01:06So it sounds like he's planning to go in
01:09and take that Nobel Peace Prize by force.
01:13President Trump was set to take a photo with U.S. attorneys
01:16today at the White House.
01:17But, as usual, Giuliani misunderstood.

04:21over the deadly ice shooting in Minneapolis
04:23and the Trump administration's attempts to lie about it.

04:31Let's not forget, everybody, Trump lied from the jump
04:34about the scope and focus of his mass deportation program
04:37during the 2024 campaign.
04:39We got to get the criminals out first.
04:41We're going to get the criminals,
04:43the murderers, the drug dealers.
04:44We have to get all of these criminals,
04:46these murderers and drug dealers and everything.
04:49We're getting them out.
04:49We are going to start with violent criminals,
04:51and we're going to start then with criminals.
04:53Yes, we're going to start with violent criminals,
04:55then regular criminals, then small-time criminals,
04:57then, of course, fashion criminals.
04:59And yet, you just know Trump's going to give Kid Rock a pardon.
05:04Since when is it legal to turn the American flag into a onesie?
05:08If you could tell Betsy Ross that Kid Rock
05:10was using her design to catch farts,
05:12she'd probably say,
05:13But he's no kid.
05:15He does look like a rock, though.
05:18Also, what does bow with the bow mean?
05:21The point is, Trump said he would crack down
05:22on violent criminals, drug dealers and gang members
05:24unless you beat up a police officer on January 6th,
05:27or your gang is a right-wing militia that stormed the Capitol,
05:30or you're a financial criminal who swindled Americans
05:33out of millions, or you're a Honduran drug kingpin
05:35who, quote, flooded America with cocaine,
05:38took a $1 million bribe from El Chapo,
05:40and bragged that he would stuff the drugs
05:42up the gringos' noses.
05:44That's real.
05:45That's a real guy that Donald Trump really pardoned.
05:47Even Scarface was like,
05:49That guy should be in jail, man.
05:56That is one little friend.
05:58And I will not be saying hello to.
06:07And that is exactly as far as I'm willing to go
06:09with my Scarface impression.
06:13If you win the presidency by claiming
06:15you're going to deport drug dealers,
06:17and then you pardon a notorious drug dealer,
06:19you better have a damn good explanation.
06:21So let's listen to the president and hear him out.
06:24You pardoned former Honduran President
06:26Juan Orlando Hernandez,
06:27and let him out of prison,
06:28even though he was convicted
06:29in a massive international drug trafficking scheme.
06:32How is that zero tolerance on drug trafficking?
06:35Well, I don't know him,
06:36and I know very little about him,
06:38other than people said it was like
06:41a Obama-Biden-type setup where he was set up.
06:44He was the president of the country.
06:46The country deals in drugs like probably
06:48you could say that about every country.
06:50I'm sorry, probably you could say that about every country.
06:54No president vacillates more between parent
06:56and teenager than Donald Trump.
06:58Like, one minute, he's all,
06:59we have to stop the scourge of drugs
07:00from coming into the country.
07:02And the next, he's like,
07:03everyone's doing it, Mom!
07:06Also, is that explanation supposed to make us feel better,
07:10saying you don't know the guy you pardoned?
07:13Were your MAGA followers supposed to use that line
07:16when they were arguing with family at Thanksgiving?
07:18He pardoned a drug kingpin, Uncle Rick.
07:21Whoa, whoa, whoa, okay, relax.
07:22It's not his fault. He didn't know the guy.
07:24He just signs whatever they give him.
07:27He thought he was pardoning Kid Rock
07:29for turning the American flag into a slanket.
07:33But don't worry.
07:34After the dangerous drug kingpin was released from prison,
07:38the president got up to speed.
07:39One of the reasons that was done
07:41is because of the fact that the party in power
07:44felt very strongly that that man was treated very badly.
07:47I studied it very quickly,
07:49and then I studied it in great detail.
07:51You studied it very quickly,
07:52and then you studied it in great detail?
07:56He's basically paraphrasing the lyrics to Kokomo.
07:59I took it fast.
08:00I took it fast, and then I took it slow.
08:05With regards to pardoning the drug kingpin.
08:09That's where I want to go.
08:11Also, feel free to flip those two
08:12the next time you pardon a criminal.
08:14I mean, what's the rush?
08:15We wanted to get him out quickly,
08:16because if he missed another day of work
08:18at the drug dealer factory,
08:21he was going to get his pay docked.
08:23So the sales pitch for Trump's immigration agenda
08:26was to deport violent criminals and drug dealers.
08:28But, of course, that was just a cover
08:29for a much more draconian plan
08:31run by White House lab assistant Stephen Miller.
08:42It turns out Miller has a much different focus
08:45from what Trump promised voters he would do.
08:48Stephen Miller held a meeting screaming at ICE officials
08:50to arrest more undocumented immigrants.
08:53Miller setting a new quota of 3,000 arrests per day
08:56to include more than just migrants with criminal records.
08:59The conservative Washington Examiner, a conservative paper,
09:02has this quote out of a private meeting
09:05where Stephen Miller is screaming at agents,
09:07what do you mean you're going after criminals?
09:09Why aren't you at Home Depot?
09:10Why aren't you at 7-Eleven?
09:11Home Depot and 7-Eleven?
09:13What happened to violent criminals?
09:14The only criminals at 7-Eleven are teenagers
09:17who use fake IDs to buy porno mags.
09:19And if a teenager is still buying a physical porno mag
09:23in the year 2026, they shouldn't be arrested.
09:25They should be celebrated.
09:28Kids don't read anymore.
09:30Social media has destroyed their attention spans.
09:33If they're building literacy and learning to love print media
09:36by illegally purchasing a copy of Jugs and Tugs magazine,
09:41then so be it.
09:42By the way, Jugs and Tugs is not a real magazine.
09:46But it could be if you or someone you know

