, Shelley.
24:37Yeah.
24:38Good.
24:40Staying in front of this church made me think, though.
24:43Have you ever noticed how at most weddings, the groom enters first with all his groomsmen,
24:48or ushers, or whatever they're called?
24:49Yeah.
24:49There's not much fanfare.
24:50The grooms enters, but then when the bride enters, there's amazing fanfare, but more
24:55often than not, if you ever notice how the bride's father walks with her to the aisle,
24:58then presents her to the groom.
25:00I don't know.
25:00Doesn't that seem so horribly sexist and misogynistic or patriarchal or any combination thereof?
25:06You know, it's like, symbolically speaking, the bride is being handed from one man to
25:11another.
25:11That's horrible.
25:12I mean, wouldn't it make more sense for the bride and groom to enter together side by side,
25:16showing that they're equals?
25:18I would want to wear a white suit, a white tuxedo, and you don't have any objection to
25:23that, do you?
25:24Does your wedding do what you want to do?
25:26Oh, right.
25:27Well, I'm hoping it'll be our wedding, but we're not there yet.
25:31It's still way too early to be talking about that, right?
25:33Previously, I said that I want to be the center of attention.
25:36I want everyone to focus on me.
25:39I really should not have said that.
25:40That made me look extremely arrogant and self-centered.
25:43Of course, I'd let you be the center of attention, Shelley.
25:46As long as you're okay, I mean, are you the store of Perth?
25:48Do you like being the center of attention, Shelley?
25:52Oh, wait.
25:53I mean, with everyone looking at me, that's going to be overwhelming.
25:57Oh, let us support each other.
25:59We'll give each other strength.
26:00It's like, let me think of a good analogy.
26:03Like in the second Indiana Jones, the Temple of Doom, when the Shankara stones were brought
26:09together, they glowed.
26:10They were synergistic.
26:11Our relationship is symbiotic.
26:12One of us is the tree.
26:13The other is the sun.
26:14Each of us feeds off the...
26:16Oh, wait.
26:16No, no.
26:16That sounds a bit creepy.
26:18Oh, it's almost time.
26:20Our dinner reservation is coming up, Shelley.
26:21We better be getting to our dinner reservation.
26:24Yes, yes.
26:26The gleaming rays of the sun remind me of your hair, and the clear blue sky reminds
26:30me of your eyes.
26:31Thank you very much.
26:32You don't mind me bringing up, you don't mind me saying that, do you?
26:33Good.
26:34Yeah, thank you very much, James.
26:36Good, good.
26:36Yes, yes.
26:38Nice, nice.
26:38Oh, are you okay?
26:39You didn't stumble just then, did you?
26:41No, you stumbled.
26:42Oh, I did?
26:42Did you not?
26:43I didn't stumble.
26:44Oh, okay.
26:45Good, good.
26:53Good morning.
26:55Good morning.
26:56Cheers, Dylan.
26:57Today is the day.
26:59Cheers.
27:00In Los Angeles, Dylan is about to step out on the first date of his life.
27:05Excited?
27:06Yes.
27:07Me too.
27:08I can't imagine my baby's gonna do this.
27:10Yes.
27:12Dear God.
27:13Amazing.
27:13Yes, I know it's amazing.
27:17I can tell you're very nervous.
27:19Yes, mutter.
27:20But don't worry, I can handle this.
27:22I've been watching a Love Island pretending.
27:26Love Island is this show on Peacock I hear about a lot.
27:31Kian, any tips from Love Island?
27:33Yes, Kian.
27:34You learn some stuff from them?
27:37Yes, something about treating a girl nicely.
27:40Think they treat each other nicely unless you learn?
27:42Well, you know, per se, yes.
27:44But every other way, no.
27:48Should we get ready, Mom?
27:50Sure.
27:51If you're ready.
27:51Yeah, sure, let's get ready.
27:52You should get your boots, your hat.
27:55Okay.
27:57Ready.
27:59Whoa, this is it.
28:01Yeah, this is it.
28:02Here.
28:02Let me get my boots ready.

29:00Love you.
29:02Have fun.
29:05I feel sad.
29:08I didn't expect that so soon, but I'm happy for him.
29:28Pasa.
29:29Las experiencias que uno tiene cuando joven.
29:33De enamorarse.

