If you want to know why Tennessee just gutted Black representation in Memphis, look at Pulaski in 1865. ๐Ÿ›๏ธโš ๏ธ

The state that birthed the KKK and pioneered Jim Crow just legalized a map that splits Memphis into three to dilute the Black vote. This isn't a glitch; itโ€™s the Volunteer Stateโ€™s 160-year-old strategy to derail equality.

Don't let them call it "progress."

It's a power grab. ๐Ÿ—ณ๏ธโœŠ๐Ÿพ

00:00History isn't just behind us, it's the blueprint. In 1865, a law office in Pulaski, Tennessee became
00:07the birthplace of the KKK. It wasn't just a quote-unquote social club, it was a paramilitary
00:13force built to dismantle black political power at the root. But the violence was only half the play.
00:19Tennessee pioneered the legal side too, passing the first separate but equal laws in 1881.
00:25They built the architecture of Jim Crow using poll taxes and legal hurdles to ensure that while the
00:30law said you could vote, the state made sure that you couldn't. Fast forward to May 7, 2026. The
00:36hoods are gone, but the maps are the new weapon. The state just finalized a redistricting plan that
00:41cracks Memphis, splitting the city's majority black influence into three rural districts. It's a
00:47surgical strike to dilute the black vote in Shelby County. From Pulaski in 1865 to the state capital
00:52in 2026, the strategy remains disenfranchisement by design. Tennessee continues to lead the nation
00:59in derailing racial equality. We can't fight the map if we don't know the history. Check the links
01:04in my description to see the data on Pulaski, Jim Crow, and the Memphis redistricting, and make sure
01:10that you stay loud. Tennessee is following a 160-year blueprint from the birth of the KKK in Pulaski
01:17to the 2026 redistricting in Memphis. The goal has not changed. This is about silencing and
01:24disenfranchising the black vote. And if you wondered what you would do during the civil rights era,
01:29it's whatever you're doing right now. Again, stay loud and don't let them get away with it.
