SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS. – Un adulto mayor, residente en las cercanías del sector Santa Ana, ha alzado su voz para denunciar el acoso y las constantes agresiones verbales que recibe por parte de una vecina conocida como "Chory".  El afectado relató que los problemas con su vecina no son recientes. Según sus declaraciones, la mujer busca constantemente generar conflictos con él, a pesar de que este asegura evitar cualquier tipo de confrontación.  "Ella vive peleando conmigo y yo no busco problemas con ella", expresó el hombre durante la entrevista.  Uno de los episodios más tensos ocurrió durante la inauguración de unos nuevos apartamentos en la zona. El denunciante afirmó que "Chory" lo confrontó públicamente frente a los presentes, lanzándole una serie de insultos sin motivo aparente.  Incluso mencionó que los propietarios de los inmuebles intervinieron en su defensa, instando a la mujer a dejar de molestarlo, resaltando que él es un residente antiguo y pacífico de la zona.
