00:17saying he was calling on Americans to end the war in Iran.
00:21Well, I'm out here because on Friday, Guido back here on this arch free climbed this arch
00:28in protest of the war on Iran and also he said on AI.
00:32I came out yesterday afternoon and stayed for about three hours and today I had some comrades
00:37come out with me and we're just out here to support him in that protest.
00:41I mean, I understand the purpose of the protest with everything that's going on in this world
00:47and in society and policies.
00:49I think a lot of Americans, I'm not going to say a lot of Americans, but there's people
00:54that do sympathize with the Palestinian people, the people that sympathize with the people
01:00in Iran that's taking place.
01:02And not everybody completely agrees with everything that's going on.
01:06Emergency responders have restricted traffic to one lane in each direction on the bridge.
01:12Guido Reichstatter, a Florida native, previously climbed the Frederick Douglas Bridge in 2022 to
01:18protest the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Roe versus Wade.
01:22He remained on the bridge for more than twenty-four hours before being taken into custody.
