00:03Let's say you're driving on the highway and the worst possible thing happened.
00:16Nuclear explosion. E.M.P.
00:20Your car doesn't work, you're alone, you're in the woods, you have no water, no food,
00:26you need to survive long enough to get back to civilization.
00:29What you're going to do.
00:33Hello, Pablo.
00:35You're lost, Pablo.
00:37You're in the forest, we have not made help.
00:38You can't do this alone.
00:40What do we do?
00:41What about food?
00:42You're in danger, Pablo.
00:44What about water?
00:45Get out, Pablo.
00:46It's gonna be dangerous.
00:48Wake up, Pablo.
00:49You can't do this alone.
00:53Wake up!
00:58Come with me if you want to live.
01:00This is Mitch Vayuf.
01:01I'm lucky enough that he emerged from the woods to show me how to survive.
01:06Oh, hi, Mitch.
01:07Nice to meet you, Mitch.
01:08Me too, Pablo.
01:08What am I doing here?
01:09That's a great question.
01:10We're going to try to make sure you don't die.
01:13I'm Mitch.
01:14I'm a prior U.S. Air Force SEER Specialist.
01:16I've spent the last 12 years of my career in the military specializing and focusing on
01:23how to train anybody, how to survive anywhere in the world regardless of the situation.
01:27We're going to show you everything that you need to know in order to be able to survive
01:31out in the woods at least for 24 hours and be able to get back to some form of civilization.
01:37How much time do we have here?
01:39We'll be here for 24 hours.
01:4024 hours.
01:41So the entire night.
01:42Yup.
01:42That's fun.
01:43So it will be nice to find a place to sleep.
01:45Yup.
01:45That's going to be part of it.
01:47We're going to have to make that.
01:48So we've got to build shelter.
01:49Yup.
01:50Source water.
01:51Start the fire.
01:52What about food?
01:53We'll make it.
01:54We'll make food.
01:55Yes.
01:56We'll make food.
01:57Yes.
01:59Well, I'm looking forward to that.
02:01What are you allowing me to have, tool-wise?
02:04What do you got on you?
02:07Tumbler and a fixed knife.
02:10It will do.
02:11Alright.
02:12It'll do.
02:13Home Depot.
02:14We are wildly unprepared for this situation.
02:18One of the worst ideas I've ever done is bringing this useless dog on a shoot like this.
02:26We're going to start with shelter.
02:28So we're going to be building what's called a debris shelter.
02:30Mm-hmm.
02:30Off of an A-frame base.
02:33We'll start off with a large, long ridge pole.
02:36That's going to be at least your height plus a little bit extra.
02:40And then we'll build what we call whale bones on top of that in order to give it kind of
02:45like rafters.
02:46General rule of thumb for shelter site locations is trying to find someplace that's good and elevated.
02:51We want to get above where the water is going to be sitting and standing.
02:55And ideally, we want a set of live trees that kind of make a V.
03:01These natural Vs are amazing starting points for structures.
03:07Uh-huh.
03:07Because it gives you something to lodge off of.
03:10You're going to check the ground first.
03:12Make sure that it's free of any ant hills or holes of other ground burring animals.
03:17Oh.
03:18Look at this thing.
03:20Tick right there on your pants.
03:21Look at that.
03:22Oh, you.
03:22He's going towards my pants.
03:26F*** that.
03:28No f***ing ticks.
03:29The things that are going to be more of a hazard to you than just that tick.
03:33Dead branches.
03:34Dead trees.
03:35How do you recognize those from the healthy trees?
03:38Good healthy trees will still have all of its bark on it.
03:40However, if it's sloughing off like this, this is dead.
03:45So that one's not even attached to the ground anymore.
03:48Holy s***.
03:49It would have just blown right over.
03:51If I know this is where we're going to be putting in for the night,
03:53I want to hold my arm out at about a 45 degree angle and look down the arm and rotate.
04:00If I see the top of those dead branches above my arm, I'm in its fall path.
04:07I think we gucci outside of this guy, but it's far enough.
04:11Right?
04:12No.
04:15Okay.
04:15Now we're good.
04:16Now we're good.
04:17We are building a house for me.
04:19We need to find a tree that will support it with a little Y.
04:24If we can push it down, we can break it up and we can use what we need.
04:28Then we're going to build a structure for it.
04:30So Mitch is breaking trees.
04:34Mitch.
04:34Yeah.
