00:00Praise the Lord.
00:01Greetings to you all in the massless name of the Lord and our Saviour Jesus Christ.
00:06I hope that you are all doing well and been blessed by this morning meditations
00:10which the Lord has been teaching us and strengthening us by His divine word.
00:17Let's all bow down our heads and look to the Lord in prayer.
00:21Almighty God and merciful Heavenly Father,
00:24we thank and we praise you for this precious morning
00:27and the beautiful day that you have blessed us with.
00:32Father, you have protected us and allowed us to study your word this morning, God,
00:38as we prepare our hearts for your divine word.
00:41We ask and we pray that you will speak with us
00:43and teach us your word and your will, your purpose for our life
00:48and prepare us for your coming.
00:50In Jesus' holy name we pray. Amen.
00:54If you have your Bible this morning with me,
00:57turn with me to the Gospel of John chapter 20
01:01and verse 25
01:04Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails
01:08and put my finger into the print of the nails
01:11and thrust my hand into his side,
01:15I will not believe.
01:18Brothers and sisters,
01:21Man has been ruled by two things right nowadays.
01:26One is fear.
01:29His fear was what's going to happen tomorrow to me.
01:35His fear was how I'm going to end up my life on this earth.
01:46Man was living on this earth by fear.
01:50The second thing, man was living on this earth by doubt.
01:56Man is thinking,
01:58Do I get healed by the sickness which I've been suffering from long time ago?
02:07Do I go to hell or heaven?
02:12Or he's doubting about the second coming of Lord Jesus Christ?
02:17He's also doubting,
02:18Can anyone save me?
02:20Or can I be redeemed or be delivered
02:23or be set free from the problems which I have been suffering today?
02:28Man is living with fear
02:29and man is living with doubt.
02:34The passage that which we have read
02:36speaks about the disciple of Lord Jesus Christ.
02:41Jesus had 12 disciples.
02:44But before the death and the burial
02:46and the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
02:48Judas Iscariot hanged himself and died.
02:53So 11 disciples were remained.
02:57In all these 11 disciples,
02:59after the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
03:01Jesus appeared to the 10 disciples.
03:03Why not 11?
03:04Because Thomas was not with them.
03:08In the evening,
03:10Jews were shut doors
03:13because of the fear of the Jews.
03:18And Jesus came in.
03:20They had interaction with him.
03:21They had fellowship with him.
03:23The 10 disciples.
03:26But one disciple,
03:28that is Thomas,
03:28was not with them.
03:30After Thomas has come into the midst,
03:33they said,
03:34We have seen Jesus.
03:35Jesus spoke with us.
03:36We saw him by our eyes.
03:39We touched him.
03:41We had interaction with him.
03:43We had fellowship with him.
03:45But Thomas said,
03:46I don't believe.
03:47I don't believe it.
03:49Unless I place my finger
03:51in his nail,
03:54in his palms,
03:56and I place my finger
03:59at his side.
04:01Then I believe him
04:03that he is resurrected
04:05Lord Jesus Christ.
04:09At this point,
04:10Thomas became
04:12and called
04:13as a doubted man.
04:17When you read
04:18the Gospel of John
04:18chapter 11,
04:19verse 16,
04:20in this passage,
04:22that Jesus heard
04:23that Lazarus,
04:25the brother of Martha and Mary,
04:27was died,
04:28was passed away.
04:29And Jesus rose up
04:31and he was moving
04:32to Bethany
04:33where Lazarus was died.
04:36And Thomas,
04:37at that point,
04:38he said to his
04:40other friends,
04:42the disciples of Jesus Christ
04:43and said to them,
04:45Let us also go
04:46and die
04:47even with him.
04:49Thomas was a man
04:51who was committed,
04:52who was surrendered,
04:53who was dedicated
04:53for God
04:55and for his mission,
04:57for his commandments.
04:59But in John chapter 20,
05:01Thomas became
05:02as a doubted man.
