00:00Joel Embiid said last night, I just saw this, he didn't go to the free throw line as much as
00:04he expected to go to the free throw line.
00:06Yeah.
00:07Did he watch the same game you and I watched?
00:09I watched it.
00:09That dude, by the way, I don't think he missed a single free throw either.
00:12He's a great free throw shooter.
00:14No, that's a weapon in close gauge for him.
00:16I don't think, I'm just checking right now.
00:18You might have missed one.
00:18Because he lived at the free throw line.
00:20I know he played the second half, basically.
00:22I'm just checking because I honestly don't know the answer.
00:25Oh, it's a lot less than I thought.
00:27Wow.
00:27If you had to take a guess, how many free throws?
00:29I would have thought.
00:30I was going to say 16.
00:31Yeah, I would have thought 12.
00:32He took nine.
00:33He's eight for nine.
00:34Yeah.
00:35So, here's the thing.
00:36I think what that is is set the toe because one thing the Knicks definitely did, just to be clear,
00:41and this is a credit to Knicks.
00:42They were a lot more physical, a lot more active.
00:45The Sixers are going to have to up their activity level, period.
00:48Yeah, Knicks are a very good defensive team.
00:50Very aggressive.
00:50Right.
00:51So, they're going to have to meet that energy, which they didn't do.
00:54That's to try to get some more calls.
00:56I don't think.
00:56And Max had a bad game.
00:57Yeah.
00:58Period.
00:58He's not going to go one for it.
01:00Like, he's going to shoot better, I think.
01:00I mean, I think at halftime, he had one made bucket.
01:03Yeah.
01:04He had more points.
01:04He had like six free throws, four free throws, whatever it was.
01:06Yeah.
01:06He just had an off night.
01:07Yeah, he had a bad guy.
01:08Because he's a great player.
01:09I love watching that guy play.
01:09And credit to the Knicks in that way as well.
01:11So, I'm not taking anything away.
01:12But when you're trying to meet the moment, I think you're doing that not so much for you to get
01:15to the line more.
01:16It's to make sure you're allowed to foul more if you feel like they were very physical.
01:21To meet that.
01:21Because they're going to have to meet that energy.
01:23And their starters have to play more than the Knicks thing.
01:26Mike Brown's thing, and this is another credit to the Knicks, is by playing more players, they have depth.
01:30The Sixers are playing six and a half guys.
01:33While the Knicks are comfortable with maybe nine at this point in a playoff game, that's going to make a
01:37difference over the long haul.
01:39The foul line slows the game down and allows everybody to rest.
01:42Other than Drummond and Edwards, you guys don't have a bench.
01:45That's it.
01:45I mean.
01:46And Drummond's just out there to kill time.
01:48Just to kill the beat.
01:49No expectation of him.
01:50He's not expected to score at all for them.
01:52If you get any points out of Drummond, it's a gift.
01:54Right.
01:54And he's just there to give Embiid rest.
01:57Because Embiid can't play 40 minutes anymore.
01:59Right.
01:59He may have to.
02:00But obviously, his legs have, you know, he's obviously a broken player.
02:03And he did have the surgery and all that stuff.
02:05So, yeah.
02:05I want to give you an opportunity to talk to Boston right now, Tyrone.
02:09You were taking an outright beating on line after your attack on Brown yesterday.
02:15I'm taking it by proxy.
02:17I didn't even say it.
02:18I support Jalen Brown.
02:20I love watching Jalen Brown play.
02:22But since my name was associated with it, everybody's yelling at me.
02:26I think Jalen Brown's a great player, not a good player.
02:29I don't.
02:30And yesterday, you attacked Jalen Brown.
02:31That's right.
02:32And I don't want to get into a Brown conversation again.
02:35I want you to look at the camera, whichever one you look at.
02:37But I want your thoughts as a Philadelphia sports fan on the current state of Boston sports.
02:44Yeah.
02:44So, Mike Vrabel, biggest scandal since Deflategate.
02:47Yep.
02:47Alex Corr already got fired.
02:49So, that's the Patriots and the Red Sox.
02:51The Bruins have been eliminated.
02:53And the Celtics blew a 3-1 lead to your 76ers.
02:57That's right.
02:58One might say that Boston, while they have won titles and been in big games, I wouldn't want to be
03:05a Boston fan today.
03:06No.
03:07But this is more about you and Boston.
03:09Yeah.
03:09I'm going to step out of it for a second.
03:11Uh-huh.
03:11Your message, not about Jalen Brown.
03:13Yeah.
03:14That's just the entryway to this.
03:16Mm-hmm.
03:16Your thoughts as a Philadelphia sports fan as you compare yourself to Boston sports fans.
03:23Yeah.
03:23Because they're very sensitive, too.
03:25Very sensitive.
03:26Listen, you guys have not been down this bad since they popped Crispus Attucks way back at the start of
03:31the Revolutionary War.
03:32Y'all down bad right now.
03:34You haven't been this down bad in hundreds of years.
03:36Look, I know you can say, oh, well, the Patriots won.
03:40Yeah.
03:40You didn't do a damn thing, Boston fan.
03:44Tom Brady did that.
03:45And when he left, so did the winning.
03:47You saw what happened in the Super Bowl.
03:48The Celtics, it was a nice little cute run.
03:51But without Tatum, you found out what happens when Brown's your leader.
03:55Down again.
03:56The Bruins, you guys have underachieved over the last 10 years.
04:00You won three or four President's Cups in the regular season and came away with one Stanley Cup.
04:05Why?
04:06Because now you're slowly becoming the city of losers.
04:10And your activity and your threats towards me, which don't faze me.
04:15I just want to make it clear because I'm not hard to find Boston tough guys, if that really exists.
04:20It shows that you're spoiled babies who are just upset because you've come back down to earth.
04:27All of us lose sometimes.
04:28There could be but one winner.
04:30And for a short, fluky amount of time, it was y'all.
04:34It's over.
04:35Welcome to the real world.
04:37All of you Boston frauds.
04:39And as a city, I'll admit that I like Boston.
04:43Even with the racism, I like it.
04:45But do I like it enough to care about your sports teams, Craig?
04:48I have to be honest.
04:49I must say nay.
04:50I'll be honest with you.
04:50I can't do it now.
04:50I want to take a break.
04:51I'll be honest with you.
