00:03Darren's dream here that it's going to be a family business and I can't see that
00:08happening in the fourth future unless we find something better here on this episode of mine
00:14rescue right now I'm really nervous I'm starting to shake a desperate mine oh and I saw that first
00:21nugget that was it it was game over reliant on his aging parents I've spent over 200,000 myself
00:30I really don't like him up on the high stuff he is getting older so am I gambles everything they
00:36have on gold fever if we don't hit something this year it's not going to be feasible
00:43I would really feel like I let them down all right coming in
00:49to rescue both a mine and family I never actually realized that was bedrock like I had no clue
00:56it's a race to get them on the gold and back in the black
01:02I just cannot believe that we did that in two hours
01:19you must be Jeff huh yeah Juan hey Jeff nice to meet you likewise yeah Sophia nice to meet you
01:26Juan
01:26yeah there's no replacing Freddie but we'll do uh we'll do our best Juan arrives solo in central
01:33British Columbia after a distress call from Freddie as he deals with an emergency back home
01:41hey Juan got some bad news I'm not going to be able to make it up there the flooding at
01:46the house
01:47just wiped me out I've got to get this fixed
01:52in his place he sends in his trusted father-daughter prospecting team Jeff and Sophia bond
01:58you know that's great that you guys were able to come out and give us a hand let's do it
02:02thanks their destination the caribou region and the dirt fishing mine where a gold drought has a
02:11family on the edge of financial crisis from what I understand you know this guy's got 700 acres out
02:18there it's a big claim you know hopefully we'll be able to get in there and do some prospecting yeah
02:23for sure yeah that's our specialty I spent many years with the Yukon geological survey working with
02:30placer miners trying to help them find gold and just really helping them be successful I've had
02:37my eyes on the ground since I could remember I just love finding gold it's just the treasure hunt is
02:42just so exciting it's really nice having Jeff and Sophia here I was a little worried coming out
02:46here without without Fred but honestly being able to get them here in such a short notice it was a
02:59lifesaver
03:00hey how you doing Darren I am how you doing good to meet you thanks hey Juan Rob Rob nice
03:05to meet you
03:05how you doing so uh Freddie wasn't able to make it on this one so we got Jeff and Sophia
03:09they're both
03:10geologists okay that's awesome we've been around a lot of mines seen a lot of ground so we can
03:15hopefully get a better sense of where the better ground has been where it's been not so good oh that's
03:20great this is the whole crew huh or do you have other guys my parents are just over there they're
03:24cleaning the gold from the last run right now and I love it because me and Robbie will go dig
03:28pay my
03:29mom and dad will run the plant everything keeps moving nearly two decades ago Darren and dad Jerry
03:36took their first steps into the world of gold back in 2008 me and my dad would go up on
03:43the Fraser River
03:44and we do some panning and oh and I saw that first nugget that was it it was I was
03:48game over I had to go
03:49find my own claim the Caribou region has been extensively mined so they spent seven years
03:56prospecting before they finally made their pick there was some workings but not a crazy amount we did
04:03some high banking and just picked a random hole out of nowhere and it turned out pretty good so it
04:09was
04:09just convincing my mom and dad who are in retirement if they wanted to do this Darren's firstborn knows
04:17it all that's coming from a mother but yes he's a hard worker the story is I have a son
04:25that decided he
04:27would like to try this out I quit my job to do this now the last two years of wages
04:33put in here and we
04:34never made any money back never did yeah that's what we run this morning and so there's about I
04:40think he said he did 60 yards oh did I want to come not particularly but they needed a third
04:47hand I've
04:48spent probably over 200,000 myself my mom and dad came up here and didn't make a penny the whole
04:56time
04:56they were here and you know to be honest I need to pay them back if we don't hit something
05:03this
05:03year it's not going to be feasible I would really feel like I let them down none of this would
05:08have
05:08been even possible without the two of them so at the end of the year I'd love to you know
05:13give them a