04:35Let me build my house, sir.
04:39I appreciate it.
04:41So shelter is probably something I can build.
04:43I do stuff around the house all the time.
04:45Build s***.
04:46The hardware store is like my favorite, favorite boutique.
04:51So shelter?
04:53Let's see.
04:55Hell yeah.
05:06What the f***.
05:08Yep.
05:09So.
05:12All right.
05:13Doing a great job.
05:15Look at that.
05:16All right.
05:16So we have this.
05:17I love that you did it all just using your hands when you have that sweet pocket knife
05:21with a saw on the back of it.
05:23That is a valid point.
05:25It's okay.
05:25You have tools.
05:26You can use tools.
05:27He's doing all right.
05:29He's kind of figuring out where things are and everything and whatnot.
05:33So he'll be fine.
05:36Well, the dead things above him, that could fall directly on top.
05:41That's not great.
05:42Not great.
05:44But if we build it strong enough, actually, no, that one will probably f***ing kill him.
05:49No, I'm not dying here.
05:50Yeah.
05:51No, we're not.
05:51We're going to do somewhere else.
05:52I'm taking this with me because it sounds like a good roof.
05:55I would do that.
05:55It's a good one.
05:56So where are we going?
05:58This right there.
05:58Right back over here.
05:59That's going to give you some more height.
06:01I think that's a great idea.
06:02Whatever you tell me, Mitch.
06:04We're starting to collect materials for our frame structure.
06:07Oh s***.
06:08We still have to build the rest of the structure, put the whale bones up, put the insulation layer on.
06:13Ow.
06:14F***ing s***.
06:15Make sure that it's packed enough with enough insulation and it's already getting close to noon.
06:20And we still don't have water.
06:22Guys, you guys be careful.
06:23We still don't have food.
06:24It's up.
06:25Still don't have fire.
06:26So all things that we still need to do and don't have.
06:30We should have been doing this hours ago.
06:36What was the most challenging thing you've ever done to survive?
06:41Well, I can tell you the most terrifying thing I've had to do.
06:44I'll take it.
06:45Open ocean survival training.
06:48Yeah.
06:49You heard that right.
06:50That's a thing.
06:51And just for people who don't know, you don't drink ocean.
06:56Correct.
06:57Salt water will dehydrate you and kill you very, very quickly, especially like ocean water.
07:04All right.
07:05So now that we have all the whale bones set and the framework for our structure is already
07:10there, we need to add in our insulation layer.
07:13What we're going to be using is debris, which it can be literally anything.
07:17We have a bunch of dead leaves and everything else around.
07:20So we're going to collect as much of that as we can.
07:22We're going to pile it on top of this.
07:24Ideally, it should be thick enough to the point for, from the inside, you can't see sunlight.
07:30And that will block the water coming through?
07:32Correct.
07:37It's looking pretty good.
07:38It's nice and packed.
07:40It's insulated.
07:40Uh, there's hardly any patches that we had to really patch up inside of there.
07:44So it was looking really solid.
07:45You can even just tell just by the sound when you get in there, it dampens everything.
07:49It means that all the critters and coyotes tonight aren't going to wake them up.
07:53Overall, I'd say it's about a eight out of 10.
07:55Oh, shit.
07:57This is a solid start.
07:58It's a good platform.
07:59Should hold up, keep them nice and warm throughout the night.
08:02So building shelter was probably the easiest part of the day.
08:05Knocking over the trees, breaking them, carrying them, no problemo.
08:10But doing it without any food or water all day long, well, that was not easy.
08:16How's your decision making?
08:19I'm undecisive.
08:20Well, that sounds like you're dehydrated.
08:24Probably.
08:25You're going to start getting a headache?
08:26I already have headaches.
08:27Right about here?
08:28Yeah.
08:29Uh-huh. That's a dehydration headache?
08:30Yep. I have that for an hour.
08:32He needs water.
08:33He needs water.
08:34What usually happens is you start getting overworked.
08:37Uh-huh.
08:37And when you're working too hard and you're not taking care of your needs, you're low on calories, you're dehydrated,
08:43you get into what's called a brain fog.
08:46What?
08:46You make poor decisions even though you know better.
08:49And you don't start establishing things like you know you should be doing.
08:52And it makes more work for yourself because you're not taking care of it.
08:57We have lost the lav mic.
08:59So he's got the headphones on, pinging it like a submarine to track it down.
