ನೀವು ಯಾಕೆ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕೇಳ್ತೀರಾ? ಒಂದು ನಿಮಿಷ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಅಪಾಯಿಂಟ್‌ಮೆಂಟ್ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಾ? ಇಲ್ಲ. ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಗೆ ಕರೆಯಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಈಗ ಯಾಕೆ ಕೇಳ್ತೀರಾ? ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಇಷ್ಟಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ‘ಲಾಲನ್’ ಅಂದ್ರೇನು ಅನ್ನೋದನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನು ಓದಿದ ಹಿಂದಿ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಪದವೇ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂತಾ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಹಿಮಂತ ಬಿಸ್ವ ಶರ್ಮ

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma lashed out at a journalist, saying:
“Why are you asking questions? One minute—did you take an appointment from me? No. I did not invite you to any press conference. Then why are you asking now? I do not wish to speak with you. I don’t even know what ‘Lalan’ means. In the Hindi I studied, this word didn’t exist.”
He expressed anger at the journalist while responding to the question.