10:13The point is, Trump lied about his immigration agenda.
10:16He said he would focus on violent criminals.
10:18Instead, his administration has blanketed the country
10:21with federal agents disrupting neighborhoods,
10:23Home Depots, 7-Elevens, and even schools.
10:26Roosevelt High School students speaking out
10:28after they tell our news team ICE agents were there yesterday.
10:32A student telling our news team ICE agents arrived
10:35at Roosevelt High yesterday afternoon
10:38and blocked part of the road
10:40and chased people near the entrance.
10:42We're told some students were pepper sprayed
10:44during the incident.
10:45The student tells us someone was tackled by federal agents.
10:49Yesterday, I was at Roosevelt High School,
10:51which is in my district,
10:52and there were two people who were taken by ICE,
10:55both of them U.S. citizens.
10:56They pepper sprayed children
10:58and teachers outside of the school.
11:00They pepper sprayed students and teachers at a high school
11:03as if a teacher's job isn't hard enough.
11:05Now they have to deal with out-of-control ICE officers
11:07shooting pepper spray at them.
11:09We pay them $40,000 a year.
11:10We give them coffee, make them buy their own classroom supplies,
11:13and put them to work in 60-year-old buildings
11:15filled with asbestos so they can beg hormonal 15-year-olds
11:18to stop scrolling on TikTok.
11:20Then we demand that they teach our kids what a fractal is,
11:23even though we don't even know what a fractal is.
11:26I wouldn't know a fractal if it slapped me in the face,
11:29which is unlikely because I'm almost certain
11:31fractals don't have hands.
11:34And to me, the arrest quote
11:36as the Trump administration has put in place,
11:38ICE has had to lower its recruitment standards.
11:41New reporting is raising serious questions
11:42about the Trump administration's push
11:44to rapidly expand the ICE workforce.
11:47According to The Atlantic, more than a third of new recruits
11:49are failing basic fitness tests, push-ups, sit-ups,
11:52even a short run, with senior ICE officials using words
11:55like pathetic and disaster to describe the process.
11:57To pass, recruits must do 15 push-ups and 32 sit-ups
12:02and run 1.5 miles in 14 minutes.
12:07That shouldn't be that hard.
12:10Oh, my God. He sounds just like my trainer.
12:14You sure you want me to do five reps with these tens, Kevin?
12:18That shouldn't be that hard.
12:20As a general rule, if you have to lower your standards
12:23to recruit people for the thing you're doing,
12:25that means you shouldn't be doing it.
12:27It's why the Marines are the few and the proud
12:29and not just any schmuck with jeans and a face mask.
12:32And this behavior is lawless and out of control.
12:35And on top of that, most of the detained migrants
12:37have no criminal record.
12:38In fact, more than 170 U.S. citizens
12:40have been caught up in the ICE dragnet.
12:42So it probably won't surprise you to learn
12:43that most Americans really, really don't like what they're seeing.
12:46He's underwater across the board.
12:49Immigration, a key issue for him, underwater by six points.
12:52On immigration, I think they're running down
12:54with ICE agents in New York City,
12:56you know, pulling people off landscape trucks or the roof,
12:59or roofers probably not as popular as putting criminals in jail.
13:03Also, landscaping is hard work.
13:04I find it hard to believe that criminals would spend all night
13:06dealing drugs and doing violence only to set an alarm
13:09so they can wake up early to get started on Gary's hedges.
13:15So the Trump administration lied about their deportation plan,
13:18and now they're lying about the ICE shooting in Minneapolis.
13:21The Trump team knows that what we can all see
13:24with our own eyes is indefensible,
13:25which is why they have to lie about it.
13:27It was an act of domestic terrorism.
13:29What happened was our ICE officers
13:32were out in an enforcement action.
13:34They got stuck in the snow because of the adverse weather
13:36that is in Minneapolis.
13:38They were attempting to push out their vehicle,
13:39and a woman attacked them and those surrounding them
13:42and attempted to run them over and ram them with her vehicle.
13:45Two things. First of all, that's a blatant lie
13:47contradicted by the video evidence
13:49we can all see clearly with our own eyes,
13:51probably because we're not wearing oversized cowboy hats.
13:56Why is Kristi Noem always in some sort of cosplay outfit?
13:58Seriously, look at all these different fits she's tried on
14:01for her stupid photo op.
14:03She loves camouflage so much, she even uses it on her lectern.
14:07Why are you disguising the lectern?
14:10Whoa, Kristi Noem can make a microphone float.
14:15You guys, these days suck.
14:17Trying to find a way to talk about the world we live in
14:20with levity sucks so much, but I do think it's important
14:24to finish with this.
14:25A 37-year-old mother in a Honda Pilot
14:27was shot dead on a residential street,
14:29and they're calling her a terrorist.
14:31The same people who called those who stormed
14:33the federal building heroes, the same people who supported
14:36pardoning those who beat Capitol Police officers
14:38while ignoring their orders to stop,
14:40are telling us that a woman shot dead in her own car,
14:43in her own community, is a domestic terrorist.
14:46And when they do that, they're also telling us who they are.
14:49And it is our job to never forget what they've told us.
14:52I'll certainly never forget because...
14:54I started it very quickly,
14:55and then I started it in great detail.