05:1310 ounce bar and send them on a vacation to Europe or wherever they want to go what about you
05:20my role
05:21up here is whatever it takes to get the pay to the plant and run it through I run the
05:25rock truck run
05:26the loader run the excavator whatever I can he's absolutely a big part of everything that goes on
05:33here for sure so uh how long have you guys been mining here this is season 11 we've had it
05:38as good
05:39as an ounce every 40 yards and as bad as an ounce every 400 every piece of ground is different
05:44here
05:44the claim is so big I have no idea how to even understand the geology of it all you had
05:50mentioned
05:50you had some of the gold that you got from your last cleanup yep we see it yeah you bet
05:54all right
05:56there's not a lot of fine in there now how much have you gotten so far uh we're sitting around
06:0112
06:01ounces now okay now uh what's your goal for this year my target's going to be 150 ounces
06:10wow okay in the few months remaining of Darren's season he needs close to two ounces per day to hit
06:18his target I really need to get 150 ounces so that I can make everything viable I've got all my
06:25money
06:25invested in this and my mom and dad's as well so that that's where the stress is it's a big
06:30deal
06:31very big deal okay well you know what we want to do is uh we want to fire her up
06:35we want to do a two
06:36hour test run okay you guys good with that yeah you bet all right well let's do it all right
06:40all right
06:53first bucket first bucket there it is hope this goes good
07:00I'll stay up here take a look at the plant if you guys want to get your things together and
07:04start
07:04taking a look at the cut come on baby show me the gold Rob loads pay into the eight foot
07:11hopper where
07:13it funnels into a 24 foot long trauma a spray bar washes the rocks in the drum pushing finer material
07:24into a 20 foot sluice where gold should be caught
07:31now this pay looks pretty good hope there's some gold in it the way that he's feeding the plant right
07:38now he has to go so slow because all those bigger rocks right now so that way he doesn't drop
07:43them
07:43into that hopper and clog it up test underway this must be where Darren's getting his pay from up here
07:52Jeff and daughter Sophia sneak a look at Darren's cut to assess the quality of dirt it's not a bad
08:00looking gravel there yeah good amount of clay what I noticed though just coming down here this is what
08:07the gravel sitting on it's a full bedrock and what concerns me about this is this is likely a glacial
08:16lake
08:18lake laid down by melting ice sediment from a glacial lake forms into a hard surface known as false bedrock
08:27gold may rest on this layer but far less than on true bedrock where water has had millions of years
08:35to re-concentrate the deposit on a glacial lake surface like this it's probably just one event that's
08:42happened so we're looking for something potentially accumulated gold over a longer period of time okay
08:49so where do you think we should take our pants we'll take one from the false bedrock contact yeah being
08:57able to find bedrock for Darren is just incredibly valuable for him so it will definitely provide some
09:02higher grades and some more knowledge for him back at the plant Irene takes up loading duties to get as
09:14much pay as they can through the plan oh great this can't be good one's looking at the plan
09:24you can tell that they're screening really big look how big that is the problem with that is you start
09:30screening that big you start losing a lot of your fine gold so you can see a couple pieces in
09:43here
09:43there's there's quite a few so that's more than what's acceptable we're gonna have to figure out
09:48what we can do there to be able to help them with that fine gold recovery well guys hey it's
10:01a two
10:01hour run yeah you want to tell your mom to cut it off shut it down right on guys thank
10:06you last bucket
10:22you know Irene you're actually a pretty decent operator uh if you want you know I can offer
10:27you a job in Reno you know what I might take it be careful what you ask you guys want
10:33to clean it up
10:33and I'll be back in the morning we'll do a gold way sounds good all right sounds great thank you
10:37thank you thanks one one thing's for sure you know I know they're losing gold the plant needs a lot
10:41of
10:41repair you know between the hopper the sluice box and also the spray bars there's a ton of work that
10:46needs to be done I feel for Darren and I want to help him pay his parents back
10:52coming up all hands are gonna be on deck we're gonna try to get as much done as we can