33:42no no no we didn't either no yeah one of our biggest fears was uh him being lonely
33:50yeah well we feel the same way from the very beginning like we didn't even know if madison
33:55was going to talk and then we just worried if she was going to be able to make friends
33:59and never in a million years did we think that she would be dating someone and being in love with
34:04someone in like over the course of one year i mean it was just seemed like it was so far
34:09away
34:09and almost unattainable at times and it's like a just a gift so we're just so grateful we just
34:15adore you tyler you're an easy guy to adore come on and i'm glad i found her too madison remember
34:23when we were having our anniversary when you were growing up what did we always make us do dance
34:27we had an anniversary dance yeah tyler and i are gonna have to start doing that every year
34:32oh yeah we're gonna have an anniversary dance right do you have a song i'm thinking about like
34:38tim mcgraw george straight yeah they have epic love songs they do for sure oh yeah i want a song
34:45called oh yeah that's what i want to have like a little riff oh yeah that's right yeah and that's
34:52why madison likes him so much she's used to mom and dad saying no all the time so
34:56are you spoiled madison oh yes
35:03tell her every once in a while you're gonna have to say no
35:05okay it's okay sorry madison i have a hard time with the word no
35:12that's why i think y'all get along so well
35:16madison's also learning about financial management you know that's been a challenge for us because
35:21i would put money in her account and then it would just disappear like that and i'd be like madison
35:26what are you spending all this money on crickets okay right and she's supposed to be in college
35:31going to class so what are you shopping for we went to visit her and uh i walked into her
35:36dorm room
35:38and it looked like chuck e cheese had exploded in there like the like the like the prize table had
35:44exploded he's not exaggerating you know the stuff you win like erasers and little fidgets and plastic
35:51spider rings and stuff like that and coloring books and now we were like where did you get this stuff
35:56madison was going across in between class she would go across the street to one of the dollar stores
36:00and just go in there and buy something and i couldn't get her to stop doing it so i told
36:05madison i said i'm going to take a picture of you over to the dollar store and i'm going to
36:10say do not
36:10sell this person anything right yeah do not you see her coming and so i think we're doing a better
36:17job of that these days aren't we madison yes we are that's another area of madison's experiencing
36:21growth lots of growth yes
36:22growth yes absolutely yes
36:23absolutely yes
36:24yes
36:25What the hell is that?
36:47Wow, interesting set.
36:50Interesting set.
36:51It's a little nerve-wracking, but I can handle it.
36:54This is the place of the movie ranch.
36:58It's just like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,
37:01except that the set is nice and hot and beautiful.
37:05How are you feeling, Dylan?
37:06Good, I'm a little nervous.
37:09I'm just so happy to see her.
37:20Dylan is meeting Caroline.
37:22She likes playing the glockenspiel and puppets.
37:27She doesn't like bathroom sensors that don't work.
37:31Or close talkers.
37:35Hello.
37:36Hi.
37:37Hi.
37:38What's your name?
37:39Dylan.

38:15So.
38:16So.
38:17I like it.
38:18You and I both have hats now.
38:22Um, do you like listening to music?
38:25Oh, yes.
38:26I do.
38:27Taylor Swift sometimes.
38:28Technically.
38:29Oh, yeah.
38:29She's awesome.
38:30Oh, yeah.
38:31I got some badges for you.
38:33Which one is it for you?
38:34It's his deputy and his sheriff.
38:37Oh, that's cool.
38:39The deputy.
38:40You're good.
38:42Yeah.
38:43Good.
38:44You're supposed to do this.
38:46Good.
38:47Should we go to the worldly thing, Caroline?
38:50Sure.
38:56So.
38:57Um.
38:58So.

39:08What kind of, um.
39:10What kind of animals do you like?
39:12I like otters.
39:13Oh, that's so cool.
39:15Otters are really cute.
39:17Uh huh.
39:18Yeah.
39:18I like that.
39:20What.
39:20They can be playful in the water.
39:22It's.
39:23It's really.
39:24Very cool.
39:25Neat to watch that.
39:26Very cool.
39:27Cool.
39:27What's yours?
39:29Um.
39:29I like, um.
39:30Dogs and.
39:32Wow.
39:32Dolphins.
39:33Dogs.
39:34Interesting.
39:35Yeah.
39:35Dogs are breeding good.
39:37And they can very run and chew.
39:40Very goodly.
39:41Mm hmm.
39:42Yeah.
39:42And Caroline's the funniest thing ever.
39:44That sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond.
39:46Is that the one?
39:47Oh yeah.
39:48That's a great song.
39:49They named after you.
39:51Yeah.
39:51They did.
39:52Yeah.
39:52It's a good thing.
39:53Mm hmm.
39:58Um.
