01:59Across five gruelling heats, six female contenders battled it out to reach the quarters.
02:06Tonight, Ella and Emily take on the Gladiators and each other for a place in the semifinals.
02:12And first up, going head-to-head tonight for that place, is Army doctor Ella, who's no stranger to high
02:20-pressured environments.
02:22In the heats, Ella took some heavy hits in collision but still produced a dominant display.

02:32With a five-second head start in the Eliminator, she confidently sailed through to these quarterfinals.

02:53And she became the first ever contender to go the distance against Cyclone on Jewel.