11:02how's it
11:03going now we found a spot the test didn't turn out at all right now I'm really nervous I really
11:07want
11:07this to work let's wait huh you ready what it is
11:23there she is at the champ mine in British Columbia it's the moment of truth from the two-hour test
11:31run
11:31well let's weigh it up okay to hit his goal by the end of the season this test must produce
11:39over
11:39a third of an ounce there it is a tenth of an ounce there's at least gold there but you
11:54know the one
11:55thing that I really am worried about is I think we're losing a lot of that fine gold oh wow
11:59but also one
12:01of the concerns they have is I think we're sending the wrong material to the plant okay I want to
12:08be
12:08ambitious with what we do here so give me a few minutes we're gonna talk and see what we can't
12:12come up with and we'll go from there okay all right I'll see in a bit yeah the gold way
12:17didn't go well
12:17at all point one of an ounce I think a lot of it you know has to do with the
12:22ground that we were
12:23running we need to understand where the gold actually has deposited that's the hardest thing to figure out
12:31what are your thoughts on the prospecting so it's a false bedrock what he's running right now what we
12:37want to find is a gravel underneath that lake sediment something better at the bottom it's got more gold in
12:42it older gravel okay that's a great time to be able to bring Darren down there to teach him how
12:47to read
12:47the ground because really at the end of the day what we teach him now he'll have forever and that
12:53well sounds like a plan we definitely got our work cut out for us all right Sophia and Jeff are
13:02gonna
13:02spend as much time as they can for you know prospecting to try to help you guys find areas
13:07and target zones to go after but as part of that you know Jeff wants you there also so he
13:13can kind of
13:13start teaching you what to look for you know and how to read the ground perfect as far as the
13:17plant goes
13:18what I want to do is build a completely new hopper we're going to build a new aesthetic Grizzlies as
13:22well and then for your fine gold recovery I'm gonna actually cut perforations in your trommel drum
13:27build a new 24 inch sluice box that's 20 foot long that sounds awesome that's nice in a major rebuild
13:35to
13:36increase productivity one will fabricate a brand new two-ton steel hopper topped with six inch thick
13:45grizzly bars to separate out large boulders fine gold will pass through 60 engineered slits cut
13:54around the trommel and will feed into a new 20 foot sluice specifically for fine gold Jeff and Sophia's
14:04mission give Darren invaluable prospecting know-how and redirect him to gold rich ground we're kind of in
14:12the realm of about $15,000 for material and then we're thinking about an ounce of peace at the end
14:18of
14:18the season well what do you think I don't think we have a choice I don't think we either nope
14:29let's
14:30do it let's do it okay well let's do it all right well we'll get to work we've been fighting
14:35up here for
14:35quite a while it's becoming more and more difficult to keep pushing forward so hopefully his fixes catch
14:44all that gold that I'm missing not only for myself but my mom and dad as well
14:56so what I'm working on right now is getting the hopper design one's first challenge build a monster new
15:03six by four foot steel hopper that will feed pay into the trommel I got some measurements on the
15:10framework that we have existing on the plant what we have to do is we have to custom build a
15:15hopper to
15:15go inside that honestly we're stretched really thin right now hey Trav calling because I need you and
15:23Alex to to head this way yeah you leave as soon as you can we definitely got our plate full
15:29here at
15:30one's cut trailer a 40,000 degree plasma beam cuts his designs out of half inch thick steel the hopper
15:39right now the bottom consists of about five pieces the top is another six or seven pieces and then the
15:46Grizzlies are going to be another you know hundred pieces so really it's like a jigsaw puzzle you know
15:50we got to get everything cut out and then we can start slapping it together and get it all welded
15:53out okay here we go to make way for one's hopper fix Darren Jerry Rob and operator Davey must first
16:08remove the old one yeah he's gonna burn a hole so we can put chain hooks in on all four
16:15corners so we
16:16can lift it straight up I love my work that's why I'm still doing it at 75 I really don't
16:25like him