40:01Oh shoot.
40:02It's moving.
40:03What am I supposed to do?
40:04It's moving.
40:07It's moving.
40:08It's moving.
40:10Sorry about that.
40:11It's moving sometimes.
40:13It's.
40:13It's all good.
40:15Um.
40:17Uh.
40:18Do you like.
40:19Uh.
40:20What do you like to do during the summer?
40:23The summer I like to go to the beach.
40:24Yeah.
40:25I.
40:26It's good.
40:26Yeah.
40:26The beach is a cool place.
40:28Oh, interesting.
40:28Caroline.
40:30I.
40:31Uh.
40:31I.
40:32Kind of.
40:34Like you.
40:38Oh.
40:44This is definitely a short place to take a romantic dinner date, you know.
40:48It does look almost like we stepped backward in time 300 years, doesn't it?
40:51Yes, it's very nice.
40:53I'm very glad they have LEDs too.
40:55And they're not using incandescent, so.
40:57Yes, that's good.
41:01Mm.
41:03This is the oldest continually functioning inn in the country, so.
41:06I think that's pretty nice.
41:08It's an inn upstairs, eh?
41:09Yeah.
41:09Upstairs is where they have the rooms, you know, for the guests or whatever.
41:14So.
41:14Not too bad.
41:15Not too bad.
41:17Oof.
41:19Mm.
41:20Excuse me.
41:21Yes, of course.
41:21No problem.
41:22Thank you kindly.
41:23Of course.
41:23Thank you very much.
41:24Are you ready to place your order?
41:25Yes, I have an answer.
41:27Okay.
41:27May we please have the 16 ounce cut of prime rib?
41:32Okay.
41:32What are Delmonico potatoes?
41:34It's a scalloped potato in a cheese sauce.
41:36Ooh.
41:37Let's try the Delmonico.
41:39Delmonico.
41:40Very good.
41:40May we please have the Delmonico potatoes?
41:42Absolutely.
41:43Thank you very much.
41:44Yes.
41:45Mm.
41:46I wish I could crush that fly, but it's driving me crazy, that fly, but, um, you know.
41:53It's pretty impressive, their maneuverability, like, the way their wings work, you know?
41:58Yeah.
41:58Yeah.
41:58It's like, I think, like, insect wings help inspire the design of helicopters.
42:02It's just what I've heard.
42:03Yeah, I've heard about that, too.
42:04The word helicopter is Greek.
42:06Like, the first part, the helio part, means, refers to the sun, and the pter refers to the
42:11wings, like pteranodon, the pterosaur, the ancient reptile.
42:15Not all ancient, prehistoric, terrestrial reptiles were dinosaurs.
42:21That kind of looks like a haunted mirror film.
42:25Almost all reptiles today have their legs go out to the sides, but we all know that birds
42:31are descended from dinosaurs, because their legs are straight down, not off to the side.
42:36That's very interesting.
42:37Yes, thank you.
42:38I'm coming with lots of goodies.
42:40Thank you so much.
42:40My pleasure.
42:41Is this parsley, I presume?
42:43Yes.
42:43Great, thank you so much.
42:44Well, thank you very much.
42:45Very good.
42:46Okay.
42:47Now, enjoy.
42:49Enjoy.
42:52Almost had it.
42:54Anyway, so, I think I'm just going to eat the parsley as it is.
42:58Mmm.
42:59You don't think that's weird, Shelley, do you?
43:00No.
43:01Good, good.
43:02Okay.
43:02Mmm.
43:03Not bad.
43:05Mmm.
43:08Mmm.
43:08Mmm.
43:09How are the Delmonico potatoes?
43:14Mmm-mmm.
43:15Mmm.
43:16That's fine.
43:17No big deal.
43:21So, yes, thank you very much for joining, for accompanying me here.
43:26I really thought you would enjoy it.
43:27You would appreciate.
43:29Yeah, thank you very much.
43:31Of course you're welcome.
43:32Absolutely.
43:33It's been wonderful.
43:34And that steak was delicious.
43:35Yes, yes, definitely.
43:38Hopefully we can have such wonderful dinners like this more frequently, you know, for the
43:43rest of our lives, of course.
43:45I hope so.
43:46Yes, I don't see why not.
43:48Yes.
43:49Definitely.
43:55Did you get it?
43:56Ah, yes, I did.
43:57Third time's the charm.
43:58Finally got that whole thing.
44:00Yes, because, you know, see, flies spread filth and pestilence.