09:05Found it!
09:05Hey, hey!
09:07Hey!
09:08Got this!
09:08There we go!
09:12Well, we got to find water first before you can drink it.
09:15So the best way to do that is know where water collects.
09:18Go downhill.
09:19Gravity will provide.
09:21You'll start seeing more vines like these guys.
09:23They just kind of grow out of the ground more often.
09:26You'll see more ground vegetation.
09:28You'll have more moss like at the base of the trees here.
09:32More moss.
09:33Eventually, you'll just see the water itself.
09:36There it is.
09:38And then you'll also start feeling that temperature shift.
09:41The water looks fairly clear.
09:44It does.
09:44How do we know if it's okay to drink?
09:48You never actually know how clean it is without actually doing like chemical tests.
09:53We don't know if there's like a deer carcass that fell into the creek upstream.
09:57Yeah, you definitely make me want to drink that water for sure.
10:00Yeah.
10:01Well, we are.
10:01And it's going to happen.
10:03We're going to filter out as much debris and everything else as we possibly can when
10:08we're collecting it.
10:11Shirt.
10:11Fair enough.
10:12If you don't have a t-shirt, you have other problems.
10:16That is fair enough.
10:18Hell yeah, dude.
10:20We have some water.
10:21What about brain amoeba bacteria?
10:24This does not make your water safe to drink right away.
10:27Yeah, yeah.
10:28It just removes the majority of the debris from the water to start.
10:32The other thing that we're going to do to it is boil.
10:34And it's one of the oldest ways in order to clean water is to boil it, which is going to
10:38also
10:38kill all the bacteria and anything else that might have been living inside of it.
10:42It will just be dead.
10:42We spent about three hours building shelter.
10:46Yeah.
10:46And half an hour to...
10:48Thankfully, we have a creek next to us.
10:50Yeah.
10:50And then we're going to have to make a fire with bare hands, which we don't know how long
10:56that's going to take.
10:57Yep.
10:57So we're looking at...
10:58You're going to have about five to six hours before you drink some liquid.
11:03Sounds great.
11:05In times like that, you start to appreciate modern society.
11:09Because at this point, I'm hungry, I'm thirsty, and there's nothing I can do about it until
11:14I finish the job.
11:15Home sweet home.
11:17So we're building fire right here.
11:19Yep.
11:20So what's the method here?
11:21Whenever you're going to build a fire, you need to clear it down to bare mineral soil.
11:26So we definitely don't want to get the photo fire going.
11:30Nope.
11:30We're not going to have a really big fire.
11:32It's going to be pretty small.
11:34And now we want to find dead standing trees that are going to be dry all the way through
11:39to the core, ready to be pushed over.
11:41So we want all the bark to be on it.
11:44The bark is what's going to actually prevent water from soaking into the grains of the wood.
11:49So what we're going to do is we're going to open up the cambion layer of the tree
11:53in order to see if it's alive or dead.
11:55And if it strings and bends really easily, it's full of water.
12:01Uh-huh.
12:03Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding.
12:05There's a lot of no's before you get a yes.
12:07Yeah, I've noticed.
12:09This is definitely good.
12:10That looks...
12:11Okay.
12:12That's a hard wood, which is good.
12:15Perfect.
12:15There we go.
12:18What we're also going to do is start breaking this down into smaller pieces.
12:25That is interesting.
12:28Let me try those two.
12:29Yeah, get in there.
12:31Make sure you're always pushing.
12:34Woo!
12:36So much faster.
12:39And you break it down until you can't break it down anymore.
12:42That's good.
12:43Harder.
12:45To get it started, we need to split this down into all of our different stages.
12:50All right, my settee.
12:51Of kindling and everything else like that.
12:55Yeah, it's definitely hardwood.
12:58They burn hotter and they last a lot longer.
13:02Okay, so that's good.
13:03It's more work at the beginning, but it will last for a longer period of time.
13:07So we're looking for the biggest pieces for our kindling.
13:09It's going to be about the size of how thick your thumb is.
13:13The next stage is going to be about the size of a number two pencil.
13:19And then pencil lead.
13:23To do that, we're going to use what's called the beater stick method.
13:27We're going to take our log, use my knife, and...
13:35In order to split it in half.
13:37The volume.
13:38All right.
13:41I'm trying to just ox it.
13:46It might have broke my hand, actually.
13:49You good?