24:47So they were actually props that you could eat,
24:50and so being on an airplane, oh, yeah,
24:51so the e-bikes is going to be a disaster.

24:59The show takes place in Berlin,
25:01but you shot it in London.
25:03Whereabouts in London did you shoot it?
25:05So we shot in a studio in Dagenham.
25:08Okay.
25:08Dagenham is famous for Ford's Motor Company.
25:12It was a big factory, you know, industrial area,
25:15and actually when I was working at Ford's
25:16between the ages of 17 and 19,
25:19I used to go to Dagenham to work.
25:22And what were you doing back then?
25:23I was on the production line.
25:25Gotcha.
25:26I was, you know, I used to clock in around 7 p.m.
25:28and finish around 6 a.m. in the morning.
25:30Oh, my God.
25:31It was fun times.
25:32Yeah.
25:33Are you handy?
25:34Did you learn anything in those two years
25:36that makes you handy with cars now?
25:41Listen, here's the production line.
25:42All I know is that there's a certain amount of cars
25:44that were made by me at a certain point
25:46that don't have their seals done properly.
25:50Because I was falling asleep.
25:52Wait a second.
25:52So there's a whole bunch of defects.
25:54It must be nice to go back in this part of your career
25:57as opposed to working on the assembly line.
25:58It was actually special.
25:59There's one road to get to Dagenham,
26:01and that's the A13.
26:02And I was traveling to work on Hijack 2
26:05when I was on the same road I used to go to
26:08towards the factory.
26:09That's pretty great.
26:09That's pretty good.
26:10Yeah, it was pretty good.
26:12You, um...
26:12Do you...
26:13Your trailer on set, I've also heard,
26:15because you also, you're an accomplished musician as well,
26:19that you've sort of turned your trailer
26:20into a music studio.
26:21Is that accurate?
26:22Yeah, I've got a, you know, a little vocal booth,
26:26and I've got a computer, and the speakers and that.
26:29So what I was doing on Hijack,
26:30because it was so much fun to be on the train all day,
26:33that in between takes, I would go and write some songs.
26:38That's really fun.
26:39That was a lot of fun, actually.
26:39Did you have enough time between...
26:41Oh, did you watch that?
26:42Oh, my days!
26:42Just right over.
26:43You're good.