44:03They carry deadly diseases and plagues, and obviously, I presume you know the story of how
44:08the bubonic plague devastated Europe in the 1300s.
44:11So, this bubonic plague was spread by fleas, actually.
44:14A lot of people thought it was spread by rats.
44:16So, it was spread by fleas on the rats.
44:19But, so...
44:19And did you enjoy your dinner?
44:21Oh, my God, it was delicious.
44:23Thank you so much.
44:28Oh, I didn't know that the potato was $17.
44:33I thought the potatoes were incredible.
44:34Yeah, I thought it was incredible.
44:36I would've just skipped the potatoes if I'd known.
44:39We didn't even eat them.
44:42All right, so, this has been a wonderful evening, Shelley.
44:45I had such a great time tonight.
44:47But, of course, I always have a wonderful time when we're together.
44:50Thank you very much.
44:50Yes, thank you so much.
44:51Yes, this has been the most wonderful evening.
44:54Oh, it definitely has been.
44:55Of course, good.
44:56So, you did definitely have a good time, right?
44:58Yes.
44:58Good, good, good.
44:59Yep, I can tell.
45:00I can tell you're having a good time.
45:19You ever, uh, done online dating?
45:23Uh, no.
45:24Have you?
45:25I tried to go on the mutual.
45:27Uh-huh.
45:28The Mormon Tinder.
45:29Yeah, I didn't really find anyone.
45:31Well, yeah, yeah.
45:32Because, like, because, like, with people like us, it's very different, you know?
45:37I know there's, like, a lot of people that, like, get married right out of high school.
45:40Oh, yeah, yeah.
45:42I mean, you know, it's fine if they do it.
45:44It's just that it's not for me.
45:46Right.
45:46Like, yeah, I would like to get married one day.
45:48Yeah, me too.
45:49Have a couple of kids.
45:51Yeah, me too.
45:52I feel like my number of kids would be three.
45:55That seems the perfect amount.
45:57Yeah.
45:58I was in a family of three, so kind of fits.
46:02Yeah.
46:02Ah!
46:04Shit!
46:07So, uh, do you want to, like, go keep looking at me?
46:10Yeah.
46:11Mm-hmm.
46:12Cool.
46:13That's nice.
46:15Yeah, nice.
46:16Oh, the ducks.
46:17Yeah, that's nice.
46:19Yeah, that's nice.
46:26Bombs away.
46:27Bombs away.
46:29Wow, there is so many.
46:32I can definitely hear them sucking.
46:34Yeah, like, they're definitely sucking.
46:36Mine.
46:36Mm-hmm.
46:39Hey, press it, press it, press it, press it.
46:42It's dinner time.
46:44Look at them swerve like that.
46:46It's kind of funny.
46:47Yeah.
46:48Like, give me food.
46:50Mine.
46:51Mine.
46:54Mine, mine, mine.
46:55Mine, mine, mine.
46:57They're, like, on top of each other.
46:59That's kind of funny.
47:00Ah!
47:02Nice.
47:05I think those guys were having a wedding.
47:07Oh, yeah, that's nice.
47:09Mm-hmm.
47:11Yeah, it's pretty nice.
47:16It's just, uh...
47:20Yeah.
47:21I really did...
47:24I really did have...
47:27I had...
47:28I really had fun today.
47:30Yeah, me too.
47:31Yeah.
47:32Mm-hmm.
47:34So...
47:34Yeah.
47:36We got a laugh.
47:37Yeah.
47:37Mm-hmm.
47:38Yeah, it was fun.
47:39Really liked it that we had a lot of common interests.
47:43Yeah.
47:43Yeah, that was awesome.
47:45Yeah, just able to talk with some of the stuff that others might not get.
47:50Yeah.
47:50Yeah, it's always nice to know what someone knows what you're talking about.
47:54Yeah.
47:54Yeah.
47:55I like that we, like, both put a little humor in feeding the fish.
47:59Yeah.
48:00I liked how you were imitating, like, the seagulls from Finding Nemo.
48:04Yeah.
48:05We were like, Mare, Mare, Mare, Mare.
48:06Yeah.
48:08But it was fairly accurate.
48:11Oh, thanks.
48:12Yeah.
48:12I liked your energy.
48:14Oh, thanks.
48:16I really did enjoy our time together.
48:18Yeah, me too.
48:21I was just, uh, wondering if...
48:27Yeah.
48:29Yeah.
48:31Yeah.
48:32Would you, uh, like to go out again?
48:41Mm.
48:45Mm.
48:48Mm.
48:50Mm.