13:50Yeah.
13:50Getting dings, cuts, scrapes, all that sort of stuff, it just happens.
13:55Do we need to chop it more?
13:56Oh, yeah.
13:57Oh, yeah.
13:57All of it.
14:00Push down, not pull.
14:02There you go.
14:07Not all knives are made equal.
14:10This thing broke.
14:11Completely broken.
14:12I can't even close it anymore.
14:15Just remember, if you're going to do the beater stick thing, you need a fixed blade knife.
14:22Boom.
14:23Boom.
14:23So we are in front of my house here in Kentucky.
14:26I haven't eaten anything all day long.
14:28And we're going to drink that magic water that we took from the river.
14:32Which is kind of exciting.
14:34I will use some water.
14:37And then we're going to eat something.
14:38Yep.
14:40Yeah.
14:40So we're going to eat something.
14:41I don't know what it is.
14:43I'm going to eat it regardless because at this point my stomach is sucking my ass in.
14:49And I'm very hungry.
14:52Teamwork.
14:54The next part is what we call heartwood shavings.
14:57Build a platform that we're going to be building our fire on.
15:00So I'm going to use the flat portion of my blade like this.
15:03Prop this underneath my belt.
15:05Prop it onto the platform.
15:07I'm going to press down.
15:12As we're doing it, we also want to make sure none of this gets on the ground.
15:15Because it's going to get wet.
15:17Yep.
15:17It's not easy.
15:21It's not a race, but I'm helping.
15:30Mitch knows everything and he can do anything.
15:34I bet you that he can chisel up a car here and do some Flintstone shit and drive us away
15:39from here.
15:40So the next part is actually lighting it.
15:43Fire needs three things to exist.
15:46Air.
15:46Yep.
15:48Fire.
15:52Heat.
15:52Fuel.
15:53Oxygen.
15:54If you remove any one of those three things, your fire is going to die.
15:57Okay.
15:58So that's our fuel.
15:59We have our air.
16:00Yep.
16:01And now we have to apply heat.
16:02So many different ways of generating heat, including a ferricium rod and a piece of steel.
16:10I can send sparks into it.
16:12Shit.
16:13I'm definitely getting one of them ferricium rods and keeping it in my car.
16:19Holy shit.
16:19A thousand percent.
16:21Wow.
16:23It's there.
16:23There it is.
16:24It's there.
16:25And then from that little flame, we're going to take all those curlicues, put them directly into it.
16:32Once those go, then I grab onto my next smallest stage of prep and lay it on top so that
16:39it can consume and continue to work its way up.
16:44That is unbelievable.
16:46There is a lot of prep for it.
16:48It is a lot of prep.
16:49But it's just when you do all the hard work in advance, it lights that easy.
16:54If you skip steps, you will fight for hours to get it to light.
16:59I think this is our lesson to understand that shortcuts are not the best thing always.
17:03No.
17:04Sometimes you legitimately have to do the work.
17:08I think men are meant to endure hardship.
17:11I used to hear that as a kid and I always wondered why men are meant to struggle.
17:17It's because good things worth doing are hard to do.
17:21If you want to build something worthwhile, you're going to struggle to get it done.
17:26So we built the fire and now we're going to boil the water.
17:29What do we need to boil the water?
17:30I'm assuming we're not just putting a cup on top of that.
17:32Well, with mine, we can.
17:35Okay.
17:35Mine is a titanium cup so it transfers the heat really efficiently directly into the water
17:40and it will boil it directly.
17:42You brought an insulated thermos.
17:45Yup.
17:46Which has a vacuum sealed layer.
17:49What happens to a gas in a vacuum when they heat it up?
17:53It's going to explode.
17:54Yeah.
17:54Yup, not great.
17:55So we're not going to do that.
17:56So in order to boil the water inside of your cup, we're going to make what's called stone soup.
18:02So we've got to find stones and you said we're not looking for stones that were near the creek.
18:06Sounds nothing.
18:08Correct.
18:08Because the water in those stones can create small pores and if you put them in the fire,
18:13they also can potentially explode.
18:17You would think it would be so much easier just to find rocks.
18:20I know, right?
18:21Hey, that's a good one.
18:22We have stones, so wash them off so that we don't have dirt on them.
18:27Mitch, water smells like shit.
18:30Probably shit, innit?
18:32You can put the rocks on there right now.
18:34Here, on top of it here.
