00:00Foreign Minister Evangelio emphasized that the legal team appeared before the International Court of Justice
00:04with the aim of defending Venezuela's territorial claim over Guayana's equipa.
00:14The 1966 Geneva Agreement is the only valid instrument that commits the parties to seeking a solution
00:22satisfactory to both nations, and this has been proven today.
00:28We have heard all of Guayana's arguments, where can we say, but it has been proven that there is no
00:34other solution than indirect negotiation.
00:38We have seen a series of false arguments and manipulations of the evidence that exists showing that the territory of
00:45Guayana's equipa is Venezuelan,
00:48trying to address trying, through technicalities, to seek a resolution through the International Court of Justice, which we do not
00:55recognize.
00:56It's to have this case resolve a political issue, a matter of controversy between two countries.