16:26up on the high stuff he is getting older so am I so there you go I was age six
16:39my dad was a heavy-duty
16:41mechanic and my job was to watch everything he did and handle the right tool for the job and if
16:49I didn't
16:49look out that's the way it was Darren's my step-son but he's still my son we talked about mine
16:57and when
16:57he was growing up as a kid and always kind of was a passion you're always on a treasure hunt
17:03so Darren's
17:05dream here that it's gonna be a family business and I can't see that happening in the fourth future unless
17:10we
17:11find something better here tough nut to crack a little bit crane over here in a minute we're all
17:17done all done nice almost there it was welded in more than we thought I just wanted to make sure
17:32that they're doing okay see how far along we've gotten how we doing gentlemen hey guy how's it going
17:37good it's coming along so what are you gonna do just cut it and then yet lift it out the
17:42top give
17:43her a rip and see what happens then we'll know where it's attached just yank it just pull as hard
17:49as you can just keep on yanking until it sounds expensive huh yeah that's usually what I get told
17:56too that's exactly how it goes most of the times Darren's idea to wrap a chain on it and pull
18:04until
18:05she breaks free well I don't think it'll let go I think there's too much weld still holding it in
18:10place operator Rob Benjamin has been mining with Darren for 11 years but takes other work to keep
18:19his head above water at the moment we're just scraping by if this were to succeed that would give me
18:25the
18:25opportunity to move up here work full-time and support my family give her a shot try it yeah nice
18:39and easy
18:47yeah it's coming give it a jerk hey what is it attached to still it's like it's stuck on something
19:05there it is yeah we got it oh my god beautiful
19:25let's try over here old hopper removed Darren joins Jeff and Sophia half a mile up the creek let's
19:33have a look here for his first prospecting master class man it's hard yeah yeah this is a good spot
19:41Darren which really could quite a consolidated gravel down here and then you get into this more of a sandy
19:47layer I can go show yeah contact if you'd like so just up here quite loose at this surface it's
20:00actually quite flat right here that contact is quite even quite flat bedrock is much much older and it's
20:09harder and so that change in hardness is really what we're looking for yeah that's super obvious here
20:15that'll be where you get your best gold and then this is still quite soft but that that's your bedrock
20:23over time the weight of gold makes it sink through the ground but once it reaches bedrock
20:30it can't fall any further this is exactly what we're looking for this is your bedrock and the good news
20:37is
20:37it's outcropping here it's exposed and it's really not far below the surface I never actually realized
20:44that was bedrock until you guys were here like I had no clue like I just thought it was just
20:48more
20:49gravel just dig it up and keep going so yeah one of my biggest things of struggling is trying to
20:54identify where all the gold is and understanding the geology of the process yeah you're looking for
21:00a lot of volume to make it pay but we can't mine this close to the stream despite the promising
21:07bedrock find
21:09environmental laws prevent any mining within 33 feet of the river so we've identified bedrock here we
21:17know what it looks like so we need to go identify something like this elsewhere on your property
21:25it's very unfortunate that I can't mine it because it's too close to the creek but they explained
21:30everything so very well that I can actually understand what I'm actually looking at now
21:48looks like it oh yeah in British Columbia at Darren champs dirt fish and mine Juan's rescue
21:58reinforcements Alex and Travis arrived good thing you guys are here we got three weeks worth of work
22:05that we got to cram into just a few days so let's get going guys their first task help join
22:12the two
22:12pieces together for the new hopper good good good good good that will help Darren and his family up their
22:19production hit it that closed it up well we got this on its side now what we're gonna do is
22:31we're
22:31gonna put the ribs that go across here that way it supports the side so when we get material they
22:36don't
22:36bulge out that's good right there ah look at that now we're talking now this looks interesting Darren we got
22:56boulders here that's a good sign though we should sample this