18:43You know what?
18:44Mitch!
18:44There you go.
18:45I got us a couch.
18:46Love it.
18:46Look at you.
18:50For us to go.
18:50For us to go.
18:51Oh, it's so good to sit down.
18:54The rocks are boiling.
18:55Rocks are getting hot.
18:56And they are at the temperature that if we drop them into this tumbler, the water will boil.
19:02Oh yeah, I heard it.
19:04And after that, the water should be drinkable.
19:06There's definitely fiber in it.
19:08Correct.
19:09Yeah, put the lid on and it'll trap all that heat in.
19:11You want to keep it closed because it's going to allow it to boil faster.
19:14Oh my f***ing god.
19:18What about your cup?
19:19That looks like it's some little here and there bubblings.
19:23Yeah, we're getting there.
19:24You know, that's a great moment to start on Rabbit.
19:27To get this thing over with.
19:28The boy hungry.
19:30It's been a very long day.
19:31We have fire.
19:32We have shelter.
19:34We have water.
19:35The question is, what are we going to eat?
19:37And where is it coming from?
19:39So, we lost a lot of our daylight building our shelter and collecting our water.
19:43I was really hoping to build some traps and snares, but time is a limited resource and we ran out
19:48a whole bunch of it.
19:49So, the next best thing is when you see something living, just throw something at it.
20:02So, what we're going to do is we're going to process this guy.
20:05We're going to make sure that all of his organs and everything else is good to go.
20:10We're trying to get the maximum amount of nutrition out of them as we possibly can, but first we have
20:14to take the skin off.
20:16Oh, dude.
20:17Lord, we thank you for that creature and we apologize for what we did.
20:21You know, the first animal sacrifice was done by God.
20:24Genesis chapter 3.
20:25In order to cover up our shame of sin in the Garden of Eden, the Lord went and dispatched an
20:32animal and created proper clothing in order to clothe us and hide us of our own shame.
20:37And it is through His grace and His mercy that we learned the penalty of our sin and the cost
20:46is death and not necessarily our own, even though it is what we deserve.
20:51So, as aggressive and brutal it feels, that's the circle of life, the burger you're eating, meat's coming from somewhere.
21:01All of it comes from somewhere and it doesn't just magically appear on your table.
21:05This just looks f***ing unreal.
21:08So, part of our calling as men on this planet is to provide for our families.
21:14And to do that, you got two options for food.
21:17You got vegetables or you have meat.
21:19And the other part of the meat is you have to get it somehow.
21:22And the only other way of getting it is to kill.
21:25There's no way of getting around it.
21:26You don't get meat without killing.
21:28And it needs to be done morally, ethically, and for the right reasons.
21:32If you hold the front legs, I'm going to pull the fur off of the bottom half.
21:37Did you just broke its bone?
21:39Yup.
21:40Well, it's more at the joint.
21:42I separated it.
21:43So, if you did jujitsu, I'd just wrist lock the s*** out of it.
21:46Next part is getting through all of the organs.
21:49When we're doing so, we need to make sure that the rabbit was healthy before we commit to eating all
21:55the internal organs.
21:56Alright, so this is the liver.
21:58It's responsible for processing illness and sickness and everything else like that.
22:02Yup, this one is healthy.
22:03This one looks great.
22:04And it's big.
22:05Which tells me that every one of the other organs on this animal is good for us to eat.
22:10The eyeballs are also edible.
22:12I'm good.
22:14I'm good.
22:15I'm good.
22:15I'm so good, dude.
22:17Oh, my f***ing gun.
22:18What I've done is that with the eyeballs, they are packed with so much sodium and electrolytes that it's better
22:25than like a liquid IV or a Pedialyte in order to get your electrolytes back up and running.
22:32And the best part is you can do it raw.
22:39Holy f***ing shit.
22:41Check, please.
22:42It's got two.
22:44Oh, yeah.
22:45Check, please.
22:46I'm good.
22:47No, I'm serious.
22:48That's not gonna happen in the f***ing end of the world.
22:51At this point, ladies and gentlemen, I'm vegetarian, thank you.
22:55There are things I have no problem doing.
22:57I'll crawl through the building on fire.
22:59I'll get my face smashed by a professional boxer.
23:02This is just too far for me.
23:05Not for my crew, though.
23:06This is the craziest shit I've ever done.
23:08By far.
23:09I'm Alex.
23:10Be a man with me.
