00:28Shall we all bow down our heads and look to the Lord in prayer?
00:32Our loving Heavenly Father, we thank and we praise you
00:36for this wonderful morning that you blessed us with.
00:40We come before the throne of your grace
00:44thanking you for all your blessings and for this wonderful day.
00:49As we prepare our hearts for your word,
00:52we pray and we ask you that you will speak to us and strengthen us.
00:57Teach us your will and your purpose for us
01:00that we might come closer to you
01:03and write your word from the tablets of our hearts.

01:16we'd like to ask you to turn with me
01:18to the book of Ruth chapter 1 and verse 16.
01:25This morning we're going to talk about
01:28the commitments of Ruth in her life.
01:33Commitment and decision making is very important in every Christian life.
01:39A decision, a commitment can change up your life.
01:44If our decision is perfect
01:47and that decision leads us our life into a right path.
01:53And the Bible says
01:55that Eve saw the fruit
01:58that which God told them not to eat
02:02and
02:03immediately when they forsook the commandment of God
02:09disobedience to God's command
02:11had led them to fall into sin
02:14to be cast away from the Garden of Eden
02:18to lose and break the relationship
02:21that they had with God every day.
02:24They were decided themselves
02:26to eat the fruit of the tree.
02:29Even in our life,
02:30if your decision is right,
02:34your lifestyle
02:36and
02:36the goal of your life,
02:38the destiny of your life
02:39will be on a right path.
02:42If your decisions are not good
02:44in your life,
02:45your life is going to be
02:47on a worse condition.
02:50There was many spiritual decisions
02:52that in the Bible we find.
02:54Psalm chapter 23 and verse 6,
02:57David decided
02:58to be in the presence of the Lord
03:01forever and ever.
03:04Philippians chapter 1 and verse 29,
03:07Paul's decision was to be taken away
03:10and to be wanted to be with Christ.
03:13And Luke chapter 19,
03:16Zacchaeus made a decision in his life
03:19that he wanted to see who is Jesus.
03:23Every single decision
03:24what you make in your life
03:25can turn up,
03:27can change up
03:29your destiny
03:30and your goal,
03:31your lifestyle
03:32in your life.
03:34So this morning,
03:35we are going to learn
03:36what are the Ruth commitments
03:38that she had made committed
03:40in her life.
03:42Turn with me to the book of Ruth,
03:44chapter 1.
03:45And we are going to read
03:47a verse 16.
03:50And Ruth said,
03:52Entreat me not to leave me,
03:54or return from following after thee.
03:58For whither thou goest,
04:00I will go.
04:02Number one,
04:03Ruth committed
04:05to a new land.
04:07What is the commitment
04:09that Ruth
04:10had made
04:11in her life?
04:13She committed
04:14herself
04:15to a new land.
04:18What is a new land?
04:20When Ruth spoke this word
04:22to Navami,
04:23they were in a land
04:25called
04:25Moab.
04:27Moab is a land
04:28for
04:29idolatry.
04:31and Moab
04:32is a land
04:33of sin.
04:35And now,
04:37Ruth speaking up
04:38to Navami,
04:40Navami,
04:41remember,
04:41I don't want to be
04:43like Orpah
04:44who gave a kiss
04:45to you
04:45and moved away.
04:48But I wanted
04:49to come with you
04:50and I wanted
04:51to be with you
04:52wherever
04:53that you go
04:54in the land

06:43away,
06:44she had no
06:45guidance in her
06:45life.
06:47And Navami
06:48said,
06:48Ruth,
06:49remember,
06:50as Orpah
06:51has kissed
06:52me,
06:52you also

06:53and go.
06:55But Ruth
06:56said to Navami,

06:59guidance,

07:08great lesson

07:21self-confidence,

09:47Christian life.
09:49Ruth's saying,

09:51live in the
09:52land of
09:52Moab,
09:53I was an

09:56but today,
09:58I want
09:59to worship

10:02living God.
10:03That's

10:04commitment
10:04in her
10:05life.