23:04we're gonna see what's in the bottom of this hole hopefully something testable and something runnable
23:11if it isn't I'm in trouble
23:21it's not looking too good really not much better what they're getting up there no based on our initial
23:27findings the gravel it does not carrying a lot of gold and what gold is showing up in our pans
23:34he's
23:35probably losing in a sluice box so those two things are discouraging poor results and short on time
23:43Jeff makes a call hey Freddie how are you doing we found a spot that looked really good it had
23:53all the
23:54elements of of having good gold but turned out to be a bust I thought we'd give you a shout
24:00and see
24:01if you could give us some pointers I've done quite a bit of work in that area but you know
24:06as well as
24:06I do every creeks different right yeah is there any Chinese workings in there usually where they were
24:11at there was gold I haven't seen any yet but we can certainly go look for some most of the
24:20Chinese miners
24:21who made their way to the caribou gold fields came from the Pearl River Delta region of Guangdong
24:28province they quickly became invaluable developing simple but innovative techniques to extract fine
24:35gold but working mostly by hand they struggled to reach bedrock on deposits containing large boulders
24:44yeah just look for Chinese workings okay yeah well we'll keep you posted on what we find so talk to
24:51you later sir yeah take care bye bye well here she comes look at that Robbie oh that's beautiful can't
25:03wait to
25:03Chuck rocks at it at the wash plan the next question is if the refabricated two-ton hopper will fit
25:14into place
25:17it's the moment of truth we're gonna try to see if that fits in there the way we had it
25:21planned honestly
25:23uh you never know until it actually goes in hold it what are we catching on have them lifted back
25:36up you
25:37gotta go up it's caught in the bottom there you go there she is boom out stick out slowly down
25:44Dave
25:59there you go right there I like it that's perfect look at that eh the first piece of the puzzle
26:07is it's
26:08perfect it's hard not to smile when you see something like that we're exactly where I wanted
26:13to be today I wanted to get that hopper in place to make sure it fit and it fits perfectly
26:17so that's a
26:18big relief tomorrow's gonna be a bunch more work but at least we kind of see a little light at
26:23the
26:23end of the tunnel let's try over here that was an old cabin look at that yeah they were here
26:43following
26:44Freddy's hunch Jeff and Sophia are on the hunt for evidence of methodical Chinese mining looks like an
26:52old dam you're right that is a dam that could very well be Chinese workings they would have impounded the
27:01water behind the dam and then likely just let it go catastrophically as a ground sluice look at the size
27:08of
27:08the tree coming out of it that is huge 1800s yeah so really good evidence of Chinese workings it looks
27:17like we're in the right place here yeah let's get Darren in here with the excavator and dig a test
27:23pit
27:23and see what we can find okay this is how I'm going to learn yeah yeah if we hit a
27:37boulder layer
27:38right on bedrock that's a great sign that's good oh yeah there's some big boulders
27:47but we like to see boy DV I think it's a boulder layer right on bedrock okay yeah the boulders
27:59are
27:59sticking on bedrock there's a good chance the boulders definitely yeah you think about that
28:05placer effect and the reworking and the erosion of material you're always putting your heaviest
28:11stuff on the bottom oh yeah that's a big one there wow you imagine the Chinese moving that
28:19stuff around no you're not moving that let's hope there's a lot of yellow down there with it yeah I
28:24got a color change down there change into a more blue color down there is that bedrock down there
28:31well that looks good that looks really good so the color change is obviously from just different
28:37minerals and stuff like that right so that bedrock was an old gravel and it's coming from a different
28:42source rock in general and so I'm I'm encouraged by that plus look at the size of the rock that's
28:48come
28:49out of here yeah that's fantastic some really big rock how much gold is through the whole thing really
28:53so we need to take a representative sample so what we're going to do here yeah is is we're going
28:58to take
28:59four or five gallon pails okay that's that's about a tenth of a loose cubic yard okay and just so
29:06we're
29:07always sampling volume testing for five gallon pails of material taken from multiple spots in the test
