New pyroclastic density current tumbles from Mayon's slopes

A pyroclastic density current tumbles anew toward the foot of the restive Mayon Volcano on May 8, 2026. The volcano has been restive for five months, forcing thousands of Albayanos into temporary shelters. At least three cities and five towns are now under a state of calamity.
