00:53:16Or do I say, you know what, let me guarantee myself the next day?
00:53:19But the reality is you have to take that leap of faith and trust somebody.
00:53:23Look around you, build those bonds.
00:53:25And when you go to tribal, that's when that leap of faith is tested.
00:53:29Ozzy, what's your take on that?
00:53:30Because what Rizzo brought up is something that hadn't occurred to me.
00:53:33It is two, essentially, final five votes in a sense.
00:53:36Yeah, I mean, you're falling back on your instincts.
00:53:39You know, I gotta be honest, like, a couple of tribals ago,
00:53:42I was ready to play an idol, for sure.
00:53:44And something caught me and I didn't take the leap.
00:53:47And thank God I didn't because that would have burned the idol
00:53:49and I wouldn't have it for later in the game.
00:53:52But at this point, you hope that the instincts that have gotten you this far in the game
00:53:57are gonna shoot you straight once again.
00:54:00And Ozzy, does that trust or that leap of faith get better the more you play Survivor?
00:54:05Or is it always going to be the same question, even if you're newer to Survivor?
00:54:10The times in the past that I've played Survivor, I was not really good at it.
00:54:15Not as trusting as I should have been, too trusting when I shouldn't have been.
00:54:19And I played a much more solo game.
00:54:21You know, I was more interested in trying to win challenges.
00:54:24And I knew this time around that I just couldn't do that.
00:54:27And it's amazing to actually be with people and see them win immunities, you know,
00:54:32like watching Jonathan today just by a hair winning.
00:54:36That's almost worth more to me than the solo, kind of selfish feeling of, like, beating Boston Rob's record.
00:54:45And so I just hope that I'm here one more day to share more of the joy,
00:54:50more of the love that I have for this game.

00:54:54The fact that he's sitting there saying that means a whole lot to me.
00:54:58Ozzy was one of the reasons that I came out to play Survivor.
00:55:01When I did my first video, I talked about wanting to be like him.

00:55:21What was your take coming in in terms of how you played in the past versus what you want to

00:55:27I think in the past, I've been a very anxious player.
00:55:30Ozzy and I, we've both done a lot of work on ourselves.
00:55:34I can say that I truly have shed the anxiety that would just ripple off of me.
00:55:40And I know everybody's seen it, and I know it's still there.
00:55:43But I have embraced it as my friend.
00:55:46And it's been a big evolution for me.
00:55:48And I'm just so honored to be on Survivor 50.
00:55:51Like, the game has evolved.
00:55:52I have too.
00:55:53And it's exceptionally cool to be here with other people who value that.
00:55:58It's the essence of Survivor.