05:04He didn't believe
05:05that Jesus Christ
05:06is risen.
05:08He didn't believe it.
05:09He didn't believe it.
05:11In Hebrews chapter 11,
05:13the Bible says this way,
05:14But he that cometh
05:14to God must believe
05:15that he is
05:17and he is the one
05:18who is able
05:18to do everything.
05:21You must need
05:22to have faith
05:22when you are coming
05:23to God.
05:24Without faith,
05:25you cannot please God.
05:26Without faith,
05:27that you cannot
05:27come near to God.
05:28You need to have faith
05:30on God.
05:32Thomas had faith
05:33in his life
05:34when he believed God
05:35when Jesus
05:36was with him.
05:37But Thomas
05:38had little faith.
05:41Thomas had lost
05:42his faith.
05:43He became
05:43a doubted man
05:46when they said
05:47that Jesus Christ
05:48has resurrected
05:49and we have
05:50sawn him.
05:54He replies to them,
05:56Unless I place
05:57my finger
06:00in his palms
06:01and I place
06:03my hand
06:03and my finger
06:04at his side,
06:05I don't believe
06:06him
06:07that he has
06:08resurrected.
06:09There are often times
06:10even
06:10brothers and sisters
06:12we speak
06:13this word.
06:14Unless God
06:14do a miracle
06:15in my life,
06:16I don't believe him.
06:17Unless God
06:18comes to me
06:19and speaks
06:20to me
06:20by face to face,
06:21I don't believe him.
06:24But when God
06:25spoke with Abraham
06:25and called him,
06:26Abraham,
06:27leave out
06:28everything
06:28what you belong
06:29or what belongs
06:30to you.
06:32Abraham left
06:33everything
06:34and followed God.
06:35He didn't say,
06:35God,
06:36where are you
06:36going to lead me?
06:38What things
06:39that you have
06:39prepared for me
06:40in my life?
06:41But he left
06:42by faith
06:43following that
06:44God has prepared
06:45everything for him
06:46in his life.
06:48That's faith
06:49we need to have,
06:50not a faith
06:51that Thomas
06:52had in his life.
06:55There are
06:55sometimes we even
06:56have this
06:57kind of doubt
06:58and the tendency
06:59like Thomas.
07:01How we can
07:02overcome it
07:03in all our life.
07:04Turn with me
07:04to the epistle
07:07to the book
07:08of Romans
07:09chapter 10
07:10and verse 17
07:12the Bible
07:13says this way.
07:15Faith cometh
07:16by hearing
07:17and hearing
07:17by the word
07:18of God.
07:19Number one,
07:21you can
07:22overcome
07:22doubt
07:23in your life
07:24by reading
07:26or by taking
07:27heed
07:27to the word
07:28of God.
07:28when you
07:29read the
07:29word of
07:30God
07:31and the
07:31word of
07:32God
07:32will give
07:32you
07:32faith
07:33on God.
07:35There are
07:36many of the
07:36times that
07:36we spend
07:37a lot of
07:37time
07:38in speaking,
07:39in gasping,
07:40in thinking
07:40about other
07:41people,
07:41in making
07:42conversations
07:42with other
07:43people.
07:44But today,
07:45remember
07:45brothers and
07:46sisters,
07:48but when we
07:48have faith
07:49on God,
07:51when we
07:52hear the
07:52word of
07:53God,
07:53when we
07:53read the
07:54word of
07:54God,
07:55when we
07:55read his
07:56Bible every
07:57day and
07:57keep his
07:57words in
07:58the tablet
07:58of our
07:59hearts,
08:00that gives
08:00us faith.
08:01It gives
08:02us faith
08:03in all
08:04our life.
08:06So the
08:07very first
08:07point,
08:08you can
08:09overcome
08:09doubt in
08:10your life
08:10by
08:12studying
08:13his
08:14word.
08:16Number two,
08:17that you can
08:18overcome
08:18your doubt
08:20in your
08:20life
08:22by
08:22prayer.
08:25Turn to
08:25the
08:26gospel of
08:26Mark
08:27chapter
08:279
08:27and
08:29verse
08:2924.
08:30And
08:31straightway
08:31the father
08:32of the
08:32child cried
08:33out and
08:33said with
08:34tears,
08:34Lord,
08:34I believe,

08:37unbelief.
08:39A
08:40father has
08:40brought his
08:41child to
08:42Jesus Christ

09:02prayer.
09:04Faith
09:05is very

09:08same way

09:12can overcome
09:13doubt in

09:14by
09:15prayer,
09:16asking
09:16God and
09:17saying to

09:18Lord,

09:28unbelief

09:29faith
