00:21under what he described as a historic trade deal, agreed in Turnberry, Scotland, which he called the largest trade deal

00:28Trump said EU had promised to uphold its side of the agreement by reducing tariffs to zero.
00:34He added that he had given the EU until the United States' 250th anniversary to meet these commitments,
00:41warning that failure to do so would result in tariffs being raised immediately to much higher levels.
00:47Trump on Friday had threatened to increase tariffs on EU cars and trucks to 25% this week from 15

00:55because the EU was not complying with the terms of a deal struck in Scotland last July.
