00:00My name is Rachel Dyer. I am the Illawarra Operations Manager for Dress for Success New South Wales ACT Illawarra.
00:07Today we're hosting a super fashion frenzy at the Illawarra Yacht Club and this is day two where everything is
00:14$5.
00:14Yesterday we had VIP session and then we had a general admission session and what these sales do, we have
00:22two a year.
00:22They raise much needed funds to support our services. What we do is empower women to achieve financial mobility through
00:30providing styling services which are free styling services where they get to keep, the ladies get to keep a free
00:36outfit and we also have online coaching program.
00:40So it's all about trying to get women into work and stay into work so that they can live a
00:45rich and full life.
00:46We have had an amazing response. This venue, the Illawarra Yacht Club, kindly give this to us for free which
00:53is an enormous boost to running this sale and the ticket sales were sold out quite quickly in some of
01:00the sessions.
01:01Oh look, I'm here to support Dress for Success. Rachel does an incredible job in the Illawarra making sure that
01:08women who are going for job interviews or maybe need to go to court for whatever reason, for all sorts
01:15of different reasons.
01:15This is a community-based initiative and I'm so proud to be a part of Dress for Success. It is
01:22global. We know this and we know the fantastic work that Dress for Success do in all of our communities.
01:28Look, I've picked up a few bargains already, Adam, and I'll be trying them on in the bridal suite area.
01:33I'm looking forward to not only supporting Dress for Success but I'm very much about recycling clothes and fashion.
01:41I think we see too much ending up in our tips and our waste depots and I think that there's
01:47something here for every woman of every size and of every socioeconomic background.
01:53So this is a fantastic initiative and I wish them nothing but success. I donate myself and today I'm buying.
02:00So it's that whole idea of recycling which is very important.
02:04Thank you very much.