26:58When you work those hours,
27:00like, that late at night,
27:01when you're working at Ford,
27:02like, when you go home,
27:03like, would you sleep until when?
27:05Yeah.
27:06So you'd get home around, I don't know,
27:088 a.m.
27:09Yeah.
27:09From down to A13, back home.
27:12And then, you know,
27:13just, you know, really dark curtains,
27:15try and sleep.
27:16I'd sleep till about probably 1 p.m.,
27:18and then I'd get up and go back to work again.
27:20And do you have the dream of being an actor
27:22at this point in your life?
27:24Okay.
27:24Yeah, yeah, yeah.
27:24And so, but are you going on auditions?
27:27Like, from one to,
27:28before you have to get back to Dagenham?
27:30No, no.
27:31At that junction, I mean,
27:32because my dad worked there, right?
27:33So he was like,
27:35actors don't make money.
27:36Yeah.
27:36What are you doing?
27:37You come to work.
27:37I'm like, oh.
27:39And actually, for two years,
27:40I really studied my craft,
27:42you know, when I was not working.
27:43Yeah.
27:44And on my holidays,
27:46I used to come to New York City,
27:47because I really wanted to go to
27:49Lee Strasberg School of Action
27:51in Union Square.
27:53Yep.
27:53And so when I saved up enough money,
27:55I came out to New York.
27:56And was that the tipping point?
27:57Like, basically, you came out?
27:58And how did your dad react
28:00when it was official
28:02that actors do make money
28:03and you were...
28:04Like, was he very happy
28:06when it turned out
28:07that you had been right?
28:08He was like, listen,
28:09if it don't work out,

29:55it's a big hit
29:56in the late-night offices.
29:58A lot of people are huge fans,
29:59and it's one of these really
30:01exceptional stories these days,
30:02which is,
30:03it wasn't a giant show
30:04in the beginning,
30:05but you had a network
30:06that believed in it,
30:08and I feel like it just,
30:09the fan base has grown every year.
30:10Do you sense that?
30:11Yeah, I mean,
30:12it wasn't giant,
30:13I think,
30:13is actually, like,
30:14a very kind way of saying it.
30:17No one watched the show.
30:19No, I'm joking.
30:20I mean, people,
30:21it was, you know,
30:22it was a kind of cult hit,
30:24that's what we say.
30:25It was like a little,
30:26a gem,
30:27and the people that did watch it
30:29really enjoyed it still
30:30in season one,
30:31but definitely,
30:33I mean, you know,
30:33when I was working
30:34with people,
30:35they used to say,
30:36like,
30:36well, have you done other things?
30:38Oh, yeah,

30:39called Industry.
30:40That's nice.

30:44that has changed now.

30:46people watch the show,
30:48which is great.

30:51that believes in something,

31:08we always go into every season.
31:09We love the show.
31:10I love playing Yasmin,

31:13I love the scripts.
31:14It's amazing.
31:15So I always want to do my best,

31:17for, you know,
31:18just for that reason.
31:19But I think,
31:20I feel this kind of fear
31:22a little bit now
31:23that people used to feel
31:25like they found the show
31:26and it was theirs
31:27and, like,
31:28they loved it
31:28because no one knew about it.
31:30And now,

31:31people have started to say,
31:33this show is really great.
31:34I don't want people to be like,

31:37what to think.

31:40People like to find a gem,
31:42but I think it just brings,

31:47the writers of the show,

34:01but we did it ourselves.

34:29And is it true that Kit

34:31did he have wedding advice
34:32going into it?
34:33Yes,
34:33he had lots.
34:34So I,
34:34I was,
34:36I was planning my wedding
34:37throughout the shoot
34:38of season four.
34:39And,
34:40obviously,
34:41we have a lot to do together,
34:42Kit and I.
34:42So when you kind of
34:43got that downtime
34:44and we're sitting there
34:45on our phones,
34:45I'm like,
34:46oh,
34:46do you like these flowers?
34:47He was amazing
34:49at helping out.
34:50But the one piece of advice
34:52that he gave
34:52that like really
34:53kind of stuck with me
34:54was,
34:55and he was really
34:56hell bent on this actually.
34:58He was like,
34:59that first sip
35:00of champagne
35:01when you've said,
35:03I do,
35:03and you're like,
35:04yes,
35:05and everyone's screaming
35:06and clapping for you
35:07and you walk outside
35:08and they hand you
35:08a glass of champagne,
35:10make sure it is
35:10the best champagne.
35:13Like,
35:14really go for it.
35:15And I was like,
35:16oh, okay.
35:16And then I felt this pressure.
35:18He's going to be there.
35:20What if he sees some,
35:21like,
35:21God forbid,
35:22Prosecco.
35:23Yeah.
35:23Like,
35:24so we did
35:25and it was great advice.
35:26It really gets the mood going
35:29and everyone feels really good.
35:30My advice would have been like,
35:31and then all your guests
35:32serve them whatever.