29:16hole should give a better understanding of how much gold is at bedrock this could be a game changer that
29:22gravel if it's got a lot of gold and it is definitely going to change things around here
29:43today's the big day it's going to be a long day we got a lot to do at darren champs
29:47caribou mine
29:4924 hours remain before the final test run all hands are going to be on deck I got all the
29:53guys here
29:54we're going to try to get as much done as we can hopefully by the end of the night we'll
29:58be ready to
30:01run first order of the day start the new fine gold recovery circuit by adding these slits and the
30:08trommel what we're going to do is we're going to allow that material that smaller material to drop
30:11out so it has a chance to get washed properly instead of going down with the big sluice and
30:16fighting with that bigger material cutting a series of footlong slits in the trommel will
30:21allow smaller gold rich material to pass into the new sluice all that fine material is going to go
30:29down this box and be able to get recovered where it's not competing with the bigger material watch
30:33your eyes all we have left to do is put this little back piece and then a ramp and then
30:45it's ready to go
30:46we're going to load it up and get it up to the plant and get it installed all right so
30:53these are the
30:56samples from the test pit we did today looks like really good gravel and five feet to bedrock and yeah
31:04we'll see what's in it all right thanks Irene Irene cleans up the pay dirt from the 20 gallon sample
31:11Jeff Sophia and Darren took from the cut we've got high hopes yes we do and this is a slow
31:18process as
31:19well definitely we want to be as meticulous as we can which I know you are well what are we
31:27doing here
31:27this is the test pit sample this is uh hopefully got the money in it Jerry okay I'm guess hey
31:34just
31:34give me a shot I gotta get some welding rod up the other job okay sounds good hey buddy so
31:39I noticed
31:40that uh Jerry hasn't stopped uh working for a few days now he loves to work he's only got one
31:48gear
31:48yeah keep going if there's something to do I gotta get it done but a lifetime of hard work and
31:56the
31:56stress of a failing mine has taken its toll on Jerry we were driving out to a lake just a
32:04nice
32:04Sunday afternoon it was hot he says I'm not feeling so good I'm gonna go get checked out so in
32:12he goes
32:13and it wasn't good they flew him the next morning to Kelowna and he had a quadruple bypass the very
32:20following day he is getting older Darren's aim is to get more gold than he's been getting so that he
32:27can get more now to make use of it the doc told him that he could live another 30 years
32:34after his
32:35bypasses nice so he's taking that to heart no kidding yeah taking it to heart is right hook up on
32:48it
32:48driving there you go yeah go second one in back at the wash plant coming up with the half inch
32:56thick
32:56sidewalls now welded onto the hopper the team finished the fix with new 3,600 pound grizzly bars big
33:06moment yeah I've always dreamed of grizzly bars like this watch yourself watch out guys careful
33:25right there are you good Alex that's good when you're fabricating something in the dirt and it
33:34fits hey what work can you ask for got something to show you what you got check out these two
33:42pans
33:44irene's 20 gallon sample run complete Jeff and Sophia take the results to Jerry and Darren
33:52this will be really easy to catch in your sluice this material is going to fall out like right away
33:57that's heavy enough that it'll catch it and hopefully we'll be running this material in the plant
34:02hey we'll be in the money now hey wouldn't that be something that'll pay bills yeah
34:10well that's awesome the results are promising but it's the test run tomorrow that will tell
34:17them if the new material and Juan's plant fixes have turned their fortunes around there's hope
34:24there's actually hope now in mining there's so many highs and so many lows you hope that around the
34:31next corner the next hole is going to give you the riches and the rewards right and that's what we
34:36all dream about as miners last task pre-test add the new sluice designed for fine gold right now
34:46we're a little bit behind schedule still a few little things to get done here and it's uh it's
34:52coming down to crunch time like last minute moment of truth there Jerry there we go got it it's in
35:00all
35:00the way and it looks like uh we're going big time now yeah no kidding it's been a crazy week
35:07oh yeah
