02:16so they're used to the hard-pack conditions.

02:21We know we can get out of the gate, and we're happy with how it's set up.

02:43and I wondered if we would see a little bit of uncertainty
02:46or maybe a miss on the first start for Levi Kitchen because of that change.
02:51So far, it looks exactly like that.

02:55so it's something they've got to get straightened out before the main event.

03:24and great to see Max Anstey out here getting a good start,
03:29positioned himself well, like we talked about at the top of the show,
03:33for that second position in the championship,
03:36and I just love Max and the experience that he has.
03:40Using that to his advantage, you would assume in a situation like this.
03:46This is a guy that was a championship contender at the beginning of the series,
03:51and he's held tough.
03:52He really has.
03:53You remember he had that appendix issue?
03:55That's right.
03:55He told me that he kind of felt like because of that he lost a bit of his core strength,
04:00and that resulted in him having a back injury.
04:03So he's had to really work hard to get back to what,
04:06to actually take a couple of weeks off,
04:08to get back to what he felt, where he felt strong again, himself again,
04:13and here he is leading in this first team.
04:16You know, who else is doing a nice job is the 18-year-old Hayden Munea.
04:21Yeah, this is long-awaited.
04:22Now, remember, he did the SMX Next race.
04:25He was scheduled to do that early in the year, JT at Houston,
04:29and he took a massive crash in qualifying practice,
04:31and that's what sidelined him to not make a debut earlier.
04:35And it's going to be interesting to follow his story tonight,
04:38and part of that interesting story is the last-second decision
04:42for him to make the jump up to this 250 West division,
04:45so much so that they did not have a motorcycle for him to race as of Monday.
04:50They had to put all the parts, the entire frame,
04:52every ounce of that motorcycle on an airplane,
04:54get it shipped here, build it from parts for him to race
04:58because they simply were not prepared to add another motorcycle to the mix.
05:01So all hands on deck to get Munea racing tonight.
05:04I asked Caden yesterday, I said, how did this come about?
05:07He said, simple.
05:08I pleaded my case to team owner Bobby Reagan and said,
05:11I don't want to end this year with me not having a great result in SMX Next.
05:16I know I'm capable of doing well.
05:18And he just said, I pleaded my case.
05:20And Bobby said, okay, we'll give you a shot.
05:22Well, and you think about the lineup that has come through that SMX Next
05:26from the star Yamaha Monster Energy racing team.
05:30You talk about Muneer, we're watching him right now.
05:32Landon Gordon, see how well he did at his first debut.
05:37And, you know, there's so many guys in that lineup,
05:40so they're fighting for a job here.
05:44So far, so good in his first professional race.
05:48He's ahead of Levi Kitchen.
05:51Now, here is Triumph's Gage Linville.

05:57Jalik Swole got injured just right before the season started, unfortunately.

06:20Sadly, he got hurt and during press day and got sidelined.
