Three women were arrested at Australian airports as they arrived from Syria. Two were charged with crimes against humanity and slavery offences while the other was charged for allegedly being a member of a terrorist organisation.

00:00Tonight, the Victorian Joint Counter-Terrorism Team have arrested two women at Melbourne International Airport.
00:07It is expected a 53-year-old woman will be charged tonight or tomorrow with the following four Commonwealth offences.
00:17Crimes against humanity, enslavement.
00:20Crimes against humanity, possess a slave.
00:24Crimes against humanity, use a slave.
00:28Crimes against humanity, engage in slave trading.
00:33These offences each carry a maximum penalty of 25 years' imprisonment.
00:39A 31-year-old woman will also expect to be charged tonight or tomorrow with the following two Commonwealth offences.
00:48Crimes against humanity, enslavement.
00:51Crimes against humanity, use a slave.
00:54Crimes against humanity, use a slave.
00:55Crimes against humanity, use a separate civil law personnel.

01:31Both offences carry a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment.
01:37The woman will appear before a New South Wales court once she is charged.