35:08it looks good let's see how it runs now huh I'm excited yeah me too oh man it's impressive I
35:15can't
35:15believe somebody do that for us with all the repairs that we're doing here on the plant it's very possible
35:21that we could double their gold intake maybe even more
35:39well you know I know your goal is to be able to have a family mine and honestly working with
35:43everyone this week I think you're on to something here I certainly hope so we're gonna find out well
35:47let's do it let's do a test run let's do it the next two-hour test running new pay on
35:54a revamped plant
35:55all right will determine Darren's future I've been pretty calm all week but right now I'm really
36:02nervous I'm starting to shake a little bit because I really want this to work so yeah I'm excited
36:17well there's gonna be the first bucket right there first bucket
36:38watching the plant run it's like clockwork right now it's perfect it feels great hopefully when we
36:44shut down we'll see some gold in the box it looks really good things are running nothing's backing up
36:52so far so good so looks awesome looks like it's working out really well here there's that seems
37:03like there's more pay going through for sure he's running a lot more material so let's uh let's see if
37:08at the end of the run we got double the gold we should yeah I'm excited for this test that
37:13that cut
37:13looked really good to us well we appreciate the invitation yeah no no worry that was really fun
37:25well Darren that's two hours what do you say that's the last bucket
37:40well I could see a bunch of fine gold from here so yeah it's looking really nice I think we're
37:45on
37:46the right track then why don't we uh hold the box apart and let's get it cleaned up yep sounds
37:49good let's
37:59do it
37:59well it's the moment of truth let's see ya
38:03oh to hit Darren's 150 ounce target by the end of the season this test must deliver over a third
38:10of an
38:10ounce pretty healthy looking man really really good well let's weigh it so what do we get the first way
38:16you remember a tenth of an ounce zero yeah so 300 bucks let's call it 300 so there's our first
38:28way right
38:28there holy actually a little over here a little over our first way now let's see what we really got
38:35a half an ounce wow there three quarters of an ounce whoa oh oh oh oh wow
38:50two hours two hours that's pretty good wow you can make money at that in a day's run Darren and
38:59his
38:59family could make over $18,000 wow I don't even know what to say I was not expecting anything like
39:11that at all and to see something like that kind of gets me a little emotional and I'm a lot
39:17excited
39:17like moving forward I'm just I can't wait to get going unbelievable that's uh it's actually unreal I
39:26cannot believe we did that in two hours well I did some quick math and in the beginning you
39:32said you wanted 150 ounces for the season right yeah well at that rate if we're running 10 hour days
39:37you'll get your 150 ounce season in 25 days that's insane wow that's so crazy in 25 days you'll reach
39:48your goal that's so we keep it all running yeah well that's why you're here and you're here exactly
39:55that was a phenomenal gold way you know it was a 1200 percent increase but it was so much more
40:00than
40:00just a plant it was a prospecting going out there and finding better ground and Sophia and Jeff did it
40:05and we were able to process more of that material at the plant as well you know at the end
40:10of the day
40:11for your mind for your family it's a real possibility now it's fantastic I don't even know what to say
40:18but thank you you're very welcome don't mind I give you a hug Jerry pleasure buddy I just cannot tell
40:28you enough about Juan what he's done for us it's life-changing it's totally life-changing
40:36genuinely the look on everybody's face that was there you know you can tell that dream that they
40:41have it actually it's a possibility now the future is looking fantastic this changes everything you
40:48know what maybe we better spend more time and make some extra money maybe we can have a holiday one
40:54of
41:05these days it's a life-changing thing for me the new hopper the whole set of grizzly bars the second
41:11solution our productions up 110 120 percent Sophia and Jeff I just can't thank them enough now I
41:19actually understand what I'm actually looking for which is it's huge moving forward my mom and dad
41:27have always supported me in everything I've done and I was able to give my parents 10 ounces it makes
41:33me feel really good and you know I owe all it all to them
