00:11Greetings comrades, here from Beijing, the Chinese government has announced on Monday the delivery of two shipments of humanitarian aid
00:21to the Lebanese government,
00:22totaling approximately 17 containers of supplies, including food, tents, and essential items.
00:32Chinese ambassador to Lebanon, Chen Xuandong, expressed his country concerns about the humanitarian situation and reaffirmed China's solidarity with the
00:43Lebanese people,
00:45who he described as a reliable partner.
00:48This assistant is part of two shipments totaling approximately 1,000 tons of supplies, including mattress, blankets, hygiene kits, and
01:02food,
01:03demonstrating the China's commitment to the country's sovereignty, stability, and unity.
01:09The Lebanese authorities expressed their gratitude for the aid, noted that it came in a critical time,
01:18with more than one million people displaced, underscoring the urgency of international assistance.
01:27In this context, the humanitarian crisis has worsened with the intensification of the Israeli offensive in the country,
01:38leaving more than 2,600 dead and over 8,000 wounded.
01:45Among the victims are hundreds of children and women, as well as more than 100 healthcare workers.
