Liberals expect victory for Jo Palmer, tight race shaping in Huon following Legislative Council elections

The race for the legislative council seat of Huon is on a knife’s edge with preferences set to determine the fate of incumbent Dean Harriss. Independent challenger Clare Glade-Wright has polled strongly but the pair will now face a nervous wait. Tasmania's upper house will retain one of its members though with Jo Palmer holding a big lead in Rosevears.