35:35Serve them the cheapest stuff
35:36you can get your hands on.

35:40Another thing I'd say
35:41about the show,
35:42it's not G-rated, right?
35:44I don't know if you have
35:44the rating system in the UK,
35:46but, you know,
35:46this is not a kid's show.

35:48And in fact,
35:48I walked in the other day,
35:51your producer of the segment,
35:53Sarah,
35:53was watching new episodes,
35:55and I didn't realize
35:56what she was watching
35:57and I thought
35:57there was going to be
35:58an HR issue.

36:01on her desk,

36:01that's not okay at work.

36:19ah, I watched it.
36:22And especially,
36:23sort of,
36:23depending on who
36:23they watched it with,
36:24but now I'm a bit more,
36:26I'm doing a film
36:27at the moment
36:28and I am training
36:29and my PT was like,
36:31I was flying to New York
36:32to come and do
36:33all of this stuff
36:34and he was like,
36:35oh,
36:36I'll give it a watch.
36:37And I was like,
36:38maybe don't.
36:39Or if you do,
36:40like,
36:40start with season three,
36:42because I,
36:42you know,
36:43but Noah,
36:45he,
36:46but it's funny.
36:47For me,
36:48it's mostly old teachers
36:49that I find very difficult.

36:52my old history teacher
36:54actually messaged me
36:55on Facebook

37:21some Italian in there.
37:23Are you,
37:23is that a skill you have
37:25or is something
37:25you had to learn
37:26for the part?
37:27It's not a skill
37:28I have.
37:29And it's not really
37:30a skill that I,

37:31I did learn for the part.
37:32Like,
37:32I learned what I had to say.
37:33Yeah.
37:34You know,
37:34but obviously
37:35I can't become fluent
37:36in like seven languages
37:37for a show.
37:38So, I,
37:39I'm,
37:40I did Spanish
37:41for A Level.
37:42So,
37:43Yasmin speaks
37:44mostly Spanish
37:45when she speaks
37:46another language,
37:47especially in the
37:47first couple seasons.
37:48I speak a lot
37:49of German this season.
37:51But Yasmin is like,
37:52not particularly
37:53great at her job.
37:54So,
37:55all of the other
37:55characters,
37:57so,
37:59all of the other
38:00characters
38:02have a lot
38:02of finance
38:03to do
38:04and I don't really.
38:05Oh,
38:06so they have to do
38:06the language of like,
38:08yeah,
38:08financial language.
38:09Which is,
38:09that jargon might be
38:10even harder than Arabic.
38:11Totally.
38:12Yeah.
38:12Yeah, for sure.
38:13So you lucked out.
38:14I really was like,
38:15woohoo.
38:16Yeah.
38:17I also want to
38:18compliment you.
38:19You were in one of my
38:19favorite movies this year
38:20called Black Bag,
38:21a Steven Soderbergh movie.
38:22And it's just fantastic.

38:29and a lot of this film
38:31and one of the things
38:31that makes it so thrilling
38:32is just a bunch of people
38:33in the intelligence industry

38:38Which I feel like
38:39I've never seen before.

39:08you work with lots
39:09of incredible actors,
39:10but like,
39:10she's really,
39:11if you'd have asked me

39:16Cate would have always been
39:18the first,
39:19like,
39:20oh, Cate Blanchett.
39:21She's amazing.
39:22So it was a real,
39:23it really was a pinch me moment
39:25and amazing
39:25and just a really,
39:28a great lesson.
39:29It's a great movie as well
39:29because, you know,
39:30there are, you know,
39:31a couple actors obviously
39:32who I've been huge fans of
39:33for a long time
39:34and then the rest of you
39:35who I was less familiar with,
39:36like,
39:37are all just so great as well.
39:38So I highly recommend that.