23:13Yeah, buddy.
23:15Oh, my gosh.
23:17Ross even ate the stomach contains.
23:19Not as bad as I thought it was gonna be.
23:20No, it's really not that bad.
23:22It's all about the head space.
23:25Now, and that's one of the smaller eyeballs that I've had to do.
23:28We've had to do this with goats.
23:30You can do it with cows.
23:32Like, uh-huh.
23:34And those are big eyes.
23:36It is insane.
23:38I got the eye on my teeth.
23:39One second.
23:41So we just killed the animal.
23:43Then we skinned it.
23:45And then we took all the insides out.
23:48Question, are you boiling organs?
23:50Yes.
23:51Cook it.
23:51We're making organs too.
23:53And now we're gonna cook it.
23:58It's been a very long day.
23:59But overall, I am very happy how it went.
24:03And it's actually pretty cozy in here.
24:05You're hearing the sound dampening too, aren't you?
24:08Like, it's quiet in there.
24:09It's quiet.
24:12Good shit.
24:14I'm ready to eat some f***ing food.
24:17All right, Mitch.
24:19We survived the day.
24:20I am exhausted.
24:22I'm exhausted.
24:22I haven't eaten anything all day since I woke up.
24:25It's gonna taste so much better.
24:28There's a little bit.
24:29I'll get more.
24:32It is definitely interesting.
24:33It's kind of like chicken, but not quite.
24:35Not quite, because the texture is tougher.
24:38Mm-hmm.
24:39Mm-hmm.
24:39It's a reward for the hard work all day.
24:41Right.
24:41And everything we did today, nothing's like astronomically complicated about it.
24:46It's just the stuff that...
24:47It's just time consuming.
24:48Yeah, this is just stuff that people had figured out for centuries.
24:52For me, it's very eye-opening, because it shows me that I am capable, but I'm unprepared.
24:58But it is very, very rewarding and satisfying, because we got fire from nothing to something.
25:06We built a shelter from nothing to something.
25:09This is awesome.
25:10This is like...
25:11We got the water, cleaned all of that.
25:13Yeah.
25:13Got that set up.
25:14We're able to use it and boil the organs down and make a nice little soup out of it.
25:19Like, it's good.
25:21It's good.
25:23It's really good.
25:24I'm...
25:24I believe you.
25:25You know, what I'm thinking about it is, I think, you know, I think every man should
25:29do something like that.
25:30Should.
25:31There's been multiple times where I've ran into full-blown adults in their 20s, 30s,
25:37even further, and they've never seen a tree outside of concrete.
25:41That's just so sad, man.
25:42And they have a new idea.
25:44They've only seen burgers inside of packaging or over at McDonald's or something else like
25:50that.
25:50They don't know what real meat looks like.
25:52They don't know where it comes from.
25:54They don't know what animal it comes from.
25:56They don't know how to take care of themselves.
25:59For all the men, get her ass outside.
26:02Do something manly.
26:03Doesn't mean you have to kill the animal, but if you kill the animal, eat it.
26:07And do it the right way.
26:08Okay, let's eat some f***ing chicken rabbit.
26:12And have some vodka, I guess, because I'm dying on it.
26:16Ross, we gotta find some potatoes.
26:18I cannot not have potatoes with this beautiful rabbit.
26:23Holy s***.
26:34I think I've learned not to take for granted what I have.
26:39Not to forget all the struggles humanity went through.
26:42To be able to provide a modern society so we don't have to struggle anymore.
26:47If you want to support Mitch in his awesome classes, go to agonicllc.com and check it out.
26:54Hopefully someday I'm going to be able to pass on those lessons I've learned to my children.
26:59But for now, I sleep.
27:02Well, good morning.
27:056.36 in the morning.
27:08Yeah.
27:10Mitch is doing his thing with the rabbit.
27:11I slept through the majority of the night.
27:13I woke up four times to just get some more wood so this was going.
27:17I just felt internal need for the fire to keep going for some reason.
27:22It was an experience.
27:23Fun experience, actually.
27:25Do you think I will survive the day in the forest now?
27:28Oh, yeah.
27:28Yeah.
27:29Without a doubt.
27:30You got all the parts and pieces.
27:32You know everything that you need to do.
27:34It's just about doing it.
27:36Well, Mitch, it's been a pleasure.
27:41Thanks for hanging out.
27:42We'll see you on the next one.
