00:00It's election day here in Abergavenny and voters have been making their way through the doors of polling stations like
00:06the one behind me since 7 o'clock this morning.
00:09The polls are open until 10 o'clock tonight and campaigning is still allowed on election day itself.
00:14That means banners supporting political parties in houses near polling stations are perfectly fine.
00:19However, there is no campaigning allowed inside the polling stations themselves and journalists aren't allowed to analyse any of the
00:26election pledges until after the polls have closed tonight.
00:30Verification of the ballot will take place tonight. However, there won't be any counting in Wales until tomorrow morning.
00:36It's only after the results are in tomorrow from all the constituencies that we will know who's been sent back
00:41to the Senate.
00:42So, Wales, that means it is truly down to you to decide the direction this country takes over the next
00:48five years.
